Duja Didim

Hotel visually looks brilliant but stay away from the family village rooms. They are tiny. No storage for clothes and you have to live out your suitcase. Poor really for the price you pay. The air con in the village rooms is also very poor so be prepared to sit in a sweat box. Food is ok but very repetitive and very often visited by the local flies. Evening entertainment is average and pretty much finishes by 11pm. Overall not worth the money.

Eight of us stayed at Duja Didim for 11 nights in July/August 2026 (4 adults and 4 children, aged 4, 6, 8 and 9). We arrived late at night and first impressions of the hotel were great. We were greeted by helpful staff who helped us to our room, and we were able to have a "midnight meal" which was a nice touch. We had asked for two rooms near to each other, and that's exactly what we we were given (directly opposite each other) - both were in the main building and one had a pool and sea view, and the other had a view over the waterpark.

The rooms were spacious enough, beds were comfy, mini fridge was stocked (and re-stocked several times throughout the holiday). Rooms were cleaned and fresh towels provided every day, and the cleaners were very polite and helpful. Pool towels were provided and it was easy to change them for fresh ones each day between 8am-6pm.

The main restaurant was great - staff were very helpful and food was freshly cooked. There was always plenty of choice for everyone. Once we figured out the busiest times (particularly 7-7.30pm) we avoided those. We tried to eat either before or after the rush. Breakfast omelettes were gorgeous! My children loved the waffles which are available 12-4pm. We ate in the Chinese restaurant one night, which was also really nice. The highlight was the flaming ice cream - best desert we've ever had, I'll never forget that!

The waterpark is great. My boys loved the green and yellow slides and the dragon slide (when it was open - it had to close often due to the wind). It felt safe and well ran - there was always a staff member at the top of the slides and one at the bottom. It was open between 10am and 5pm each day, and you could come and go as you please.

The entertainment was good - there was a variety for all ages. My boys just wanted to play football with the other kids, though. This was something they did every evening, and seems like it's a regular thing that kids organise themselves every night after the mini disco. It's lovely watching them all socialising and playing together, regardless of any language barriers. My little girl loved the mini disco, and so did I! Brilliant music and dancing for all ages.

The beach by the hotel is gorgeous. It's a shingle beach so beach shoes are a good idea, but once in the water it's soft sand. The water sports are brill! Two of our party did paragliding and two went on a jetski.

The pools are cold but great - main pool is huge. The only thing I was surprised about is it's 150cm deep all the way around, and being 5ft 2 I could only just touch the floor with a tip toe! This meant that my 6 year old had to wear arm bands as he's not a confident swimmer. However, he got sick of the armbands and learnt to swim confidently without, which was amazing as he's been having lessons at home for 3 years and all of a sudden he could swim like a fish in this pool!

As with lots of family hotels in the height of summer, sunbeds were difficult to get. We had to be down there early on a morning to make sure we got some. There were plenty of umbrellas for shade (needed it in the 36 degrees heat!). The pool bar was fab. Queues were not bad at all which was surprising given that it was school holidays!

We didn't use the spa but did go down there on the last day for a shower as our flights were late in the evening and check out is 12pm. It looked and smelled lovely down there!

All staff were very helpful but one in particular, Ihsan, was a diamond. He went above and beyond for us. Anything we needed, Ihsan was on it. We formed a lovely friendship and will always remember him.

Overall, this was a wonderful stay. We would not hesitate to return to Duja Didim. The kids are already asking to go back next year. Our first experience of Turkey, and certainly won't be our last!

Firstly i would like to express my gratitude to every single worker in this hotel. We were a family of 11 with 4 children and stayed for 14 days. The staff were absolutely amazing with their help and friendly attitude. I would like to give a special thanks to the food and beverage manager mr Uzeyir who was very caring and helpful throughout out whole stay he works very professional and has a great attitude towards his job. I would also like to thank mr ismail , aleyma and all the starf who was working at the guest relations Department they were extremely helpful and caring. We had a few minor issues which were dealt with in piece thanks to the amazing staff. I would alsonlike that o say The animation team deserve a special thank you as they were working so hard day and night to entertain both adults and children their hard work was not unseen. The aqua splash pool was the highlight for the children. I must say it was a great experience for us all and i cant find no fault in the hotel. Thank you duja for a great experience
