Located by the beach and only 3 km from the centre of Side, this family-friendly hotel comprises a total of 379 units spread over 3-4 floors. Set in spacious grounds which feature a large outdoor pool and landscaped gardens, the hotel has many facilities including its own beach, on-site shops and entertainment programme.
We were never 'those' people that went to the same place again, but this is our fourth visit! It is such a great hotel with lovely staff, especially Ahmet Yalcinkaya and Seymen (two of the best waiters there!). Nothing is too much for you, with the levels of service being phenomenally high. I would thoroughly recommend it, so much so that we're thinking of going back again!
We have just returned from our first visit and we had such a good time. We arrived at 4.30am and was greeted by the recipient who quickly checked us in and then took us to the restaurant so we could get some food and a drink. We were given some gifts on arrival and given all the information we needed for our stay.
The hotel rooms were really clean and the beds were really comfortable, the bathroom was a nice size with a large standing shower. The rooms were cleaned daily and mini fridge stocked.
The hotel was very spacious and very well maintained and looked clean at all times. The pools were a nice size and plenty of sun beds.
We had no issues with the food, plenty of choices every day and we really enjoyed the A la carte restaurants, the service was excellent throughout our visit. The staff work really hard and so polite and cant do enough for you. We spent a lot of our evenings at the pool bar where the evening entertainment was being shown. The bar tenders were really good and made great cocktails, a big thankyou to Younis who looked after us most nights.
A lot of the people we spoke too had already visited this hotel many times and it's easy to see why. Its a really good hotel and we're already looking at re-booking for next year.
This was our second trip to Barut Hemera Side Türkiye, the location is about a one hour journey from the airport but does experience heavy traffic so it actually took much longer to get there. on arrival check in was very good with a simple form to fill in and our cases were taken swiftly to our room. We were very lucky as it was our 40th wedding anniversary we got a upgrade room for which we are very grateful. We found the hotels amenities very good with pleasant and helpful staff. Food in main restaurant and pool side bars good quality and plentiful choice. With Breakfast it would have been better if they had catered a bit more for the Brits as there was no English sausage and bacon which we found surprising as there were many British guests staying there. Our only other slight disappointment was the lack of British tv channels other than BBC world news again there really needs to be more considering the amount of British Guests , perhaps BBC or ITV would be a suggestion. However taking this all into consideration this is still a great place to unwind and enjoy a good holiday. We liked the fact that there are three pools and one being specifically for other 16s so adult only making it a ideal spot for couples wanting a quiet area to sunbath and swim. Guest relations team were excellent during our stay. There is a walk that you can do into Side along the promenade or you can get the bus or order a taxi , just a suggestion it would be really great to see a boat service across from the beach area to Side which I feel would be enjoyable and a easier option. overall we enjoyed going back to this resort and will no doubt return in the future.
We visited the Barut Hemera in August and felt compelled to share what a wonderful hotel this is. Its incredible amenities (including fabulous pools, (especially the adults only) wonderful restaurants and marvellous on-site patisserie) are all a joy to behold. However like the best hotels in the world, the difference is the people and the Barut Hemera team are outstanding, every single one of them. Their appetite to make you holiday unforgettable is insatiable and their attentiveness to your needs never switches off. Well done Team Barut Hemera, we will be back!!!!
We spent a short time in Barut Hemera hotel & it was a totally relaxing, comfortable & humble time for us. The reception was seamless, a quick check in, with a smile from the lady at the counter. The rooms was spacious, spotless & very well equipped. The rest of the hotel was just as impressive, but the thing that stands out is that every member of staff we met greeted us with a smile. It is a truly professionally run hotel, & I think the senior management instill into all the staff that the customer/holiday makers are the most important people at the hotel. We were introduced to a gentleman called Izzet who we later found out was a senior manager. He took time out to chat to us, & welcome us to the Barut Hemera. A genuinely professional, humble & sincere person who was happy to introduce himself. Can I also give a big shout to Razaman in the breakfast restaurant. He remembered our drinks after the 1st day, my wife’s tomato juice & the pot of hot water ( because she brought her own tea bags!!). Anyone looking for a 5* hotel in the Antalya area need look no further than hotel Barut Hemera. It’s a little bit more expensive than some other hotels, but I believe it is worth every penny. Thank you & I’ll definitely be going back there.
