The hotel is located in a beautiful area in Titreyengol/Sorgun. It is set right on the beach on the famous Turkish Riviera. Lake Titreyengol is near the hotel and completes the stunning view. The centre of Side is less than 7 km away. Antalya Airport lies around 75 km away. Built in 2006 and renovated in 2007, the hotel offers 493 rooms and is prepared to cater to guests of all ages, business and leisure travellers as well as guests with reduced mobility. In the very comfortable rooms with carpeting and new furniture, guests are offered a revitalising atmosphere. Rooms feature sea and garden views with a private balcony or terrace. There is a variety of pools guests can choose from for sunbathing in their leisure time. Alternatively they can join one of the many sports activities or enjoy the SPA treatments available.

Lago Hotel with family of 4 kids
Excellent instalations, very good food and deserts. The pool and slided are fantastic. The beach has many pebles and some rocks in the water, but the pier is great to make it comfortably to the sea.
Nice hotel, but the rooms need improvement
Pros:
- The hotel has a big and nice swimming pool. There are different areas, some quiet and some with music and activities.
- There are 16+ areas near the pool and in the restaurant, which is good if you want to relax without children around.
- The animation team is great, and there are many activities during the day.
- The service is generally good. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Whenever we had a problem or needed something, they were ready to help and tried to find a solution.
- The hotel has a nice and friendly atmosphere. You can see that the staff and management are trying to make guests feel comfortable.
- There are enough places to relax around the hotel, so it doesn’t feel too crowded, especially because there are different areas for different types of guests.
Cons:
- The rooms are old and the renovation is not very good. The room is cleaned every day, but the cleaning is very basic.
- When we arrived, the room was quite dirty from the previous guests. There was a lot of dirt that was not cleaned properly during our stay.
- The rooms are not very well planned. The lighting is poor, and the bathroom is very small, especially because the room is for up to 4 people.
- The food was also disappointing. There were not many tasty options, so we ended up eating almost the same food every day. Many dishes were not labeled, so sometimes it was difficult to understand what was in them.
Overall: The hotel is not bad. You can see that the management is trying and that the staff really want to help guests. The service is one of the better parts of the hotel.
However, the renovation seems to have been done too quickly, and some things already need to be repaired or replaced. The rooms especially need improvement.
The hotel is mostly for families with children, so keep this in mind when choosing it.
No 5 star Brits be wary
This at first looks like a stunning hotel, and the location is great, but it is not 5-star.
Some staff are great, but some are so rude. We found that if you speak English as your first language and not Russian, this was an issue.
The main staff member I had an issue with was Mustafa, who sold the trips for the hotel. This was supplied when arriving at the hotel as part of the welcome pack. We asked for trips without boat rides as my wife has a fear of them, and he still sold me one, so he just lied.
When I asked him for the money back, he stated he showed us the video of this, again a lie, and then said it was non-refundable. I was lucky that i could take the hit on this but some people may not be.
We then realised that this was all rushed because the EasyJet rep was there, and he then rushed off.
The EasyJet rep was very rude and asked why we booked with Mustafa. We said the hotel contacted us via the phone in the room, so we thought this was the way to book. He then shook his head and left. Utter joke. No help given, just stormed off because he didn't get a sale.
As a family of three from Britain, we had high expectations as this was the first trip with my daughter. She had fun, but no other children spoke English, and she did not want to do any activities in the kids' club because of this.
The room was nice, but there were some small issues. There was no soundproofing from the main hall, and the entertainment was so loud that on some nights it continued until 2 a.m.—just "bum, bum, bum."
If you put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, the staff still entered the room, and when asked to leave, they were very forceful about cleaning it.
The hotel toilets were very clean, and the food was good but a bit repetitive. No member of staff could make cocktails and had to Google them when asked, and my wife said even then they were all disgusting.

The hotel is honestly amazing! The staff are really helpful, everything is clean, the surroundings are beautiful, and the evening entertainment is great. There are also lots of activities happening in different areas throughout the day, so you definitely won’t get bored.
The coffee bar is amazing! Both the hot and iced coffees are really good. There’s even a queue there in the mornings!
One of the biggest downsides, and something that annoyed us every single day, was the sun lounger situation. I really think the hotel should do something about it. Beach towels are only available from 9 a.m., but even if you come before 9, it’s almost impossible to find a free lounger. Guests leave their towels and belongings on them early in the morning to “reserve” them, even though they might not use them for most of the day.
This was really frustrating because if you actually follow the hotel rules, you have almost no chance of getting a lounger. There are plenty of loungers around the pools, but most of them are covered with towels and personal items, while no one is actually sitting there.
The food could be a bit more varied and have more simple, solid options. A lot of the food was served in sauces or was quite liquid. I also really missed having a better selection of fish. Other than that, the food was okay, although it did start to feel repetitive during a seven-night stay.
The cocktails were also pretty weak. You could drink seven and barely feel anything. :)
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back if the sun lounger “reservation” problem was sorted out.
