This hotel is located on the hillside over Akyarlar Bay, which has been selected as one of the top 15 beaches in the world by Forbes Magazine. The resort has a unique view of the Greek island of Kos across the Aegean Sea. Stylish and modern, it offers a choice of bars and eateries, including a cafe, restaurant and disco. For the business minded there are a number of meeting rooms, a business centre and wireless Internet access. The hotel has a total of 4 swimming pools, 3 of which are outdoors, including an activities pool, a children's swimming area and an aqua park. Guests can relax by the poolside snack bar or make use of the sun lounges and parasols on the sun terrace. Plenty of sport activities and facilities are available to sport enthusiasts.
We had a fantastic stay at Kefaluka Resort in September and were very happy with our choice.The location is absolutely stunning. The hotel is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens, the sea was lovely for swimming, and there was plenty of space on the beach with no difficulty finding sunbeds. We also really enjoyed walking along the beautiful seaside promenade.The standard of hospitality, cleanliness and food throughout the hotel was excellent.
Our room was spacious and had a magnificent sea view. Although the décor was slightly dated, the room was comfortable and we had no major issues.Food was one of the highlights of our stay. There was an excellent variety of meat and vegetable dishes, fresh fruit and a wonderful selection of cakes and desserts. We also enjoyed our à la carte dining experiences, particularly the fish and Chinese restaurants. Compliments to the chefs and the entire hospitality team!
Another highlight was the resort's sports programme. We were very well looked after by two lovely instructors, Ece and Hilal, who were friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging. The training room was well equipped, with a fantastic sea view and a wonderfully positive atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the only disappointing part of our stay was the spa and hammam area. We noticed leaking shower heads, damaged wooden flooring and mould on the shower walls in the changing room. This was noticeably below the otherwise high standards of the resort, and we sincerely hope the management will address these maintenance and cleanliness issues. Apart from this, our stay at Kefaluka Resort was wonderful from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We had one of our best holidays and came away with many happy memories. We would definitely love to return in the future.
Amazing atmosphere thanks to the staff, especially Kaan from animation team and barman Eyyup who were great and very helpful. Making our time so special. The views are wonderful and very tasty food. Wi-fi is bad but you can rest from all the tik-tok and Insta sh*t.
After returning to the hotel September 2026, I am horrified at the present state of some areas. As a retired Environmental Health Inspector in the UK . I have serious concerns about Health and safety Areas that are of concern are numerous and I have taken pictures to reference a complaint which I intend to raise with Jet2. Jet 2 need to reconsider the star status at this resort immediately. And organise at audit and inspection out of duty to its customers.
It was great. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very helpful. The highlight, however, was the Zuzu Club; my daughter took part in the activities and was incredibly happy—the young women organizing the kids' entertainment were amazing!
