Selene Beach & Spa is located 105 km to Antalya Airport, 65 km to Alanya - Gazipaşa Airport, 22 km to Alanya and 2 km from Avsallar. Our hotel is near the sea, our beach is within an ancient port dating from 200 BC.
Our facility has 199 standard rooms, 2 accesible rooms, 3 Suite rooms, a total of 204 rooms. In our rooms everything has been considered for the comfort and convenience of you and your family and prepared with modern design. All rooms are equipped with shower, WC, shower, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, minibar, air conditioning, free safe, TV / satellite music channels, free wireless internet, balcony.
Our hotel has one main restaurant and A'la Carte Restaurant. Pool Bar, Lobby Bar and Beach Bar are available to our guests.

We travelled to this hotel September 26, and first had an unpleasant encounter after a long 2 hr transfer with the bus driver demanding a tip as he had a family to feed! We flustered around for money to give him but decided not to give him anything as he was refusing to take our luggage off the bus until we gave him money, so we removed our bags ourselves. Unfortunately, this was the start of how our holiday was going to pan out as we then went on to encounter problems with one of our rooms. After booking in at reception we all headed to our rooms, there was 9 of us as we were celebrating my friends birthday which meant a room of 3 and 3 rooms of 2. The party of 3 had room 625 which was supposed to be a room with 2 singles and a “sofa bed”, on entering the room the first thing you notice is the open plan layout with no toilet door so make sure you don’t mind seeing your friends on the loo, next is a small corridor leading to the bedroom which had a wardrobe partition leading to the “sofa bed” which in fact is not a sofa bed but a sofa and not a bed of any description, it was also not made up for my friend to sleep on so she had no bedding, no pillow etc, she did try and address this at reception and was told she would need to wait until 8am even though the hotel later stated housekeeping was 24hrs. The sofa was an L shaped sofa with a gap where the two sections joined which would make it extremely difficult for anyone to get comfortable lying on, it was a fixed bottom cushion so you wouldn’t of been able to attach a sheet to it either, personally I would not recommend anyone book as a party of 3 if expecting to have a bed to sleep on or any type of comfortable sleeping arrangement as you will be very disappointed, we obviously tried to address this with the hotel staff customer service Ayensue and Tui rep Max but they seemed to think this was an acceptable sleeping space for 5 star hotel, which leads to the fact that we didn’t agree and if we wanted to sleep in what I would describe as sofa surfing we wouldn’t of paid £1000 to do so. I think for future reference Tui needs to ensure they don’t mislead people with the description of the accommodation they are offering and that the hotel needs to consider whether the settee that does not convert into a bed can be considered a suitable sleeping space for an adult to sleep on paying full price. As for the rest of the hotel, the inside was kept really nice and food in the restaurant was good but repetitive. The outside area is very overcrowded for the size of the pool and is extremely busy. The beach is shingle and a bit grubby with various dubious things floating in the sea, it’s overcrowded and split into allocated areas for different hotels. The outcome, it’s not the worst hotel I’ve been to but it’s certainly not the best and would not be going back.
This hotel is certainly not a 4* plus, if you want a sun bed you have to get up as early as 7am otherwise the beds are gone, if you are lucky to get a bed you are like sardines, the pool area and bar areas including the tiny beach is dirty also you can not get a lounger on the beach. the food ok and was plenty to choose from. smoking is all over the hotel and grounds no designated areas, your tea coffee etc in rooms are not filled up, if you were to travel in a 3 BEWARE THE 3RD BED SETTEE THEY ARE ADVERTISING IS A SETTEE THAT DOES,NT CONVERT INTO A BED ITS A SETTEE , when speaking to TUI rep was told the defination of sofa bed is a settee would never return to this hotel

ng transfer from airport so would suggest private transfer. Hotel itself is clean and tidy, staff mostly friendly except the grumpy one on reception when we arrived- and no map of the ground or where to find your way around. Our room was initially on the first floor with No view other than the shop and apartments apposite and adding to the traffic nighttime noise was from the machines cleaning the marble floors below. I would advise avoid lower floors if you can they are very very noisy so we upgraded to a suit on the 6th floor- beautiful views. There is NO mini bar in the rooms, unless you count X2 small cans of coke and tango- and this should be removed from the description. The down side throughout is that the walls are paper thin- you can hear everything- including the couple having sex next door and I don’t just mean the vocal noise, slapping of bodies together should not be easily heard- through walls. Grounds are well kept and the hotel Is clean and tidy. Food so far is excellent, good choice.
