The environmentally friendly and Travelife Gold award winning hotel is surrounded by natural and beautiful gardens and has been fully refurbished in 2012, making it ultra-modern and sophisticated.Located only 65 km away from Antalya International Airport, the hotel sits in a perfect spot to access everything necessary to make a holiday enjoyable. A day at the peaceful sandy beach, or a leisurely stroll to the spectacular ancient ruins of Side to see the beautiful history of the old town are both just a short walk away. Side Resort hotel has 165 rooms, with a sleeping capacity of 620, which have been recently renovated, giving a fresh and modern feel. All rooms, cleaned immaculately daily by the excellent maids, have private balconies, extra comfortable beds, air conditioning, satellite LCD TV and music channels, direct dial telephone, a safe for hire, hair-dryer and toiletries. The spacious family rooms offer an efficiently equipped kitchenette, mini refrigerator, bathroom with a double shower and separation bedroom doors.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. You can soak up the sun at the private beach or enjoy other recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and a water slide. Additional amenities at this property include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and an arcade/games room. The complimentary beach shuttle makes getting to the surf and sand a breeze.
Arrived at 0100 and was taken to our room. Fridge was empty. There was one small bottle of water between the 2 of us. Room very small and basic but ok since it's just for sleeping and showering. It's kind of below ground level with balcony never getting any sun (if you want your bikini etc to dry it takes 2-3 days). On day 4 we went to exchange beach towels to be informed that there is €1 charge per towel for an exchange (never mentioned during check in or any hotel info). When I aske the receptionist about this practice, I was just told that this is how their hotel is. On day 4 we also got fresh towels in the room (no charge for that). Bedding has not been changed yet. Dinner time is crazy busy. Choice of food is not amazing but it's tasty. Bar staff are friendly and cocktails are very good. Gym is not quite like the photos on the website. Basic but ok. Reported some dumbbells missing from the gym. 6 hours later went to ask if they found them just to be told that it takes time. Great choice of pools and sun beds, however, water in the pools really cold. Great location for old town access and shopping.
First stay and won’t be our last. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children and had a lovely 10 days. From the cleaners, to the bar staff, management to chefs, everyone was brilliant. Special shout out to Anya in kids club who was amazing with our 2 girls, they were so sad to leave her and to Koray who was great at what he does! We were lucky enough to be there for Oktoberfest- what a great day! The staff went above and beyond and everyone had a brilliant time! Never a problem to get a sun bed no matter what time of day. The rooms were great for what we needed, we stayed in the aqua part overlooking the slides, so much space and immaculately clean. Food was varied and always plenty of choice, loved the bbq every night. Cocktails are great, the kids had the mocktails and the bar staff were more than happy to make milkshakes etc. Met so many lovely people, as well as staff.

We stayed at Calimera Side Resort for 10 nights as a family of four adults and two children, and we all really enjoyed our stay.
The cleaning staff were honestly the best we have experienced in a hotel in a long time. Our room was always spotless and cleaned to a very high standard.
The food was nice and varied, and we always found something we enjoyed eating. There was plenty of choice, so everyone in the family was happy. The entertainment team were also good. We particularly enjoyed playing darts with Koray, who was great fun.
The hotel is in a very good location, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The ruins and old town of Side are also around a 20-minute walk away, which was great for us as we enjoyed being able to explore the local area.
The children especially loved their stay. They really enjoyed going to the kids' club, with a special mention to Anya, who kept them both entertained on most days and also made sure they had a great time at the kids' disco in the evenings.
Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday and would definitely recommend Calimera Side Resort. We would happily return!
Second trip here and definitely go back again. Food is varied, there's always something to eat. Fresh salads etc Housekeeping is great. Reception friendly. Animation team work extremely hard, shout out to Fatma and koray who are exceptional and extremely upbeat and friendly. Will definitely return.
