The hotel is spotless- Rooms are cleaned every single day and fresh towels are given everyday. Beds are comfy and if you require anything the maids are happy to help.
The restaurant provide lots of different variety of foods and we never struggled to find something to eat. Always plenty of choice and the food is hot and freshly cooked.
The pool/beach are good facilities. There is a snack bar at each which is part of the all inclusive packages. The music around the main pool is very quiet which we found unusual.
The staff work so hard and nothing is to much trouble for them. Staff are always smiling, happy and willing to engage in conversations with you.
The entertainment This is our 14th time to Turkey and we usually stay in 4/5 star hotels. I would rate the day time entertainment as 0/10.
The entertainment staff come around in the morning sometimes say good morning sometimes they do not bother.
We attended 4 activities that were advertised on the board darts, aqua and bowls- not one member of staff turned up for them. On the beach where the bowls took place I saw two entertainment staff sat on sun-beds smoking- Really unprofessional. Having worked in the holiday entertainment business myself for a number of years- I decided I had to speak to the manager of the hotel. I explained that there were no announcements for activities, no one came around to tell people where to go for the activities and there was no effort at all by the entertainment staff.
Then as if by magic that afternoon- Staff engaged with guests and told guests what was happening and activities did take place.
The night entertainment was better with outside agencies coming into the hotel. However there is nothing past 22:00pm unless you want to go on a bus and into the town for a disco with the entertainment staff- For a five staff hotel I think this is very poor considering the amount already paid for the holiday. There would be additional money required if you went to the disco in the town. I feel that the hotel should offer more entertainment on site in the evenings- Music was extremely quiet and there was no atmosphere after the show had finished. I found this unusual for a 5 star hotel in Turkey.
Overall a very good holiday but the entertainment lets this hotel down massively and that is why we would not return.
We went as a couple and we absolutely loved our Turkish massage! 🇹🇷💆♀️ From start to finish, it was so relaxing . ERA and NISA were fantastic. We felt completely refreshed, relaxed and pampered. ✨

Best hotel ever in alanya area ( Tosmur) Clean, great service everywere in the hotel. Tasty food and various. Something for everyone to eat. Just simply a great hotel. That I can warmly recommand🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Simply Outstanding – We Will Definitely Return! We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Grand Kaptan Hotel in Alanya, and we can honestly say this is one of the best 5-star all-inclusive hotels we have stayed at in Turkey. I have been holidaying in Turkey for around 30 years, so we have stayed at many different hotels over the years, and the Grand Kaptan really did impress us from start to finish. Before travelling, I contacted the hotel as I had recently undergone an operation and have a disability. I explained that I needed a shower-only room, preferably on a high floor with a lovely view. I have to say, the hotel couldn't have handled our request any better. Funda, the office manager, was absolutely fantastic. She listened to our requirements and made sure everything was arranged before we arrived. Our room was in the perfect location, exactly what I had requested, and the view was lovely. The room itself was ideal for us and everything was just perfect. Knowing that our needs had been considered and taken care of before we even arrived made such a difference. The food was exceptional. The quality was extremely high, with plenty of choice, and we were genuinely impressed. After approximately 30 years of visiting Turkey and staying in many all-inclusive hotels, we can honestly say that the Grand Kaptan is one of the best 5-star all-inclusive hotels we have experienced. The pool, beach, pier and entertainment were all excellent and there was something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the pier. However, what really makes this hotel special is the staff. Every member of staff works incredibly hard to make sure guests have a fantastic holiday. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them, and they don't just do their jobs — they genuinely go out of their way to make you feel welcome and looked after. The hotel should be incredibly proud of its team. We would especially like to thank: Adan, who works at the beach/pier. He was fantastic and was always there to assist us whenever we were sunbathing on the pier. His help was very much appreciated. Ali from the bar, who always made sure we never went thirsty! Fantastic service and always with a smile. Turkan, our maid on the 5th floor, was an absolute gem. She worked tirelessly every day to keep our room spotless and made sure we had fresh towels, bedding, toiletries and everything else we needed. Her hard work certainly didn't go unnoticed. And a very special thank you to Funda, the office manager, who deserves particular recognition for the way she dealt with my request before our holiday. She made sure our room was absolutely spot on and we couldn't have asked for a better location or a more suitable room. We came away from the Grand Kaptan feeling that we had been genuinely cared for, and that's something you don't always get at a large hotel. Would we return? Absolutely! The Grand Kaptan has definitely become one of those hotels where you leave already thinking about when you can come back. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it to anyone looking for a fantastic all-inclusive holiday in Alanya. A massive thank you to everyone at the Grand Kaptan for making our holiday so special and memorable. You should all be extremely proud of the hotel and, most importantly, the wonderful people who work there. 5 stars from us — and we will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have just arrived and already disappointed that they will not take £10 of Scottish GBP as a safe deposit. Perhaps the hotel can explain this.
