Aska Lara Resort and Spa

We stayed at this hotel in June 2026 for 10 nights as a family of 10 including 2 children and 2 babies. We had an amazing stay! Hotel is clean / staff are lovely and work so hard. Food was really good and had different stuff everyday. We went to the wet and wild everyday as it had the kids area. So much for the kids they all loved the baby slides area and the splash pad. Most of the pools also have a swim up ledge which is great for the kids we sat near this most days. The food in the day time was lovely and you could pick from all the different snack bar areas. We had a standard room for the 4 of us and was plenty of room. We would definitely be returning to this hotel.

Me and my wife stayed in this hotel between July 5-10, 2026. Honestly, there is so much potential in this hotel, I should say. Before starting with pros and cons, I want to mention a couple of things related to the hotel. The hotel is in Lara, Antalya which is super close to the airport. (Max 20-25 mins) Also, since it is close to airport, there are shopping malls and stores around, for example Migros (which is a local grocery store) is just 1 km away. Other than that, since the hotel building is a little away from the sea, still its beach (Wet'n Wild Park) is by the sea and the hotel has a private beach which is only for the guests. We stayed in Annex building which is called River side building, because there is a river behind the hotel, and it is connected to the main hotel building with a tunnel. (Max 5 mins of walk)

Pros:

1. Wi-Fi connection was amazing, in the hotel complex, everywhere you can be connected to the Internet easily.
2. There is a Starbucks located inside the main hotel building. (Actually its name was Central cafe but it has many Starbucks drinks, because of their deal with Starbucks I guess, but cannot use Starbucks name officially)
3. The Wet'n Wild Park is spacious, large enough to do many activities. (Archery, amusement park, multiple pools, slides, bars, snack places, ice cream etc, they have everything that you need)
4. The food and drink options are good, variety is enough. They have brand drinks, that is very important.
5. They have frequent shuttle bus service which takes you to the beach very fast. Also, if you request, they take you to the River side buildings also.
6. The hotel room which was in Annex building was very spacious, and it had a separate bedroom connected to the TV lounge. It has a big fridge, and 2 TVs, 2 ACs. I really really liked these features.
7. Aska Arena have many shows, the variety is so good. We liked the Michael Jackson show and the bike show the most.

Cons:

1. A forced review incident happened, we are not sure if this is the hotel policy and it was a common thing, or it was just for one-time. There was a middle-aged waiter, who was serving drinks in Aska Arena, and even though we did not want to order, he was very kind to bring drinks and snacks to us. After accepting his offer, he brought all those and after that he asked if we can write a review about the hotel, and literally he touched my phone and started pressing 5 stars etc on Google Reviews, and he took screenshots and left. This made us think that bringing drinks and snacks was not free, the review was the price of it. In addition to this being a very cheap trick for such a big hotel, this made me think that Google Reviews can not be trusted.
2. The main building of the hotel has cinema salon and it has timings written on the board but the management seems to not have planned the timings very carefully that before the movie ends, they shut down the projector and you need to leave after that. The person who came to close the projector was very rude also, I need to mention.
3. There were some single men in groups, which are not many but I was not expecting the hotel to accept any single men, since it is a family hotel.

Note: Beware that there are very stubborn, shameless crows out in the beach that can steal your drink and food, so be careful :) And, while entering the sea, there are stones that can hurt your feet, be careful for that too, maybe buy a water shoe, but it was perfectly fine for us.

Except these cons I wrote above, we liked this hotel and I give 4 stars out of 5. I just want these feedbacks to be taken seriously, and if they can take an action, this hotel has a potential to deserve 5 stars out of 5.
