Beautiful Sea, Spotless Rooms and Great Service

Our overall experience at the resort was just above average, with several aspects that genuinely stood out and a few areas that I believe could be improved.

What we loved

The sea was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. It was beautiful, crystal clear, and very clean, making the beach one of our favorite places to spend time.

However, what impressed us the most was the service. The staff at the beach bar, lounge, and restaurant were incredibly friendly, communicative, attentive, and always smiling. I would especially like to mention Enes Abi, who deserves special recognition for his excellent service and positive attitude. The staff consistently did their best to make us feel comfortable and well looked after.

Another strong point was cleanliness. Our room was spotless throughout our stay, and the minibar was replenished every day. The common areas around the resort were also always clean and well maintained.

The reception and guest relations teams were very helpful as well. They were always willing to answer our questions and assist us whenever we needed something. We also appreciated that the staff generally spoke understandable English, which made communication very easy throughout our stay.

What could be improved

The main area I would suggest improving is food variety. Although there were different options, the food felt repetitive during our stay. It would be great to have themed dinner nights, such as Italian, Turkish, Mexican, seafood, etc. An outdoor grill or barbecue station would also be a fantastic addition.

The biggest weakness for us, however, was entertainment.

There were very few organized activities or events during our stay. Considering the amount of space available at the resort, I was surprised that there were no regular activities such as volleyball, pool events, evening shows, late-night entertainment, or dedicated shows for children.

There were also no real parties or special events around the pool. I believe having a professional animation and entertainment team could make a significant difference. It would bring more energy to the resort and make the experience much more enjoyable, particularly for guests staying for a week or longer. Without activities, the days can become somewhat repetitive.

This is not simply a matter of personal preference. I am comparing the experience with other similar resorts I have stayed at, including La Blanche Island, Mövenpick, and RAI Premium Tekirova, where the entertainment and activity programs were considerably more developed.

Final thoughts

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the beautiful sea, excellent service, cleanliness, and friendly staff were definitely the strongest points of the resort.

With more variety in the food and, most importantly, a much stronger entertainment and activities program, I believe this resort could significantly improve the overall guest experience and move from just above average to truly exceptional.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mirada Exclusive Bodrum and will 100% be back.

The hotel genuinely has every possible vibe you could want from a holiday. There’s the upbeat, lively sea deck with music and atmosphere, a beautiful calm and tranquil pool area, live entertainment, and plenty of space. It’s large enough that you can be as social as you like, but equally you can find a quiet spot and completely switch off. It really does cater for everyone.

The food was outstanding throughout our stay. The Greek restaurant in particular was such a beautiful experience — gorgeous food, a lovely setting and absolutely incredible staff who could not have done more for us. It was one of those evenings where everything just came together perfectly.

But what really made this holiday special were the people.

Akbota from Guest Services* deserves a very special mention. She is quite simply an absolute credit to Mirada. From the moment we met her she was so warm, welcoming and genuinely interested in making sure we were having a wonderful time. I don’t think we ever saw her simply sitting behind a desk — she was constantly out and about, talking to guests, checking everyone was happy and looking for ways she could help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. She has such a lovely energy about her and made us feel incredibly welcome.

And then there is Much hit who looked after us every day on the beach deck. What an absolute superstar.He is genuinely one of the hardest working people we have come across. From drinks to crisps, nuts, strawberries and everything in between, he seemed to anticipate what we might want before we’d even asked! He simply did not stop all day, yet somehow always had a smile on his face and made us feel so well looked after.

It’s people like Akbota and Mucahit who turn a lovely hotel into somewhere you remember and want to return to. I really hope Mirada knows how lucky they are to have people like them representing the hotel, because they made our days that little bit more special and were a huge part of why we enjoyed our holiday so much.

Even my two very minor first -world problems were dealt with brilliantly! I couldn’t get the air conditioning working & entirely user error 😂 and then we ran out of hair conditioner.On both occasions someone was at our room within minutes to sort it out.That level of service really sums up our experience.

The gym is fantastic, the spa was fantastic, the setting is beautiful, the food is exceptional and the service has been wonderful.

A huge thank you to the entire Mirada team, and especially Akbota and Mucahit (müco) for looking after us so incredibly well.You really did make our holiday.
