This year we were for the sixth time in this hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff very helpfull en friendly. The food was delicious and there was a lot off choise. The rooms need an upgrade. Next year we will come to this hotel for the seventhe time.
10 night stay 24 September 2026 Easy jet . My second visit to this hotel under another new name previously Bodrum Voyage and Prive . Rooms small dated and in need of updating but very clean and beds comfortable, Some nights were very noisy even well after 12pm . Views from room 610 was very good . Staff were very good and friendly. We had private transportation which was superb . The Hotel lacked any atmosphere in both bars , lobby and entertainment bar with absolutely no entertainment during our visit which was disappointing. Great location bit hilly and plenty of steps inside hotel , lifts available busy at peak times , Beach area and sun beds also dated require updating and improving . Coffee area on beach also needs upgrading. Boat taxi into Bodrum very good 200 lire per person and very quick efficient service . Food was not great and mostly cold and luke warm in both main restaurant and beach restaurant , not really suited to UK visitors and many complaints about food were registered especially being cold , Toaster in mornings was really poor 5/6 times you had to put through continually this is not acceptable. Al a carte restaurant was also not brilliant service was very good food not up too scratch and limited choice. Drinks were good but Hotel failed to keep bottled beer cold again old cooling cabinets and outdated cooling systems didn’t help beers put in ice buckets not the same . Many guests return year after year personally I can’t see why but it’s all about opinions, many guests are older generation and look for quiet nights and early to bed and down at 7 am to get a good bed at the pool area were service was good with cold beers to boot at the pool bar . Not the hotel it was previously unfortunately in my opinion and I am well traveled in Turkey 🇹🇷 2 holidays every year . Great staff and management staff and main managers. Superb views and location but unfortunately I won’t return regards Peter Conlon
CONS No phone policy by the 'beach' isn't adhered to or managed. Some staff would approach guests playing videos/ articles without headphones, others would ignore it. Entertainment started at 10pm and went on quite late, followed by other hotel music in Turkish in the early hours. I think we got 1 good nights sleep each. Children's hotel and children's disco music right next door Smoking in the snack bar when eating. As a woman from the UK, I was ignored by the bar staff who served 2 Turkish people and 2 Russians before me. No info on the local area. No rep. No menus in the snack bar mean ing you need to take your phone everywhere. For me, part of the holiday is to leave the phone in the room. Two massive dirty handprints on a bath towel. Dirty cleaning cloth left in room Not really a beach. Just a board walk with some shingle. Definitely not like the photos. PROS Ahmet serving drinks at the 'beach'. Food in the snack bar good. Boat ride to Bodrum. Views of the castle. Paid extra for a sea room. It was a stunning view and we would have been very disappointed with a standard room where everyone's rinsed underwear was on show in the open corridor!
Not the quality we were expecting for the money we paid. Cant see why the reviews are so good?
5th time back at agaya in 2 years and have booked up again for next year Love this hotel!food and drink is excellent, staff are so friendly and helpful, The hotel is spotless inside and out,we love this hotel as its not huge and everything is a short walk to get to,location is perfect with lovely views of bodrum,its our happy place and can't wait till next year 5 stars always 😊
We have just returned from this hotel, The veiws are amazing, The staff are attentive and so friendly, the food at the beach bar is lovely, the only negative is the awful piano bar music the play in the buffet restaurant and lounge area,, the rooms are quite basic but clean, id definitely recommend a seaview room, even though we were overlooking a derelict hotel( room319) the water taxi into Bodrum is a godsend because there is nothing around the hotel, you can walk into Bodrum centre in around 15 minutes and its all downhill, then get a taxi boat back,, we would return to this hotel x
