This beach hotel is located on the Bodrum Peninsula in an area known as Kadikalesi, which is a 5-minute taxi ride from the famous weekly farmers market and the numerous restaurants, bars and shops of Turgutreis. Sitting on its own private beach area, the venue is ideal for all water-sport enthusiasts due to the sheer number of facilities it can offer them. Those who aren't so keen on activities can simply relax around the outdoor swimming pool and enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean weather. The youngest guests will also have their own separate children's swimming area where they can play under the watchful eye of their parents. For little extra pampering the venue can also offer soothing massages and a sauna.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. You can soak up the sun at the private beach or enjoy other recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and a sauna. Additional amenities at this property include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and a hair salon.
The hotel is fairly average, definitely a three star hotel. Our room was tired and in need of modernisation/some care. The shower leaked everywhere and one night we completely lost water pressure in the bathroom. The air con worked but wasn’t powerful enough.
The housecleaning was quite basic each day and the floor still felt gritty even after the daily clean. The sheets also had some stains on them.
The food at the buffet was pretty poor. The absolute basics of everything. I read a review that described them as catering to a local market, which we were looking forward to, but it was not Turkish food.
The evening entertainment felt a bit lazy. One night, it was literally a game of musical chairs. And “Turkish night” was one belly dancer.
In terms of drinks, you could get things like soft drinks, beer, gin, vodka and wine at the bar. However, no tonic. The juices were also un-watered down cordials and not drinkable. The beach bar is not part of the all inclusive deal but we decided to have a cocktail there while watching the sun setting. We were told the first drink we chose wasn’t available. So we then ordered mojitos and the barman went to get some ingredients only to come back and say they’d finished the cocktails for the day. It just seems ludicrous- sunset is a prime time for a cocktail!
The hotel is also very far away from anything. It is possible to walk into Turgutreis but it takes about 45 mins and is very hard going during the day.
On the positives, it is very close to the beach and the bed was quite comfortable. My daughter also loved the mini disco in the evening and the lady who runs it managed to stay very enthusiastic and encouraging to all the kids even though she does it on repeat every night!
Great location near the sea, the staff were all really friendly and made a huge difference, especially the whole team and the animator Azra. I would recommend!
This was my first time staying at this hotel and I can honestly say that I will definitely choose it again whenever I come to Turkey The hotel has a beautiful view and the staff are absolutely excellent It was an incredible experience especially for my children Ms Azra was wonderful with them You can truly see how much she loves her job and how much she cares about children My children really enjoyed spending time with her Overall we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Turkey
We stayed at the Tiana Beach Hotel for 1 week and during that time we had such a fun, relaxing, great time and met some amazing people along the way.
The hotel owner, Veysi, was very nice, always walking around talking to you, asking if everything was ok and cared about what you had to say. The outside barman was also very friendly and always had a smile on his face any time you asked for a drink. Everyday the entertainer, Bob, was very involved with everyone, playing darts, water gym, disco night, karaoke, bingo (where you could win great prizes), playing music, etc.
The hotel also had a onsight spa where you could get really relaxing full body massages or the the full Turkish spa experience. We went 3 times and were very relaxed and were always wanting more of them. Some nights they have special dinners that they make in front of you and these were so tasty including getting all your other sides and mains from the buffet. They also had many varieties of desserts!
The rooms were very spacious with a very nice balcony/ views and aircon. Rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding everyday. It was very quiet at night, guaranteeing a great night sleep. Amazing sunsets from the jetty out to the sea.
We met a man who worked for a restaurant at the hotel who offered a free taxi to and from the hotel, which is a only a very short bus ride away from Bodrum centre. This was a very good experience to do whilst in Turkey. Once you get to the restaurant (The Red Dragon). it had such a vast food and drink menu and was really good price compared to anywhere else.
Overall this hotel and experience really stood out to us, we are already planning to go there next year because of how much it surprised us and impressed us. Finally it was my daughter's 13th birthday whilst we were there and all the staff made a fuss of her and made it a very memorable birthday.
I stayed at Tiana Beach Resort alone with my 7-year-old daughter. The reception was unfortunately one of the few places where the staff could speak English. Our room was located on the ground floor and smelled very musty and stale upon arrival. We had to complain to our travel agency representative, and only after her intervention did they finally clean the room properly. The food was also a big disappointment – very poor quality and a very limited selection. However, the worst and most unacceptable experience was with the restaurant manager, Habip. He was extremely pushy. Even though I clearly stated that I am married, he forced his WhatsApp number on me. When I messaged him out of politeness, he started making highly inappropriate suggestions. What is worse, he kept repeating over and over that he wanted to come to my room. He repeatedly begged me to let him in, completely ignoring my constant refusals and the fact that my little daughter was sleeping inside. I am currently addressing and resolving this entire situation officially with my travel agency. I highly do not recommend this hotel.
