Loved the place would come back again cleaning very good food soso entertaining team very good

Just returned home from our 3rd visit here in the last 3 years. We travelled with our two daughters (11 & 7) & we still love this hotel as much as we did the first time we visited back in 2024.

Food / Drink Always plenty to choose from, always hot and tasty. The girls who did the omelettes / eggs in the morning were brill. The Turkish themed nights were my favourite, the food was so nice! We used the aqua park restaurant for lunch most days, mainly due to ease with the children - they did burgers, chips, pizza, rice, pasta, salads, fresh fruit and desserts. We booked the La Sera a la carte restaurant one evening whilst there (which is the aqua park restaurant) and the food was delicious. Better choices of wines too, highly recommend booking whilst you're there.

All of the bar staff were friendly, but a special shout out to Ercan who worked at the main pool bar during the day. He was always happy and easy to have a laugh with, he was our favourite by far!

Entertainment Both of our children loved the kids club, Anya was always so lovely. They didn't go everyday (too busy jumping in and out of the pool) but there was always something fun to do. They did t shirt painting, cookie making, bracelet & mask making whilst there. During the day, me and my husband always joined in on the daily darts / air rifle games. Koray does an amazing job engaging with all the guests and making the activities fun. Ismail & Fatma were always very lovely too and it was nice to see their smiling faces around the pool during the day.

Location The is 5 minutes away from plenty of shops, 10-15 minute walk to the main beach / promenade (if you don't want to take the hotel bus to the hotel beach). Plenty of nice bars and restaurants on the promenade, I'd highly recommend Tropic bar - the steak I had there was to die for! McDonalds just up the road if you're craving some fast food too. If you don't want to venture as far as the promenade, Serenade bar (a few doors up from the hotel), is such a nice bar / restaurant. Gorgeous food, fab cocktails and always a brill atmosphere. Jimmy, the manager, is such a lovely guy!

Cleanliness The hotel was always spotless, our room was cleaned by Aysha / Aysa (sorry can't remember how it was spelt), and she was such a lovely lady. You can tell the staff take the cleanliness seriously, I am an early riser and each morning whilst on the sunbeds I noticed managers / staff coming round to check any little bits they weren't happy with and needed to be rectified.

Spa / Gym I didn't use the spa myself, but my husband did have 2 massages whilst there and said they were excellent, and great value for money! The gym was well equipped, my only gripe is there could be more treadmills.

Pools Great selection of pools, our girls loved the slides. The sunbeds by the main pool go super early (before 8am) and annoyingly most of them are left unused until 10/11am which is really annoying! If you're not an early riser you might struggle to get a sunbed around the main pool.

Rooms Quite small, especially if there are more than 2 guests staying in the room. Compact but well equipped and clean. Would have been nice to have some soap / shower cap etc and other little toiletry bits in the room upon arrival

Once again had the most amazing two weeks at Calimera Side Resort. From the accommodation to the food and all the facilities, we can’t fault a thing. Our 5 year old had the best time and thanks to Anya at kids club he couldn’t wait to go every day and made so many friends through this. He couldn’t wait for the mini disco and pool dances. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff and entertainment team for the most amazing holiday.
