Catty Cats Garden Hotels

Stayed here as a family, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Rooms are clean and plenty of space. Food was not bad, lots of nice fresh salad and fruit but very samey meatballs, spaghetti bol, chips, rice. Soup was always nice. We probably ate out 5 evenings out of 10 for a bit of variety. It felt a nice, safe hotel. Hotel staff are lovely. As for the guy behind the bar being grumpy.... I found him to be well mannered and pleasant. I believe a smile goes a long way. Maybe bear in mind its nice to maybe engage a little. A lot of people were rude when ordering a drink. No please/thankyou and talking to him like he was stupid, so not a surprise he doesn't smile at everyone. You get what you give, he's human.

The only negative is the toilets near the pool. You are supposed to use a bin for toilet roll but it was over flowing onto the floor, dirty to the point id rather walk up 3 flights of stairs for the toilet. All in all we had a great time and so did the kids so thankyou.

Just returned from an 11 night stay with our 3 children (ages 12, 10 and 4). There are a few areas that could improve but overall we found it a positive experience and good value for what we paid in comparison to a lot of the others we priced up. We do like to get out and about and this hotel is the perfect location for that. It's not a hotel that I think you could spend all day every day in. Food ... we enjoyed it. It does get repetitive but I think that's all hotel buffets. We found it tasty and my older 2 enjoyed it. My youngest struggled but she's really fussy and would struggle anywhere. Rooms were spacious and clean. Maids were friendly. Turkish night at the beach restaurant... brilliant night with an amazing atmosphere. The main let down for us was some of the guests (totally not the hotels fault). They were awful. Kids being abusive to other kids , throwing furniture in the pool, even saying racist things to other kids. There parents were absolutely no where to be seen. The same kids causing trouble every single day.

Pros for us - Location , value for money, my little girl loved the kids disco. I would definitely recommend to people looking for a good base and to explore the area. There is so much to see and do. Beach was lovely. Room size Pancakes at breakfast were amazing.

Cons and with a little attention would improve the hotel drastically. Attitudes of the bar staff - it comes up in a lot of reviews so probably time to do something about it. Noone wants fo feel like an inconvenience when ordering a drink on a holiday that they have saved all year for. Better variety of drinks (especially for younger kids) Lifeguard round the pool (or parents could just parent their kids) Throw anyone's towel into the pool that leaves them overnight. Some families reserved 5/6 sunbeds and went out for the day. Some drink / food for guests arriving during the night. We arrived at 1am and had to ask for a drink. Overall for the price we paid we felt we got our moneys worth and would return.
