I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation.
The service was excellent, and all the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of dishes that changed every day, so there was always something new to try.
The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Its location is also perfect—only a 3-minute walk to the beach, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
I will definitely come back on my next visit. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so pleasant!
We stayed at the hotel for 12 nights in late July and early August 2026 and were very pleased with our stay! It's important to keep the price in mind and evaluate hotels accurately. We got the best possible experience for a reasonable price, which is why we're so happy. Neighboring hotels are about 1.5-2 times more expensive, so it's not worth comparing. But compared to a 4-star hotel in Kestel, where we stayed last September for the same price, this place is simply heavenly and a complete delight!
Liked:
Pleasant music throughout the day by the pool
Respect for nature and everything around us
Unlimited ice cream (popsicles and swirls in the fridge at the pool bar, plus cones until midnight at the detox bar)
Whole-grain coffee at the detox bar and original detox cocktails
Ahmed, the attentive hotel manager, personally checks in with each family daily in the restaurant to make sure everything is alright and if there are any complaints or problems. This personalized approach is a pleasure.
The hotel manager, Yelda (a woman in black 😉), was very welcoming upon our overnight check-in, listened attentively to our comments about the room the next day, and, together with the receptionist, Svetlana, provided us with a wonderful room for the rest of our stay.
Overall, I would like to note the special atmosphere of friendliness and care; it was very memorable and impressive.
The restaurant is a pleasure to be in: beautifully presented dishes, smiling waiters, quickly preparing tables, mouth-watering aromas, and stunning views from the windows.
Special thanks to the chef: perfectly and deliciously prepared dishes, beautiful desserts, and original appetizers.
I would also like to point out that most hotel guests are mindful of their food choices and only order as much as they can eat, so everyone has enough and mountains of food aren't thrown away, which is very pleasing.
The maids are absolutely all sweet and welcoming, helpful with small details, cleaning quickly, and changing towels and bed linens. – at any time upon request. I'd compare it to fairies – you can't see them, but they're always there if you need them.
The sea is just a 5-minute walk away, and the waves are gentle.
The large pool is conveniently located – there's always a spot in the shade and in the sun, so everyone can choose to their taste.
The ability to eat at any time during the day was very helpful when we arrived at the hotel at 2 a.m. (due to a late flight), and we often skipped lunch during the day because delicious burgers, salads, spaghetti, and hot dogs can be ordered from the pool bar from midday until evening.
Our room was 2303, large and bright, in Building 2 on the 3rd floor. Everything was great, exactly like in the hotel photos.
WiFi is free throughout the hotel and fast enough.
Sometimes in the evening (until about 10 p.m.) there was live music – a performer played a synthesizer and sang popular songs.
No What I liked:
The room for the first night (since we arrived during peak season, the hotel was full and we were given the only available one temporarily): the windows faced the street, the balcony door didn't close properly, and we were woken at 4:50 AM by the call to prayer from the nearby mosque. And that room was small. I recommend choosing a room with a pool view; it's much quieter there.
There's virtually no entertainer for children. We heard him a couple of times during the day, loudly announcing some kind of activity in the pool, but nothing actually happened. And the mini-disco wasn't available every evening, and when it was, it was uninteresting — just a video of dancing on the screen that the children had to imitate.
It's good that there are plenty of free floaties and mattresses, balls, and water pistols near the pools, so the kids could entertain themselves.
Sometimes in the evenings, there was small debris in the sea, making it unpleasant to swim in, but this seems to be a problem along the entire coastline.
The electrical outlets are inconveniently located – only near the mirror opposite the bed. We always bring an extension cord and this wasn't a problem, but others should be prepared in advance.
Bottom line: it's better than we expected!
If you expect a 4 star hotel, you will most likely be dissappointed. The rooms are cozy but tiny, however me and my partner made it work. The bathroom wasn't cleaned well, but we can imagine some of it was impossible to clean up due to it seeming a bit old and in need of some renovation. We also got only one keycard for the room at the beginning of our stay, wich was a bit surprising and inconvenient. We had to ask for another keycard wich was given to us without any trouble. The detox bar was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, and we were a bit dissappointed. The ice cream was excellent, and the ice coffee was good. But everything else was a bit confusing and not up to the standard we were expecting. First of all there was a lot of things we weren't able to order from the menu, for example one of the staff told us they didn't do smoothies, but they were kind and made one for us anyway. The desserts on the menu are apparently rotated, and they only serve what the kitchen has made extra for that day, which was generally dissappointing. The drinks were not included in the All inclusive, which was also a bummer. The pool was good, however getting sunbeds were nearly impossible. There was also a lot of people there, which meant that it was difficult to relax by the pool without getting a ball in the face or getting splashed on. The food was edible and okay, but it lacked variation and a little bit of quality. A lot of the tim eit was cold or lukewarm, and the buffet was lacking a bit of options. We found the dessert options to be very underwhelming, but however the overall food was definitely okay.
On the positive side the staff was absolutely amazing, especially one guy by the detox bar and one of the bartenders made our stay so much better. We got unbranded alcohol drinks for free, and tho they weren't the best they are what you can expect in the All inclusive. The locations is good and close to the beach. There were a lot of activites throughout the day, with waterpolo and evening entertainment. The room was cleaned everyday and the staff was welcoming.
You get what you pay for and within the price range it could be a good option. While some of the hotel aspects were a bit dissapointing to us, we enjoyed our stay and had a very nice holiday.
Nice hotel, close to the beach and other amenities, staff very friendly and helpfull, especially Can, Zehide and Sefkan, thank you for a lovely stay.
My stay at Citrus Plaza Hotel in Alanya took place in mid-April, just before the start of the main tourist season. It turned out to be an excellent choice, especially considering the value for money.
The hotel's greatest strength is undoubtedly its staff. The team is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive. Employees quickly remember guests' preferences in the café, restaurant, and bar, making you feel genuinely welcome and well looked after. Special recognition also goes to the hotel manager, who personally takes an interest in guests' experiences and works hard to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
The hotel offers a wide range of facilities, including several bars, a dedicated pool area, a sun terrace, and a gym. There is also an on-site dentist who provides complimentary scans and consultations for guests – an unusual but interesting addition.
The food was enjoyable and varied, and one of the biggest advantages is the 24-hour restaurant, where warm soup and light snacks are still available even after dinner service ends. In addition, the all-inclusive package is available until midnight, giving guests plenty of flexibility throughout their stay.
The location is another strong point. The hotel is close to the beach, cafés, and small shops, while Alanya city centre can be reached in around 15 minutes by car.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and regularly serviced. They are not the most modern, but they provide everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
It is worth noting that some facilities, such as the nightclub and massage salon, were not yet available before the season started. This is understandable, although it may be relevant for some guests.
Summary
This is a hotel focused more on comfortable and relaxing holidays than luxury. Its biggest strengths are the outstanding service, friendly atmosphere, and excellent value for money.
Highlights:
It is worth remembering that I visited before the start of the season, so some facilities were not yet operating. Even so, I had a very positive experience and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing holiday without overspending.
