This hotel is situated in the popular resort of Gümbet with its bars, restaurants and nightlife and overlooks Gumbet Bay. Constructed on 38,000 m2 of land, the hotel features one main building and 43 units of 2-floor blocks throughout the grounds. The private sandy beach is 200 m long and there are 2 piers as well as private pavilions for relaxation. The centre of the resort is 1.5 km away while the cosmopolitan resort of Bodrum is at 5 km and worth a visit to explore St Peter's Castle and the small alleyways crammed with shops. The resort offers a range of activities and a diverse range of wining and dining opportunities.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 5 outdoor swimming pools, a nightclub and outdoor tennis courts. This Mediterranean property also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
A Pleasant Resort, but Not Quite at the Level of a 5-Star Hotel
Accommodation: The rooms are decent, although they are less spacious than the photos on the hotel’s website might suggest. We would not recommend a double room with an extra bed, as it becomes quite cramped. The rooms could also benefit from renovation, as could the main lift. We did not use the other lifts.
The hotel consists of several villas surrounded by numerous pathways and plenty of greenery, which creates a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. However, this also comes with a few inconveniences: we had quite a lot of ants on our room terrace, as well as a fair number of mosquitoes.
Main Restaurant: The main restaurant is quite spacious considering the hotel’s capacity. The food is reasonably varied and quite tasty, with enough options to suit different preferences.
Main Pool Bar: Soft drinks are available from dispensers, while alcoholic cocktails are prepared using locally produced spirits.
Lobby Bar: The experience here is better. Imported drinks are also available if you know what to ask for. 🙂
Pools: There are enough sun loungers around the main pool, which is a big plus. The hotel also has a smaller relaxation pool, which is very pleasant and peaceful. At its bar, soft drinks are available in 250 ml bottles and beer in 330 ml bottles.
Beach: The beach is quite large and pleasant, but the entrance into the sea is rocky. We recommend bringing suitable water shoes.
Overall: It is a decent hotel with a pleasant atmosphere, reasonably good food, and beautiful outdoor areas. However, in our opinion, it does not quite live up to the expectations of a 5-star ultra all-inclusive hotel, particularly in terms of the overall standard and services.
If we were to rate it with some leniency, we would give it a maximum of 4 stars.
It is a decent choice for a holiday in Bodrum, but it is important to have realistic expectations regarding the hotel’s category and overall standard.
We come here since the year 2000. Guest Relations is always very helpfull and are there for you for whatever you want. Bade, Helen, Melike and Mahmut are amazing!!!

We had such a wonderful experience at Selectum Colours Bodrum, and a big part of that was thanks to Rihanna from the entertainment team! 🌟 Rihanna was always friendly, energetic and welcoming, and she really made an effort to get everyone involved and have a great time. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm brought such a fun atmosphere to the hotel.
She was always smiling and made us feel very comfortable from the moment we met her. You can really see how much passion she has for her job, and she definitely helped make our holiday more memorable.
A big thank you to Rihanna and the whole entertainment team keep up the amazing work! ❤️ We would be very happy to see you again!
