The luxurious La Blanche Resort & Spa is located on 22,000 m2 in a frontline situation in Turgutreis on the western tip of the Bodrum peninsula, enjoying magnificent views of the eternal blue of the Aegean Sea, the beautiful sunsets and the Greek islands of Kalymnos, Pserimos and Kos. The centre of Turgutreis with shopping opportunities and a marina can be reached within a 15-minute walk. The elegant hotel has direct access to a golden sandy beach and offers a 1,600 m2 man-made lagoon, unique in Turkey. Guests preferring to swim in the pool will have a 1,800 m2 botanic pool at their disposal, the centrepiece of the complex. Guests can choose between a large variety of excellent services and amenities, including a fantastic spa with hammam, sauna and massage treatments, various restaurants with Turkish, Mediterranean and Chinese cuisine as well as several bars and a mini-club for younger guests.

My favourite resort in Turkey!
This was my second time at this hotel, first time in 2022. Was hoping it was the same if not very similar as obviously we re booked based on good things previously and did NOT disappoint.
ROOM & GENERAL AREAS:- Beautiful hotel, (family pool view) extremely clean and tidy, staff always sweeping/moping/grass cutting. Rooms absolutely stunning, all equipped with Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash, shower caps, cotton pads, cotton buds. Towels and bedding changed daily. Mini fridge stocked up with water, coca cola, fanta, sparkling water. Unfortunately we couldn't get a late check out but this isn't an issue as you can tore luggage and use spa showers and facilities .
BEACH/POOL & SUNBEDS :- The beach is a nice beach, fairly rocky/pebbly and not too large but this again was ideal for us. Almost cove like. Perfect to watch the sunset at night time, its a stunning sight. Lots of sunbeds throughout the day. Showers/bar on beach. They have 3 cabanas you can use for a fee but not really necessary. Pool was gorgeous as usual, perfect temperature to cool off but not too cold. Same depth all the way around. Kept clean all the time. I was anxious about the sunbed wars, I reserved sunbeds around 8am every morning and there was an abundance left! Some free all day and lots on the beach free all day too. Towels are provided from the spa. Kids pool located round the back next to the kids club, quite small pool (mainly for babies/toddlers) but also has 3 waterslides which is always fun for the kids.
FOOD & DRINK:- Again based on our last trip, the food was a huge reason for the return. Stunning food all over, a choice of 4/5 additional restaurants in the hotel (fish and sushi, turkish, italian) and are included in all inclusive but boast a more lavish dining experience with menus and 4 courses (too much food for us!) The snack bar is by far our favourite, right between the pool and beach, easy to order using the QR code on table, food always came in under 3 minutes of ordering, most of the time before the drinks. Lots to choose from and very decent quality too. Snack bar ran from 10pm-8am so ideal if you're arriving late like we did. Quality branded ice creams on a help yourself basis from 10am-5pm. Drinks are served in plastic cups if poolside and at busy periods in the evening when entertainment is on. Inside bar served in glasses. Huge selection of soft drinks and IMPORTED spirits! Large measures of course so be careful! Also includes a cocktail menu which are made from scratch in front of you and are delicious!
SPA:- My partner and I both had massages while on our trip, despite me trying to convince him to have a Hamam (recommended on the first 2 days of trip). Both massages were glorious. Lovely masseuse and lovely room, I would say a fair/average price.
ENTERTAINMENT & STAFF:- For us, the entertainment was very meh, we only watched one show as the hotel catered a lot for Russian, Polish and Turkish guests. Totally fine with us as we had a child with us so usually fairly early nights. The kids disco and entertainment is inside at night time, this was really good however, very engaging with kids and lots of fun!
LOCATION:- The location of this hotel is in my opinion, just perfect. Whilst the beach is literally 30 second walk away from the pool, the town itself is only a 10 minute walk. Perfect strolling in the evening and easy to follow down one straight road from the hotel. The Turgetries town boasts lots of shops, bars, restaurants as well as pharmacies, McDonalds etc. They have a market on in the daytime too so perfect for all your dupes! Not too strong on the hassling front and can bargain with shop owners. Its around a 1 hour 10 minute transfer from Bodrum airport.
This is an absolutely stunning hotel in the heart of Turgetries, right on the beach, loads for families, quality food and drink, friendly staff. Can't wait to be back!
La Blanche turkey
Small area bars restaurants and shops within short walk. Hotel is big rooms not all the same. Our room was clean tidy balcony too small to sit on. Food in the main hotel as expected from an all inclusive. Snack bar was fantastic. Drinks food served by waiters on skates, order via a qr code on the table. Unlimited ice cream choices for kids. Fresh waffle station. We did a day trip which included zip lining foam party was amazing. We also got the ferry boat to kos for the day. Would recommend. Hotel overall was good. Pool freezing but the laguna was amazing
Gone down hill
My fiance and two children ( 2 years / 4 years ) just recently returned from la blanche resort.
For context, we stayed here back in 2024 and couldn't have loved it more. We rebooked for this year and to our surprise, the hotel has changed massively.
The entertainment team this year was a big let down. 2 years ago, there was a huge group who were extremely energetic and always upbeat. They used to do a dance in the morning on the bridge and would invite everyone to join in all activities. Unfortunately, I could barely make out who entertainment team was this year. The hotel have completely scrapped a perfect entertainment team for a really dull atmosphere. It's quite sad to see. I spoke to the staff and they mentioned there is new management and even they think they've ruined the hotel.
This was a huge let down for us as this was a big reason for us returning.
The only good thing this new management has probably done for the hotel is the evening entertainment. There is a large stage down the beach bar and each night is different so at least your evenings are entertaining after an average day around the pool.
Another thing that has changed is the food. The food in the main restaurant is decent and you can find an alright meal after you queue behind a bunch of people. The hotel has a beach bar which serves food by the sea most of the day. Again, 2 years ago the food down there changed every few days to bring some variety. During this stay, we found that it was the same thing every single day. From a business point of view I can see how that saves them money but as a guest it's boring.
Another thing to mention, the hotel has moved heavily towards their polish guests. It's clear that they are their target audience as majority of the hotel was polish. The whole atmosphere was completely different this year. A lot of confrontation and arrogance with the guests staying. This is also sad to see as 2 years ago it was heavily mixed with a bunch of nationalities.
One last thing we were not too pleased with was some of the staff. Don't get me wrong, majority of them are lovely but the odd few seemed fed up and annoyed when you asked for help. This is not something you expect from a 5 star hotel. Now, everyone is entitled to a bad day but when it's the same people everyday, it becomes an issue. In addition to this, a large majorty of the staff also couldn't speak English or understand it. Again, I know they're Turkish and I shouldn't exactly expect it but when they can speak fluent polish, it starts to make you think.
Overall, the hotel is a nice place to stay but I wouldn't rate it 5 stars this year. It's sad for us because we really thought this hotel would become a regular visit each year but after our last stay, we have sworn to not return.
