Located in the Kizilagac district on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, the hotel is 24 km away from the resort and historical ruins at Side and 80 km from the Antalya International Airport, and at 85 km from the city centre of Antalya. The hotel offers 834 bright guest rooms, equipped with central air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, safe box and bathroom with shower, hair dryer and toiletries. Some rooms offers sea, garden and land views. With striking architecture, this hotel is a paradise for families with children, offering a private, fine sandy beach as well as a variety of pools and a water park, while other features include a fully equipped spa with a special SPA garden with Bali type massage units, as well as an outside SPA swimming pool (non-heated) of 50 m2.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My experience in this hotel was not as expected. I thought it is 5stars hotel but out of the experience i had, it is not nearly 3stars. The rooms were in poor condition. We had a family room with stairs. The stairs were dirty, worn out, the walls had stains from other guests, ceiling had water leak stains. The furniture was old fashioned. Sink in the toilet was blocked and we had to ask for someone to come and drain it. The ceiling in the toilet is peeling specially the one in the shower unit. The hallways had lots of tripping hazards, where I tripped three times and my son had a fall. The pools looked lovely however lack of life guards and water had residue all the time, kept me wondering whether proper po cleaning were done or not. The guests has lack of social manners, they can step infront of you at the reception desk and unfortunately staff are not able to ask them to wait for their turn. The reception staff lack english language, there were only two that I can communicate with, the lady manager cane across rude to me at some point. I have been to Turkey before and I have dealt with staff at hotels and I can differentiate between rudeness and people with loud voice or tone. The lady manager was rude very loud which is something I was offended with. The food was ok, 24/7 snack bar which had offered chicken, burgera and pizzas, in addition to salads, fries, fruits, drinks and few deserts and icecream. There were 5 flavours for icecream. They had 1 main restaurant and I would avoid as it is always crowded. The restaurant at the beach is lovely, serves similar dishes everyday but we liked it the most. The entertainment was great, lots of activities for kids which is really good. The water slides are fast and fun, however some of the staff at the slides can be careless and asking to go quick one after another rather than waiting for the person sliding before out of the water first. They have shops however they are very expensive. An inflatable ball costs £20 and above, so if you are looking to buy anything from their shop bring in extra cash. They have accessories and silver shop, the prices were ok and acceptable. Overall, I dont think I will ever return or visit this hotel again. My experience was not great and the money I paid towards this hotel can take me to a better hotel choice and location.
Our money was stolen from the locked safe in the room.
The Hotel is cool for family vacation! Many entertainments, that kids like most!
Unfortunately, I can't say many good things about this hotel.
On the positive side, the food at the beach à la carte restaurant was very good, and the evening entertainment shows on the main stage were genuinely enjoyable.
However, there were many downsides. The hotel is old and unfortunately has an unpleasant smell in many areas. Our room was average at best: the mattress and pillows were very hard, the air conditioning barely cooled the small room even when set to the lowest temperature, there was mold in the shower, and the toilet was leaking.
The hotel seems to cater almost exclusively to Turkish and Russian guests. Very few staff members could communicate in English. At one point, a waiter in the beach restaurant had to ask someone else what the word "starter" meant.
The swimming pools are also not suitable for younger children. All of the main pools are 140 cm deep, and there are no shallower pools (120 cm or less) for small kids. The only alternative is the splash pool by the water slides, which is clearly not designed as a regular children's pool.
Another disappointment was the location. There is literally nothing around the hotel, so I honestly don't understand how some reviews describe the surroundings as beautiful. Outside the resort, there is nowhere to walk, explore, or spend time.
I honestly don't know how this hotel has earned a 5-star rating. I've stayed at other 5-star resorts in Turkey, and they were significantly better in every respect.
To top it all off, after my stay I received a thank-you email written entirely in German. Honestly, it would have made just as much sense if they had sent it in Turkish - I would have needed translate either way.
Overall, the hotel is beautiful and we had a pleasant stay. The rooms could use some minor renovations and updates, but they were comfortable. The food was excellent, with a good variety and great quality. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. I would especially like to thank Salih, a waiter who worked in the restaurant during the evenings. He was highly experienced, attentive, and provided old-school hospitality that is becoming rare these days. His excellent service made a very positive impression, and he deserves special recognition. I would also like to mention Fitore, who worked at the kids' play area. She was always kind, friendly, and welcoming, and her positive attitude was greatly appreciated. The biggest downside of our stay was that one of the elevators near the spa entrance was out of service for four days, which resulted in long waiting times and was quite inconvenient. Another negative experience was with the staff promoting spa services. They were overly persistent in trying to attract guests, which became annoying after a while. That said, I want to emphasize once again how outstanding the hotel staff were overall. I witnessed several situations where guests behaved rudely or made unnecessary messes, yet the staff remained calm, polite, and professional without showing any signs of frustration. Their patience and professionalism were truly commendable. P.S. Cleanliness: 4/5 | Noise level: 3.5/5
