Sentido Numa Bay Hotel is located 105 km to Antalya Airport, 65 km to Alanya - Gazipaşa Airport, 22 km to Alanya and 2 km from Avsallar. Our hotel is near the sea, our beach is within an ancient port dating from 200 BC. Our facility has 242 standard rooms,10 swimup rooms,10 Superior (Exclusive) rooms, 3 handicapped rooms, 20 family room , a total of 285 rooms. In our rooms everything has been considered for the comfort and convenience of you and your family and prepared with modern design. All rooms are equipped with shower, WC, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, minibar, air conditioning, free safe, TV / satellite music channels, free wireless internet, balcony. Our hotel has 1 main Restaurant , 3 A'la Carte Restaurant and 1 Snack Restaurant , Pool Bar, Lobby Bar/Blue Bar ,Beach Bar and Disco Bar are available to our guests. You will enjoy a pleasant time during your holiday with activities in our facility. 1 outdoor swimming pool, 1 indoor pool, 1 Aquapark pool , 1 Relax (+16) pool ,1 pool with beach concept (sweet water) ,Kids pool ,TV room, shopping center, professional fitness center, water aerobics during the day, rent a car, internet stations. Live music 7 nights a week and 2 evening themed dance shows. Take time for yourself in Sentido Numa Bay Hotel and you will be able to rest both your body and soul with mystical massages of the Far East. In addition, you can refresh yourself in our Spa with Turkish bath, Sauna, Skin Care and Hairdressing services. 1 meeting rooms in our hotel with technical infrastructure for 15 to 250 persons can respond to the needs of our guests for both holiday and business during seminars and meetings. Our hotel accepts Master, Visa, Euro cards and travelers checks pass.
Family of 4, 2 kids aged 15 and 18. Room type was a Superior Family Room 5th floor overlooking the swim up pools. Block C. This is the new block. 26/8 to 4/9
We arrived at 9pm after a 1 hour 45 minute private transfer from Antalya airport.
Check in was no problem at all. We dropped our hand luggage in the room and went exploring. Our cases were taken up by the staff soon after.
Lets start with the Hotel itself. 1st impressions on arrival, It's a beautiful. As we arrived in the evening, it was beautifully lit up. Lobby is spacious, Lobby bar and coffee are further on, down the external stairs, past the lit up pools, Lots of plant lined pathways down to the bars and beach area. The entertainment was in full swing (moulin Rouge night) but decided to get some cocktails at Ali baba bar.
Superior Family Room. Block C. Pros. Room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Beds comfy, balcony is huge with 2 tables and 4 chairs, lighting etc Showers great, although hot and cold at busy times.
Negs. We were overlooking the building site next door. No work was going on, so no building noise, but unsightly. We asked to change at the next available room overlooking the swim up rooms, which was sorted out for us the following day. So, thank you for sorting that.
There are 2 bedrooms in these rooms, but no wardrobe is in the master bedroom. Everything is in the twin room. The master room is large enough to take a wardrobe. more hooks needed please.
Pools. Pools are great, (9 in total incl slide splash pools, baby and indoor pools) I think 1.4 meters deep on both the main pools, shallower pools elsewhere. Slides were great fun, plenty of lifeguards throughout. Pools areas/sunbeds were busy in the 1st part of the holiday as still high season, but tapered off come the end as schools restarting in Europe and Russia. Obviously sunbeds at the edge of the pool get reserved early. When you have toddlers etc, you have to be near the poolside for ease and their safety. But plenty of beds especially on the beach if you're up late don't worry.
Lets not forget the Legend, Mehmet on his roller blades completely looking after us for drinks around the pool. What a star.
Food. Lets start with the buffet. As a well travelled family, we always found nice food to eat. I understand the reviews critiquing the buffet. Young and old kids are not always going to find what they like and I have been to AI buffets that have better options catered for British kids. Having said all that, we only went to the buffet breakfast twice, as we don't normally have breakfast. We never went for lunch as there were better options (Ali baba and The Avenue). Evening meals were fine for us. A La carte restaurants were delicious and we would recommend booking these when you arrive (Mangal was stunning Turkish food!)
The Avenue. Opens at 11am (hence why I skip breakfast). So, a lovely setting shaded by hanging umbrellas with plenty of seating. Turkish breads, Salads, jacket potatoes, Roast and fried chicken, Hotdogs and Cheeseburgers, Doner kebabs, fresh pasta, Sushi, Tex mex ice cream and Waffles....plus a bar to get drinks.
This is still a buffet set up but more chilled than the main buffet
Ali baba. Lunch 1-3pm Table service. except Wednesdays.
Open for Burgers, fresh pizza, Caesar salad, pasta and wraps, table service, drinks orders taken and very attentive staff all set under the cool(ish) shade of trees right by the beach. We dined here a lot for lunch. Good food, great staff.
Drinks. Lounge Piano bar. Always a beautiful warm welcome from Hilal. On entering the bar, the bar itself is beautiful to look at. Then Greeted by the energy of the cocktail masters Mustafa and Ozgur behind the bar welcoming us in. We always had great chats and laughs while deciding which fantastic cocktail to have. After sitting down the waitresses, Rabia and Fatma were great chatting to us and taking our further orders. These pre-diner drinks were a real highlight to the holiday. Kudos to the staff here.
Main lobby bar. We used this bar a couple of times, staff always were helpful. White beer and lager available. Guinness was in cans as an issue with the pumps/chiller on draught.
Pool bar, Alibaba, entertainment bar and Avenue bar.
The draught beer is hit and miss, some days good, some days a bit iffy. There is always bottled beer. Cocktails are premixed in these bars. Shorts are fine, Schweppes tonic from bottles, Mixers are pumped. bottles of water are freely available all over the hotel.
Al a carte restaurants were lovely, very generous portions.
Spa. We had a Hammam and a sports massage, all amazing and felt refreshed and invigorated after.
Entertainment team. These guys were good fun, especially around the pool.
Another big thank you to the Victor, Annabel and Lauren for generally checking up on us ensuring we were happy with everything.

In short, everything's great – food, entertainment, and the beach – there's something special for the whole family.
The hotel is located far from the airport – it took us two hours to get there –but it was worth it. The hotel itself is compact, and the grounds have everything you need: bars, restaurants, various attractions, and even a new water park. The hotel is new, bright, and – most importantly – clean. The room was cozy and spacious enough for a family of four (two adults, a child, and an infant). We booked a room with a side view of the sea. The soundproofing in the room isn’t very good, but I think that’s a problem with all hotels. The room has everything you need for a relaxing stay, and if there’s anything missing, you can ask at the front desk – they’ll bring it right away. The beach is great even though it has some pebbles but the entry into the sea isn’t steep, which is convenient for small children. There are plenty of lounge chairs, so you don’t have to rush out early in the morning to reserve one. There are two piers for those who want to go snorkeling. It’s convenient that there’s a small bar on the beach, as well as a snack area and another bar nearby. There’s a new, awesome water park with cool slides not many, but it’s still a draw, especially since there are separate kids’ slides in two of the pools. There are plenty of pools, but you won’t find any lounge chairs around them after lunch. For meals, we had breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant, and lunch at Avenue –which was definitely a gem. They served dishes from various cuisines, including delicious fresh pasta, baked stuffed potatoes, crispy chicken, and waffles – everything was always fresh. Breakfasts were standard – there were cereals, pancakes, omelets, and donuts, plus lots of dried fruit and honey in combs – it was simply wow. Dinner was quite varied; there were themed nights – I really liked the seafood night, especially the crayfish. We went a la carte once at Mangal – it was okay, nothing really special. Unfortunately, we missed the others because we mixed up the dates and went on the wrong day. A great coffee shop with delicious treats and great coffee. On the not-so-pleasant side, there are those “juices” in big quotation marks that they serve at bars and restaurants – they’re really tasteless and often super watered down. It would be better if they just had Coke, Sprite, and soda there. As for the activities, the daytime entertainment has really improved – there were all kinds of sports, and my older child went to the kids’ club. The entertainers were just great – very attentive to the kids. Thanks to Peri, Anna, and the rest of the team for the awesome activities and the mini-disco. The evening shows were just fantastic – both the dancing and the singing – and the coolest part was the extreme show; it was a real “wow.” There were some pretty good parties. On some days, the kids had trampolines and bubbles, and on other days, they had VR lasers and short video games. The bars are nice, and the local alcohol is pretty good – though, of course, the cocktails, premium beer, and specialty spirits are much better at the reception area and the piano bar. The whole family was pleased with the beach, the hotel, and the staff.
Great thanks to Mustafa from Piano Bar for the best cocktails and service! His amazing energy, professional skills, and constant smile made our evenings absolutely perfect. He is a real asset to Numa Bay! 👌🙂

A big shout out to all the team in The Piano Bar (especially Ozgur). The bar is exceptional. Friendly Funny and Fantastic. Highly experienced at cocktail making and bar skills in general. The cocktails are amazing. Freshly made and extremely tasty and refreshing to drink. Its a must visit bar in this hotel. Highly recommend and a highlight of my stay. Love it!!!
Whilst I'm at it, I would also like to say that all the staff in housekeeping are all brilliant too. Very welcoming and our room is always clean and fridge restocked each day.
