Returned 2 weeks ago it was our third time here an this year we was disappointed, last year we had an amazing time the animation team was brillant things going on threw out the day , singing , dancing water games was brillant this year not really nothing which was disappointing, the evening entertain was also disappointing same paparazzi party as last year an the rest of the week didn’t really enjoy , it’s a shame as the hotel as such potential an seems to have gone backwards in the entertainment sector , the food was great an I would say more variety than last year , the room well on arrival said we was being upgraded even though we paid for a family room we got a sea view family room which was great but air con was not working I rang an someone came up an said it takes 2 hours to kick in well it was the same all week I only never complained again as it wasn’t to hot if we went June /July an it was in the 30s I would of , the animation team well only seen one girl walking around saying volleyball an then Maria who done the aerobics I found her quite rude would only really talk to the Turkish people an never once was invited to come an play were as last year the team would have everyone up morning dances at 10 am I really thing they should bring that back or I won’t be returning which is a shame
My 8th time in La Blanche resort Bodrum!❤️ And not the last one,already booked for next year,will be happy to be here in May till June🥰amazing 5 weeks! Always close to animation team,they are great guys! Special love to Maria & Mehmet,they are so lovely and friendly,always happy and very good what they do😊Also thanks for Nevzat,he is also such a good person! Hotel is very nice good location staff amazing bar staff helpful entertainment team very helpful make them self known with information tell us the game a daily programes and activity going show progames tell nice music round the pool bars made so good friends with maria
We had another lovely holiday at La Blanche, we did miss Hero and his team singing and dancing on the bridge every morning but Maria was very friendly and enthusiastic. When we arrived late evening, our room wasn’t what we had booked but this was sorted out the following morning. All the staff work so hard, with over 300 rooms, it’s a massive operation to try and please everyone. We thought the evening entertainment in previous years was better but it didn’t spoil our stay. Great choice of food, fabulous location. Thank you to all at La Blanche.
This hotel is a shadow of its former self. After 19 years and 30+ holidays in this hotel we're not coming back. Over the last 4 years the cost of staying here has risen sharply while quality at the hotel has dropped. We've given it 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances but are quitting before we waste any more money. Our main complaint is the food in the main restaurant in the evening which can only be described as dire, quantity not quality seems to be the goal in this restaurant. Breakfasts aren't bad, if you want an omlette don't go in before 8am as nobody will be manning the omelette station! Lunches at the snack bar are OK but evening meals are awful. We tried eating in the hotel for 3 evenings out of the 14 but gave up after that and went into town to eat and drink. With the current cost of staying at the hotel this makes for an expensive holiday. There was also no consistency in the quality of drinks, probably due to end of season budget squeezes. Gin and tonic or vodka tonic sometimes tasted like a load of chemicals had been poured into your floppy plastic cup (don't get me started on those). The animation team this year were the worst we've experienced at this hotel, the same set of music was played everyday around the pool for two weeks, you could almost tell the time by it. Come on guys. This is what you do for a living, stop being lazy. Daytime activities were heavily slanted towards various kinds of exercise. Gone are the silly pool competitions that everyone loved and laughed along with. Even the giant inflatable when it appeared in June was simply left for guests to randomly clambour over - no adult or children competitions were staged. No boules. shooting or water polo but if you like yoga, sub yoga, aquarobics, volleyball or darts you were well catered for. Hardly any interaction between animation team members and hotel guests other than during an actual exercise class. No morning hello, no here we are for the day just a poster telling guests what the daily programme was and a brief walk past to get to an activity location - pool music playing monotonously in the background. There are positives at the hotel. It looks nice. The bar staff are pleasant, housekeeping are amazing and rooms are a decent size. The jewellers is well worth a visit and the boat guys are great, always worth doing a daily boat trip. The downsides outweigh the positives and nobody can accuse us of not giving it a fair chance but it just isn't the friendly, happy hotel it once was and the evening food us unacceptable. Thank you La Blanche you used to be a blast but no more, we'll be staying in an aparthotel in the town next year.
