Kaila Beach Hotel

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing holiday at this hotel My boyfriend got involved with all the activities including darts and water polo with the other guests and it was great to watch It’s so good seeing other guests getting involved and made the holiday so enjoyable with suleyman

We have just come back from this beautiful hotel after spending two weeks here. Overall we had a fantastic time. The hotel is very modern and clean. Food is good and plentiful (no English breakfast) lots of other alternatives especially making your own toasted sandwiches which were lovely . Lots of beautiful cakes and always something of an evening to find to eat. Staff were very friendly and helpful we spent most of our time at the small pool by the dolphin snack bar the young lady serving there was really lovely. Our room was spotless and cleaners came in every day. There are lots of cats at the hotel and I thought how lovely it was that they did seem to be cared for and weren’t treated as pests. Entertainment probably lets the place down . The young children seemed to enjoy the two girls who ran the kids club they always seemed well looked after when I went past . There were acrobatic acts and singers and karaoke and bingo . The male member of staff doing the animation seemed to have a attitude problem he had a go at the crowd one night cause nobody wanted to join in his musical chairs and threatened to stop the entertainment if no one joined in . I won bingo one night and he got quite nasty saying I hadn’t one when I had then he said he was only joking. Another night the area was packed and I went to get a drink and when I was away he stole my chair just took behind the stage and shrugged his shoulders at my partner as if to say he could do what he wanted. Apart from him everyone else was lovely. There are lots of bars and shops and restaurants a short walk from hotel. There is a market that happens twice a week really close. Overall we had a great holiday it was our first time in Turkey but definitely not the last

I just got back from an 11 night stay at this hotel and would definitely not say this is the rating it supposedly is.

Firstly we paid about £80 extra for a deluxe room the room was overall clean but the shower door was broken, wouldn’t shut properly and water would get everywhere. There were wires hanging on the shelf under the sink in the bathroom and the wallpaper all around the room was hanging of the walls. The overall size and look of the room was pretty nice.

The food is not very good, breakfast options are very limited to pastry’s, pancakes, eggs, Turkish meat and fruit veg and deserts. We only went to the buffet for lunch once as we truely couldn’t find anything there we liked, dinner is pretty much some meats (grilled chicken and turkey) and vegetables that weren’t very nice. One night they did tacos and although the meat was really nice the shells were fully stale and from then I noticed that most of the food was just being put out for breakfast lunch and dinner for god knows how long. There is the option of the bistro which is also included in the all inclusive which serves your usual chips, chicken nuggets and burgers which we had lunch at every day, so the option for those we are pretty fussy. There is also a 5 course resteraunt that is free when your stay is over 5 days we opted for the Italian menu and it was actually pretty nice. they keep it very fancy and professional for this. There is also another food place which we never had the chance to try.

The pools are pretty big, three pools and lots of sunbeds never once had to compete in the sunbed wars. Music playing all day aswell. One of the pools has some waterslides which was actually really enjoyable.

All your soft drinks are included and alcoholic drinks too but not your normal tequila sunrise and daiquiris and such. They have their own menu of drinks the sun breeze is very nice. You can get your normal cocktails too which cost around 10€. There is a couple shops on site too which is good but also got one across the street.

The staff where mostly nice, some bartenders seemed to be less nice when realising I am Scottish and not Turkish but most of them where friendly. One night we did witness something that baffled me a bit. At one of the bars there are some plastic chairs and also some proper chairs, some Turkish guests had put towels on the chairs to ‘reserve them’ this was at nighttime and these were not sunbeds. Other people had came over to sit on the chairs and had asked the bar tender to move the towels which he did. The people who had put the towels down had then came down and told the bar tender they had put those towels down and the bartender then told the people that they had to move so the Turkish guests could sit there. Which I feel is not right whatsoever and all guest should be treated the same. But I understand in any country they will be more fond of their own but in a hotel I don’t feel that is correct.

The entertainment was good, there was professional dancers, singers and karaoke along with a kids club for about 15 minutes before.

Most of the staff spoke some English but some didn’t speak much at all, which I kind of struggle to understand considering it is a hotel where people come from different countries, the reception staff not speaking English did make things difficult when trying to book activities.

There is also a beach attached to the hotel just around from the pool bar we didn’t realise this was there until a couple days before we left. It is essentially a tunnel that takes you to the beach, there is sun loungers you do not have to pay for those ones and also a bar which you get 10% of at

We had a generally okayish stay but I wouldn’t say this hotel is up to us ratings standards.
