This hotel is situated in the popular resort of Gümbet with its bars, restaurants and nightlife and overlooks Gumbet Bay. Constructed on 38,000 m2 of land, the hotel features one main building and 43 units of 2-floor blocks throughout the grounds. The private sandy beach is 200 m long and there are 2 piers as well as private pavilions for relaxation. The centre of the resort is 1.5 km away while the cosmopolitan resort of Bodrum is at 5 km and worth a visit to explore St Peter's Castle and the small alleyways crammed with shops. The resort offers a range of activities and a diverse range of wining and dining opportunities.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 5 outdoor swimming pools, a nightclub and outdoor tennis courts. This Mediterranean property also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Stayed here for a few nights great location friendly staff. Room needs a bit of an upgrade/TLC but comfortable and clean Found the 24/7 restaurant best for breakfast and evening meal. The buffet restaurant not for me. The food area around the pool also great for food from jacket potatoes to ice cream and everything in-between loved the waffles. All inclusive plus for alcohol but only had premium drinks at lobby bar and not on show so bit poor that need to show what they have on offer premium drinks list required. Other drinks bars ok but nothing special. Overall night time entertainment we enjoyed and we will probably go again so can't be bad. Tip get your own transport to n from airport £95 return Taxi to Bodrum Harbour £7 the driver prefers cash also like euros
I stayed at Selectum Colours for a week in September / October with friends who recommended the hotel after previous visits.
The location boasted beautiful views over the Gumbet bay. The hotel is peaceful but the town can be easily reached by a 10 minute walk along the beach.
My room was on the ground floor, so no view but I had no complaints. The bed was comfortable, the mini bar was topped up daily with water, the shower was great and the housekeeping team did an excellent job cleaning every day.
In general, the hotel and grounds were very well maintained and there was always someone working on something - repainting or gardening. Everywhere was kept clean, with staff on hand to tidy any used plates or plastic into bins round the pool. Pool toilets were also impressively clean throughout the day.
I was highly impressed by the food at both the main restaurant and the pool snack areas. There was a great variety - with special mention for the salads, the breads, and the desserts. The staff were attentive and always friendly. Likewise, the bar staff were helpful and the guys at the lobby bar were a great laugh! They were also quick to learn our orders, and anticipate when we wanted another round.
We had a late night flight, so had a full day after check out. This was no issue and the team at the spa were happy to let us shower and change before we were collected for our airport transfer.
Finally, a special mention of the entertainment and animation team. The special events were great fun - the Pink Pool Party, the Millenium White Party, the Hollywood Party, and my favourite the Bohemian Party. The dancers, the lights, the props all made the nights a little bit special. (Though, after a week the music playlist was a bit repetitive!). During the day, the animation team were good fun - in particular Osmel and Rihanna. Friendly, chatty and enthusiastic. There were loads of activities for those who wanted to get involved, such as boccia, foot darts, corn ball… Thanks to Osmel and Rihanna!
This s a stunning hotel with superb views. Rooms are immaculate with a mini bar and services daily. The beach is nice and we didn’t have to fight for sun loungers which was a dream! The sea wad clear and there were many fish swimming about in the shallows, Cabanas are also available but come at an extra cost. The food was incredible, a huge selection and varied. The salads were amazing and such care taken with presentation. The restaurant staff were very friendly but the service at the bars would benefit from a friendlier approach. We felt ignored on occasions. The animation team were great and offered a variety of activities such as water gym, zumba and archery. There is a lovely coffee/cake bar on the top floor at reception which we highly recommend, evening entertainment was very good and we loved the White Party, (you do not have to wear white though some did), and a dance show. The staff throughout the hotel (apart from the odd one or two at the bars) were exceptional and did their best to help us. Overall a beautiful hotel, plenty to do with amazing food!
Lovely staff who are very attentive, the facilities and food are top notch. This holiday has been amazing, we'll be coming back next year 👍 guest relations Sadiye has really looked after us, as has everyone in the hotel.
We had such a fantastic experience at Selectrum Colours Bodrum, and a huge part of that was thanks to Rihanna from the animation team! 🌟 Rihanna was absolutely wonderful — friendly, energetic, fun, and always smiling. She went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and involved, and her positive energy really brought the atmosphere to life. She was especially great with the guests and made sure everyone was having a good time.
Her enthusiasm, kindness, and professionalism really stood out, and she is a real credit to the animation team. Thank you, Rihanna, for helping make our holiday so memorable! ❤️
We would definitely recommend Selectrum Colours Bodrum, and we hope to see Rihanna again on our next visit! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
