- Charm Beach Hotel

Wispy sand through protracted unique beach, blue flag, clean sea and untouched virgin nature in an old fishing village, this is what makes this modern hotel a great choice for a truly relaxing family holiday in the Bodrum peninsular. It is just 6 km south from Turgutreis and offers a private sandy beach, lush and well-kept lawn gardens and spacious swimming pool where guests can find some respite in the warm summer days. The comfortable rooms are furnished with top-of-the-line modern amenities and offers breath-taking views of the Aegean or the surrounding greenery. Those of the guests who are looking for some quality “Me” time can take advantage of the spa and wellness centre and pamper themselves with a soothing massage, which will help with removing the whole year's fatigue.
Unfortunately, our experience reflected many of the negative reviews already posted about this hotel. The biggest problem here is hygiene or rather the lack of it. Our room and bathroom were extremely dirty: visible mould, rusty and deteriorated fittings, stained and discoloured towels and bedding, and inadequate housekeeping. Even after repeated requests, the sink and toilet remained dirty. Housekeeping, when provided, appeared to consist mainly of mopping the floor and making the bed. The situation in the dining and bar areas was equally concerning. Dirty plates, glasses and cutlery, flies around exposed food, cats climbing onto tables, and very repetitive and often poorly prepared food. The level of hygiene was shocking. There appeared to be very little attention paid to how dishes were cleaned or to the cleanliness of the dining area itself. The property overall is tired, poorly maintained and badly in need of refurbishment. The only genuine positive is the beautiful natural setting (the beach, sea and views) which has little to do with the management or standard of the hotel itself. In my experience, this hotel is nowhere near a 4-star standard. But most importantly, basic cleanliness is not about star ratings, it is a basic requirement for guests’ hygiene, comfort and safety. What was supposed to be a relaxing holiday turned into a deeply disappointing and stressful experience.
I went to Charm Beach hotel with my mother and overall it was a great experience. The staff were very helpful although many did not speak any English at all. We found Mevlet, Tand, Yigit, and the lady at the front desk ( linguistic student, spoke very good English) to be very helpful!
The spa experience was wonderful and Mete and Naz gave both me and my mother excellent massages and Turkish bath. Thank you both!
The food was a bit disappointing overall with the exception of Turkish night when they grill chicken. The coffee also tasted like instant coffee which was also disappointing. An espresso machine or just some good regular coffee would have been nice. The deserts were delicious 😋
We never had problems reserving beach chairs or pool chairs and our room was so close to the beach and pool which was nice. WiFi and air conditioning worked great.
It was my first time in this Hotel and everything was really amazing. Sea is beautiful, food is delicious and there is always an entertainment in the evenings poolside. I highly recommend. Specially thanks to entertainment team and Mr Emre. The Barmen Yaser was so kind and thanks to all staffs.
Charm beach otel , we came herę for a week. It was very good vocation for us!!! Food - delicious Rooms - safe and clear Nice hotel with good musics.(with good polish songs).😍😉🇹🇷
Very good location, with beach very close by. Staff are nice and friendly especially Cemal, and Biyer at the bar (I may have spelt wrong). The room was very basic and the bar wasn't well stocked, with no whiskey after the first day and no cocktail menu. Overall my partner and I had a very lovely stay.
