Great holiday, and great staff, Deniz and Memet were stand out employees 👌🏼 Better security around the hotel and from the beach. I would have liked better coverage of the English football also.
Dates of Stay: 15/08/2026 – 29/08/2026
Room Type: Superior Room
Overall Verdict: 3/5 (A 4-star resort at best, not the 5-star experience advertised)
Upon arrival, the lobby is spacious, impressive, and offers plenty of seating. However, our overall experience fell short of the premium 5-star expectations for what we paid, and we would not return.
Rooms & Accommodation
Location: We were allocated a room on the 5th floor. I would advise avoiding this floor, as the rooms are situated in the roof space and have very limited balcony space.
Initial Room: Our first room was extremely disappointing. The air conditioning was very noisy and turned the room into a sweatbox. Furthermore, while the hotel website advertises Superior Rooms with one double and two single beds, we were given a double bed, a single sofa bed, and a small "camp" style bed completely unsuitable for an 8-year-old child.
Management Response: Staff claimed the website description was wrong, though we suspect we were placed in a standard land view room. An engineer failed to fix the air conditioning, but because the hotel was fully booked, we had to wait until the next day to move.
Second Room: Our second room was slightly larger with two single beds, but had a significantly smaller balcony. The air conditioning still performed poorly, causing my wife to develop a night cough throughout the trip—the units clearly need servicing/cleaning.
Housekeeping Issues: Housekeeping was inconsistent. Empty glass bottles left on side tables were never removed (I eventually had to put them in the hallway), and on two occasions, we were provided duvets with distinctive red stains.
Pool, Beach & Safety Concerns
Pool & Ordering: The pool is large with plenty of sunbeds available at all times. The QR ordering system at pool tables was excellent and efficient.
Glass Safety Hazard: Drinks around the pool are served in real glass, which presents a major safety risk. The children's section had to be closed during our stay after a waiter dropped a glass in the pool. Additionally, when my daughter accidentally knocked over a glass near our sunbed, staff were notified, but broken glass was still present the following morning and only cleaned up after a second complaint.
Towels & Grounds: Towels are provided upon arrival and can be exchanged daily. The grounds are extensive, clean, and feature great water slides and multiple bars.
Beach: The beach was a slight disappointment; entry into the sea is challenging due to heavy shingles.
Dining & Bars
Food: Over a two-week period, the food felt very repetitive despite the changing evening themes.
Smoking Policy: Outside seating at the main restaurant places designated non-smoking tables directly next to smoking areas. There needs to be a proper separation so families do not have to breathe in smoke while eating.
Bars & Service: The 24-hour Piano Bar and its ice cream selection (available 10:00–18:00) were great for children. However, the lobby bar in the evening was severely understaffed—often with only one person working—leading to long queues and crowded ordering.
Staff Special mention to Mehmet, who was excellent throughout our stay and made fantastic cocktails. Overall, the staff were friendly, attentiveness was good, and we could not fault their service efforts despite the operational issues.
Excellent staff, location and experience
