Eftalia Village

We are a party of 7 who arrived on the 1st of August. Since then 5 of us have had sickness and diarrhoea, my daughter had to go to hospital where she was placed on a drip and was there for 2 days. Spoke to our holiday rep who was next to useless and trying to play things down saying that the amount of complaints were minimal. I then asked to Speak to a manager who stated that he had been brought in deal with all the complaints, obviously a contradiction to what was said by the rep! There is now another holiday rep manager at the hotel who is quite patronising and making out that there is nothing wrong! I have witnessed several people being sick in front of me by the pool, a couple of times the pool Has had to be closed for the day due to someone being ill in the pool, and I also walked past a large pool of sick on the main walk way, Both my two grandchildren are scared to eat at the hotel for fear of being sick and want to go home. Collectively we have lost around 9 days of our holiday. I have recorded a complaint on site and I have also emailed our holiday providers complaints department direct. A what’s app group has been set up and there are around 40 families on it all with several members of the same family being ill. All This has occurred during our stay at the resort, there are other reports going back to July that this issue was apparent at the hotel

From the moment of arrival being greeted and luggage taken to our room we knew it would be a great stay.The room was super clean with ample towels and great air conditioning at 39 degrees😁.The food was great always an amazing selection of British and local dishes as well a range of amazing desserts.The entertainment was good every night with great staff.The drinks were weak but you always expect that at a lot of all inclusive holiday places.The Turkish bath and massage were amazing and a good price compared to to the UK.No rush for sunbeds and could always find them available any time of day.Overall a lovely holiday with attentive staff always happy to help so thanks to all at Eftalia Village .

We stayed at Eftalia village for 10 days at the end of July. On the 3rd day my youngest child came down with sickness and diarrhea, he was really poorly and was sick constantly all night. On the last night before going home, my eldest son came down with the same thing, but he was so poorly he was admitted into hospital on a drip. This was obviously very distressing and not what you want on a holiday you’ve worked all year to pay for!!! We weren’t the only ones, there were about 30 other guests all from Eftalia village, really sick and in hospital!! There were ambulances outside the hotel, and a nurse from the hospital based in reception, IT WAS THAT BAD!!!! My husband had to get antibiotics once home for infections in both ears! Really not worth it! If you google the hotel you’ll see this isn’t the first time! Rancid hovel of a place!
