Hotel Side Star Beach is located at the historical town of Side, 30 km from the old roman amphitheatre of Aspendos, 65 km to the International Airport Antalya and 70 km from the city centre of Antalya. The hotel is situated directly at the sandy beach of Side.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Great location. We had to change rooms due to noise made by the animation team, so lound even with balcony doors closed. This is a predominantly German hotel hardly any english speaking staff and no Jet2 rep onsite. On several occasions we had queued for seating at the outside Costal Kitchen and the staff seated Germans before us despite the fact that they had come later. The food was awful, very poor quality overall and very repetitive I wouldnevergo back to this so called 5 star hotel. We stayed at the Raga hotel in June 2026 (just a little ways from this place) and it was great, staff and food on a completely different level. If you want a great care free hotel with great staff and good food than stay at the Raga not here. The attached photos show the Italian Al a carte restaurant on site. The soup was supposed to be minestrone but was basically water with under cooked veg and the main dish was risotto with black truffle, it was in fact closer to a rice pudding mush which had melted butter poured over it, completely inedible.
Great location with lovely sandy beach on doorstep. Very pleasant easy walk into Side. All public areas and room are kept very clean. Lovely room with comfortable bed and plenty hot water for shower. We had a problem with the television one day and someone came up to sort it within 10 minutes of letting them know. Slight negative-I would say that food in the main buffet dining area could be hotter.
There were very few visitors from the United Kingdom while we were there and although we found other nationalities it did feel they were mainly German holiday makers. The staff work very hard and are a credit to the hotel and the effort they put in for the Oktoberfest was unbelievable. (I was disappointed that the lady over the animation team chose not to ask if there was anyone there from the United Kingdom or England when she mentioned so many other countries at the evening entertainment on more than one occasion).
I celebrated my birthday while I was there and would like to say a very big thank you for all the effort the hotel went to, to make my celebrations so special.
Had fabulous stay at this beautiful hotel All areas kept extremely clean and beautiful old town and beach on door step Lunchtime restaurants food freshly cooked and delicious, same in à la carte restaurants with great friendly service Umit in bar made our experience even better such a lovely friendly man and also Ayetkin who was friendly and attentive Other staff also very friendly can’t remember all names Only downside evening/daytime entertainment mostly for German clientele which I understand as clients from UK in minority but we would still return and recommend Just one other negative even though it was stated that sunbeds should not be reserved they were both round the pool and on the beach and very early at least 6am
This hotel is as close to perfect as you will get. The location is great. 10 minutes walk from the old ruins. 1 minute from your room to the sandy beach. The entertainment team are awesome and they get to know your name so the personal touch is there too. I can’t recommend it enough !
Animation with Fatih was super. Further on Nice friemdly people.
