Saturn Palace Resort

We choose this hotel after reading lots of reviews. It’s also close to the airport which is much needed after travelling with small children and getting to the airport and then the long flight. The staff work so hard and are friendly. Always someone brining drinks or snacks round and not forgetting the ice creams. Can’t remember his name but the waiter on the beach works so hard, he just does not stop. Want to say a special thank you to Mehmet he was so good with my grandchildren at dinner and at the bar always smiling and just generally being polite and welcoming. My grandchildren especially enjoyed the flatbread with chocolate and the waffles at lunch times. The pools are good, we always managed to find a sunbed even at 9:30, maybe not right by the pool but on the grassed area or the beach. Kids club staff are also a credit to the hotel. My grandchildren loved it, it was a struggle to get them to come and have some family time. We also had a Turkish bath which the granddaughters loved. We had an evening at land of legends, got taxi from reception, all very easy and then picked up and paid once back at the hotel. WiFi good everywhere even down on the beach. Take water shoes as sand and walk ways very hot. Rooms good size for 4 of us, we overlooked the pool with the smaller bridge. My grandson loved the astronaut on the lift, even though we were only on floor 1 we still had to wait for the lift, so he could see the astronaut.

Can’t really give negative more things to improve on. Eg rooms next to each other when booking as a family. The air con wasn’t good but reception gave us spare key to keep it on when not in room, which helped a little. But had to go in room to put card in, after maid had been if not they take it. Someone to monitor the kids pools, due to smoking around the pool, and there are smoking signs around. At end of day it’s a kids pool. Also not hotels fault but the amount of children pushing other children over, running up the slides, as no parents supervising. Even when pools being cleaned in evening children running up and down the slides. When attending kids club, could the parents be given a price list of paid activities when dropped off, as the younger ones don’t understand why they can’t do something the others children are. Why is the water in kids pools turned off around midday? This then makes the slides red hot. Not everyone has lunch at same time. The maid was a bit cheeky, saying she won’t be there for 3 days as she was moving house, to then be there the day after.

Even with the things to improve on we would still come back.

Really enjoyed our holiday . Staff and service was excellent and will definitely be coming back soon . Kids enjoyed the slides and food and drink second to none
