Unfortunately, our stay at Eftalia Village was extremely disappointing. Never going back there and Would not RECOMMEND anyone to go there. If I could rate 0 I would have rated that.
We booked and paid for specific accommodation, but on arrival we were given a connecting family room with two bedrooms and only one bathroom between them.
I had recently undergone major surgery, and the room arrangement was very difficult for me physically and mentally. Another member of our group also has a serious medical condition requiring frequent and sometimes urgent access to a toilet, so sharing one bathroom caused significant problems and distress.
The room also had no TV, no telephone, no fridge, no safe, and only one A/C control between the two rooms.
Also In two separate occasions I found Lizards in our room.
We spent two days asking reception to move us to the room we had actually booked, but unfortunately the staff were rude and dismissive despite us explaining our circumstances.
This situation completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday and caused a great deal of stress and distress.
I am sharing our experience so other travellers can make an informed decision before booking Eftalia Village , particularly anyone traveling with medical needs
Burak was very accommodating and friendly, he made the trip really good. Hotel was good and cleaner was very accommodating. Was all inclusive with food, ok but would have preferred to go out to eat.
Decent amenities but frustrating extra charges and upsells We recently stayed at Eftalia Village for a family holiday. The resort has some great features, especially the pool areas and the waterslides, which kept the kids thoroughly entertained throughout the trip. The entertainment team also worked hard to keep everyone upbeat.
However, we were quite disappointed by the hidden costs and constant pushing for extras despite booking an all-inclusive package. Upon arrival, we were immediately asked to pay extra to upgrade our rooms, which felt like an unnecessary upsell right at the start of our holiday. Furthermore, we were frustrated to find out we had to pay extra for basic items, such as fresh orange juice at breakfast, which should easily be included in an all-inclusive stay. Having to constantly pull out your wallet for small extras and upgrades really takes away from the relaxing, hassle-free experience you expect.
Overall, it is a fun place for children, but the management needs to focus more on hospitality and be more transparent about what is actually included in the price
Great family holiday, but the all-inclusive could be better We had a lovely 9-night family stay and overall really enjoyed our holiday. There was a great variety of entertainment for all ages, and our personal favourite was the evening entertainment on the island — definitely worth experiencing! The hotel staff were friendly and hardworking, and the cleanliness was one of the highlights. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and even some lovely towel designs left on the bed. The rooms are a little dated and could do with some TLC, but they were very clean. The restaurant was also kept very clean, with staff constantly restocking food and cleaning tables, floors and food areas. The main downside for us was the food. There wasn't a huge variety and it became quite repetitive. We stayed for 9 days and had sushi around 6 times, so we would have appreciated more variety. Also, orange juice at breakfast was an additional €2, which was disappointing for an all-inclusive stay. We were also surprised by how the all-inclusive drinks worked. Although there are several bars around the hotel, most only serve beer and soft drinks. For cocktails or something like rum and Coke, you have to go to one particular bar at the other end of the island. Ice cream was also only available at a specific location. Overall, a good family-friendly hotel with fantastic entertainment and very clean facilities. Just be aware that the rooms are dated, the food can be repetitive, and the all-inclusive package isn't quite as inclusive as we expected.
Fantastic hotel for kids, very friendly and kind staff! Foods great, something for everyone even fussy eaters. Never any sunbed wars! Overall a fab holiday and would come back ☺️
