The hotel is located on the beach in the centre of Gumbet with local transport passing in front of the property on a regular basis and a taxi stand situated nearby. The cosmopolitan resort of Bodrum, with its large yacht marina and the impressive St Peter's Castle, are both approximately 3 km away and are definitely worth a visit. There are numerous restaurants, bars, clubs and shops not far from the establishment. Two family-run hotels are combined and operating as a single complex. Their facilities include a common dining room, a charming café and a la carte restaurant. There is a good selection of sports and recreation activities and the complex also offers wireless Internet access in the lobby area. The rooms have tiled floors and are equipped with a satellite TV and individually regulated air conditioning.

Absuletly amazing 🫶
This was truly the best holiday ever! The atmosphere was so lovely and friendly, and the team working here is simply amazing — they make every guest feel special. The food was outstanding, with countless options to choose from, plus two private restaurants and delicious bites available at any time of the day. The entertainment clubs kept the energy high and unforgettable, while the location itself is absolutely adorable. A perfect combination of comfort, joy, and beauty — I couldn’t have asked for more! I would like to big thanks to Özge and Yılmaz as they manage to entertainment amazing 💐
Not a family hotel
The first thing I will say about this hotel is it’s not a family hotel, it’s in the middle of a party area and there is loud thumping music until 3 am, then you get all the crowds and the guests returning back to their rooms drunk and making loads of noise.
The hotel itself is nice but the main pool cozy beach is not in the hotel you have to walk onto the beach to the pool, which is quite annoying.
There were no daily activities during the day like exercise classes or anything like that. The kids club is nice, but again there’s no real activities. You just have to entertain yourself.
The food is really, really nice, lots of variety and very tasty, but you are rushed. I was eating my breakfast and had my mouthful of food and one of the waiters came over to me and said we’re cleaning up this area.
But in general, even at dinner time because the dinner is 730 to 9, it’s very rushed and you cannot enjoy the food. They are constantly cleaning up around you and there’s so many staff running around you. It just feels really hectic. If they made the timings longer like maybe 7 pm to 9.30pm it may feel less busy.
The staff seem nice, but they don’t know any English so it’s impossible to communicate with them. The guests are mainly german and Turkish some English too, but they don’t really interact and the vibe is just a bit off as u cannot communicate. When I’ve stayed in other five star resorts in turkey is just a nicer atmosphere and nicer people.
So overall, I think the hotel is in a good location for partying and has great food but I wouldn’t recommend it as a relaxing family hotel.
A fantastic holiday
We had a brilliant holiday at the Parkim Ayaz Hotel. The complex is very clean, well looked after, and features three great pools that never felt overly crowded. Our room was functional, clean, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A huge highlight was the hotel staff, who genuinely made our trip feel special - a special mention to Fahab for his warm welcome every mealtime, as well as Burak and Ali for their friendliness, service and attention to detail.
The food throughout our stay was excellent and varied. There was a great selection of drinks alongside decent all-inclusive cocktails, The private beach directly in front of the hotel is clean with clear water and plenty of loungers, though bringing pool shoes for the pebbly seabed. We would happily return!

Honest review of a friendly hotel
A nice family friendly hotel. The food was varied and plentiful with a huge choice, buffet food never runs low and I regularly topped up so I’d advise eating evening meal around 8.30pm to avoid the busiest time. At 7.30 it is very busy, but the staff do their best to manage this. All staff are absolutely amazing and go out of their way to help in any way they can, we found nothing was too much trouble. My partner told a few guests off for unnecessary rudeness to the staff. They’re there trying to do a job and do not deserve to be spoken to rudely.
It’s clean and well maintained and following a recent merging of two hotels you can see where new areas have been created. They’re immaculate and stand out from other hotel areas. The grounds are lovely.
Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and loads on the beach if you miss out on a pool spot. We mainly spent time at the family pool with slide and didn’t find it too overwhelming or crowded. The beach is gorgeous and can recommend the water sports company.
The area in general was nice, it felt a safe place for families and while there are a few loud bars close to the hotel we weren’t bothered by the local nightlife in any way.
The hotel entertainment in the evening was okay, mainly dancers of varying themes. Some were better than others. There’s a kids disco with the same nightly songs and dance routines which we started to avoid as it was too young for our 11 year old and got very tedious quickly.
The only negative was the room size. It was very small for three people and we struggled with space for suitcases and felt very short of any level of additional room. It was hard to all get ready and we spent as little time as possible in the room. I’d advise checking this if you’re a family and pay a little extra for an upgrade on a room you won’t regret it.
Great family holiday in a fantastic location!
We stayed at Parkim Ayaz for 10 days this month and loved the hotel and all it had to offer. The location is great with the main strip to the front of the hotel and the private beach to the rear. We were suprised just how quiet the rooms were once the patio door is closed so don't worry about the vicinity to the main strip at all! There are 3 great pools to choose from: The bubble pool, the ladybird/slide pool and the Cozzy Bar pool. The latter two have swim up bars too.The lifeguards are great with the kids! We never had any issues getting a sunbed around 7am. The food and service is great at the main restaurant (Murat the manager always sorted us a table and remembered our drinks order daily) snack bars & waffle/icecream stands. The bar staff work really hard and were great at making non-alcoholic versions of the numerous cocktails for the kids. We stayed in a modernised room in one of the blocks facing the Cozzy Bar/pool with an amazing sea view. The room was spacious and bright (1128 for anyone wanting to request one similar) The staff, cleaners and gardeners work around the clock to keep the hotel grounds and accomodation clean and beautifully presented. We found that the daytime entertainment in the Cozzy pool and bar were great but felt the evening external entertainment wasn't always great (with the exception of the brazillian dancers and the break dancers- who were fantastic) but we chose to explore the main strip as an alternative and really enjoyed the variety of bars near the hotel. We used Billy/ Bülant's on the beach for watersports and boat trips and couldn't fault any of our experiences.
All in we would 100% return and recommend Parkim Ayaz to others.
