Vikingen Infinity Resort and Spa

We normally go Greece but decided on a change well we were so wrong! Rooms was dirty see photo attached marks on bedding up walls and stains on carpets and cushions. Food was poor quality over quality! Chips chips chips!! And Brussels sprouts for breakfast! Don’t expect any bacon. Ice cream only available 1 hour of the day. Soa nice but after your taken to an office telling you have issues and need 3-5 more sessions costing hundreds! Everyone wants cash English dollar euro they don’t care they don’t want lira and charge u to use cards. Fist fights in kids area between guests. Sunbeds get taken from 7am so you have search for some then likely people take them while you swimming. I had a guys laying on my towel and my sons top and argued it was his bed! And a Turkish lady took my sunbed through my stuff and shouted at me waving her hand phish phish to me leaving us with no sunbed. It’s not clear when activities are on your lucky to be there when something happens. Music at main pool so loud it’s not relaxing. Too much food options be better quality people waste soooo much food it’s discusting! And water is in small plastic cartons and so much plastic waste it’s insane! Evening entrainment is at 10.15pm which after a long day and having to get up at 7 to get beds is too late! Bigger finishes 9pm so you have to wait about in extreme heat for that and falling asleep we only made it one night and it was some kids dancing from what looks like a local dance school so wasn’t good at all unless your their parents. Checking out wasn’t helpful we told to put bags in a bag room in car park that wasn’t secure and boiling hot! No locker to secure valuables in while waiting for flight and wouldn’t allow late check out even if we paid. Around sunbeds loads fags on floor especially at the activity pool. To access the best pool and kids area is a bridge in the heat over a major road up and down stairs or a small hot lift. It’s such a walk in the heat. This hotel is not 5 star I’ve been to 5 star they don’t charge for WiFi they wait on you hand and foot for a free for all! The buffet was so busy people walk into you and knock you flying like you’re not even there! Men don’t speak to women nice they staff would shake even my sons hand and avoided me! Seems to be the culture! Always addresses my husband but I was paying and booked the holiday!! Never returning they need to read reviews and fix tiles and the rooms and they need to clean areas better around pools and re address the food offer ice cream at dinner and remove a lot of the food to stop waste!

Despite what some reviews say, we went with it and couldn't be happier. The rooms are clean and air conditioned, the facilities are immense and there is a vast number of pools and bars and food options. They even have on tap iced coffees! The water parks are brilliant, the sea is clear and warm, I cannot fault one single bit of the resort, the staff the food the pools anything, all amazing
