Firstly this is not a 5 star hotel as advertised! Our room was spacious, clean and the only thing to fault would be the lack of a view, 2nd floor so not the best but we’re not really ones for sitting out in the balcony so this we could get over. Mini bar was decent and topped up daily. Noise levels in this hotel are off the scale, yes I get it is a family hotel but the amount of children running about the corridors, bars, restaurants screaming and shouting was just too much! There didn’t seem to be any discipline at all from the parents or respect for other guests which would definitely put me off that’s before I even start on the main buffet restaurant! Chaos: Because it is a massive resort the buffet hall felt extremely chaotic! Staff plate the food for you (which I didn’t like) yes I get it keeps things clean but not when your food is being slapped on the plate like a dog’s dinner with varying portion sizes and all this while having to queue causing bottlenecks! You were hard pushed to find a clean table and this is despite the staff working very hard! For me an evening meal on holiday should be relaxed and enjoyable .. not here it was as fast as you could eat and get out! It was the same at breakfast, didn’t eat here at lunch and tended to go to the pizzeria/burger places which were good. The patisserie was nice and we went here a few times with nice snacks and treats. The pool areas where big with plenty of sunbeds, not the comfiest and for a hotel of this rating I would have expected more. Entertainment a hit or a miss unfortunately! For the money paid I don’t think it was worth it and would definitely not return .. on a good note the staff were friendly and worked extremely hard and the sun was shining the whole holiday!
Perfect experience. The rooms, the pools and the food is perfect.
Positives- we have just returned home from a week here, we got the most beautiful balcony view as we luckily got a room facing the sea. The food is the best we’ve had so far in turkey, lunch time is really good by the pool area- you have access to burgers/chicken strips, pizzas, jacket potato’s where you can choose your own filling and ice creams. The entertainment as a whole was ok, my 7 year old really enjoyed most of the entertainment however some was questionable, as it is next door to the titanic hotel it seemed like their entertainment was a lot better, for example they had flying drone shows which we could see from our hotel, there isn’t much ‘british’ focused entertainment but like I said the children will enjoy the entertainment more than the adults.
Negatives- now please ensure your children are aged 10 before booking as there is a ridiculous rule that your children have to be 10 to ride the slides! But you also have to be 120cm, we have a 7 year old son who is above 120cm but because he was under 10 some lifeguards said he could not ride the slides. This is really disheartening after paying so much money for a holiday, don’t get me wrong some lifeguards let the age rule slip if you are above 120! My 7 year old is average height for his age so you may get away with it if you’re above the minimum height requirement. We visited the land of legends on one of the days which is amazing, and my 7 year old rode really high + fast water slides, much bigger than the ones in the hotel and there was no age rule in play here! So not sure why the hotel has this rule if they are above 120cm. But this is my only negative I would say about the hotel. On another positive note the pool is huge + heated, great kids area with plenty smaller slides which my 7 year old thoroughly enjoyed, there is entertainment everyday around the pool. Their is a waiter on a roller skates who will take your orders at the sun loungers which is a really good touch, the hotel grounds are stunning + clean. There is staff in the all inclusive buffet which serve you the food you want which I found is a lot nicer than people helping themselves, feels a lot more hygienic this way. We would definitely return back to the miracle hotel if the slide age restriction was not in place but unfortunately there is other hotels without this restriction so therefore we would avoid until he turns 10 for this reason, the water slides are the highlight of my sons holiday
The room was excellent, with a very large balcony and great view. My favourite part was the pool though.
