Well what can be said about Eftalia Marin other than it's incredible!!! Second year in a row that our family has been to this amazing hotel. From the moment we stepped into the lobby we were treated with a smile and a warm welcome. From when we checked in then the porter remembered us from last year and gave us a big hug and some drinks. The rooms are a good size with options of upgrading to swim up pools if you fancy it. There is a huge diversity of guests from all over the world who also seek out the Eftalia experience in all its glory. The hotel offers a wide range of food, snacks and drinks as part of the all inclusive experience. For those of you who like to soak in lots of different cuisine then the buffet style restaurant is the way to with over 70 different types of local and Mediterranean foods. Each day offers a different theme and the chefs are fantastic and happy to help with any advice regarding ingredients etc. two of the restaurant staff I would like to single out are Çigdem and Naz who could not have been more helpful and consistently gave us table service with our drinks. There is also a 24 HR pool snack bar offering burgers chips chicken kebabs, salads and pizza. This area also has a bar for you to have a nice relaxing drink. Of course a holiday wouldn't be a holiday without a lovely cocktail. All the drinks are reasonably priced and served by some of the most friendly staff in the resort a big thank you to Hüseyin (bossman)Hüseyin, Yusuf (amazing service and great attention to detail regarding the needs of his clients), Munis who never seems to stop smiling and is always on the go which brings me to the final bar staff member Mehmet who has been a huge part of making our holiday experience so wonderful and is always welcome to come for holiday to UK and stay with us.
The two pools are of a nice size and both managed by life guards. One is located on ground floor near the entrance this is a quieter place with a pool bar serving beer and soft drinks for those who want to relax in the sun. The other is the main fun pool suitable for all ages who like to have a lively time, with music pumped through speakers and has multiple snack areas next to it.
This is also where the fabulous animation team are predominantly based. Huge shout out to Zeynep, Cengiz, ilayda and the Boss esma. I truly do not know where they get all there energy from but they are some of the best people we have ever met at a resort. Activities are spread out throughout the day (pls see pictures below). I can't wait to return to the summer gang and there positive vibes in the future in the meantime we wish them the best of luck with all future endeavours. Within the hotel there are arcades, pool tables, a gym hotel spa offering a wide range of treatments and also the sauna and steam room are accessible for free for 6hrs a day. Obviously shopping around is also a good reason to come to Turkey and near the hotel there are many shop, outlet centres, bars and pubs within walking distance of the hotel (5/10) mins walk away. On Sundays there is also a huge market so make sure you know how to haggle and bring plenty of water as it is like a sauna inside the market. However I found the best deals were actually downstairs in the hotel (see pics) Ozzy and Ali are fantastic with great quality clothes and more than happy to barter the price for the best deals.
If you are in need of some pampering then I highly recommend a Turkish shave and haircut all done at great price of 35 euros (I was in the chair for a hour and a half and came out feeling so relaxed. If you have any issues or need any advice on your trip then go visit the customer relations team on ground floor where iremsu and nevse Can give you all the information regarding the hotel and all that it offers. They also went the extra mile for both mine and my sons birthdays. When we returned to the room there was a lovely fruit bowl, a bottle of wine and a birthday cake.
