Playa Martianez Beach is nearby, as well as the stunning Orotava Botanical Gardens. Additionally, the hotel has a snack bar for lighter bites and a drinks bar where to relax with a couple of drinks. Rooms are spacious and bright, featuring all the needed amenities to have a comfortable and pleasant stay.
1 week all inc in august 26 two adults 2 children 14 and 16. Just wanted a late booking cheap all inclusive holiday with no expectations but the 07 was a lucky choice . First off, it was renovated two years ago , and is very clean and modern looking. No smells from kitchen or drainage that you can sometimes get, the standards of upkeep are excellent, carried thru to the food hall. We have two picky kids but there was plenty of choice , serve yourself beer, wines, coffee and usual sodas, english breakfasts ,cereals, several yoghurts, and continental type ham cheese etc, plentiful usual fruits and sliced up papaya, melon etc lunch and dinner lots of choice with always a kids favourite, like nuggets, fish fingers, chips , mixed in with Spanish dishes like paella, plenty sweets, four different ice creams, and six pudding pots apart from cakes etc. I’ve left some photos of breakfasts . Pool, very clean and plenty sun beds and brollies, lots of room, , as it’s a medium sized hotel theres never queues or crowding, with English and Spanish guests, it’s usually quiet around the pool area apart from daily aqua robics and water polo games for those that join in, no pressure. When breakfast finishes, theres the pool bar for drinks coffee etc and a serve yourself of fruit, crisps, pastries, olives, toasted sandwiches, after lunch theres burgers and big hot dogs and more tasty items. Staff are welcoming and pleasant and they encourage you to have as much as you like,, and are very happy if you enjoy a particular item. a pool safety person is helping and attending from when it opens at 9am to after 6 pm , night time there is an area for shows, with karaoke, singers, acrobats etc each night, and bingo on your phones ! . The hotel is in La Paz , a raised part of the town , and you can have a pleasant stroll down to the town centre harbour and if you don’t want to walk back up, a taxi back costs 5 euro. A child lost a pass key and it was replaced immediately free with no problems, we had a 3 pm pickup on the last day, youre out of the rooms by 12 as more were booked in , but they kept our bags safe and after being at the pool, they let us use free towels and the showers in the gym /spa area to freshen up before catching the coach . It’s little personal touches like that that made it enjoyable. Very good value for the money, with higher standards than were expected, a strong recommendation for this hotel.
Just heading home after two very lovely and relaxing weeks at the O7 Tenerife - All Inclusive.
I was a little apprehensive before coming due to some of the reviews on here but honestly sometimes I think people just like a reason to moan and maybe need to lower their expectations as this is not a 5* hotel and the price you pay reflects that.
The rooms were clean and a good size, a little dated and definitely in need of air conditioning as they were very hot at night. But you did get a stand up fan which offered a little bit of relief and probably the best the hotel could offer without a full revamp.
The choice of food and drink was good for an all inclusive package and the quality was good with theme nights some nights too. Pool snacks were the same everyday but if you wanted variety you could always eat in the main restaurant.
The staff were great, the cleaners always said good morning and did a brilliant job of keeping things clean, the reception team were friendly and helpful and the bar and restaurant staff were polite and efficient. The external entertainment was ok, but the man (sorry I should know his name really) did a sterling job with the day and evening entertainment which he seemed to run single handedly. My daughter was a big fan of the karaoke but again not everyone's thing.
The pool area was nice, a reasonable number of sunbeds and a nicely grassy area for any overflow which occasionally happened (particularly on the weekends when there seemed to be an influx of Spanish locals, again nothing wrong with that just the hotel felt busier). One brilliant things about the pool was that due to its location there was no access until 9am so there were no ridiculous sunbeds/towel wars at 4am. The pool did need some work as like some others had mentioned there were tiles missing and bits at the bottom but honestly I would rather that than an empty pool being re-tiled at the height of the season.
Location wise we were about 10-15mins walk away from the main resort and there was quite a steep hill to navigate, but it just made the AI food and drink easier to burn off. I did hear someone say that a taxi up was 5 euros but we always just walked it. If you have mobility issues you might want to keep that in mind but there were other bars and shops in the locality. There was also a very good bus network with a main stop right next to the hotel, we used this to get to Santa Cruz for the day but you could probably get to the main resort on it too.
Overall if you are looking for reasonably priced hotel in a good location this will give you everything you need. Don't expect 5* and you really shouldn't be disappointed.
We would definitely come back here if we were to come to Puerto de la Cruz again, but the world is a big place and we like to vary our holiday destinations if we can.
We had a wonderfully time at hotel 07 , the staff were excellent especially Vincent on reception . Rooms were clean and tidy , although without a few items I would of expected. Decent air-conditioning, seemed to be the topic for discussion between guests, fan in room was very weak , looked more of a winter heater . Big shout to Fabio the entertainment for our duration , aqua aerobics, stretching, bingo too name but a few of his talents . Absolute gem of a guy , food was decent also . If I were to eat fish it would be even better. All round great stay 9.5 /10 .
Pool area could do with an update , maybe some astrotuff between pool and bar area. The entertainment struggled in my opinion due to heat indoors . Could be simply solved by some floors fans , and seating outside became premium tables , leading to alot of couples heading out .
Never been to a place were halfway through im looking for a flight home.
Food is good cant fault the food, entertainment is abit boring what the schedule says is completely diffrent to what is on, went to the spa they advertise all sorts went down to book they dont do anything thats advertised, our first day here there was a protest outside from a ex staff member this spoilt the start of the holiday, the snacks are the same each day its suppose to have ice cream all hours but you got to pay extra for it, all inclusive finishes at 11 so its not as advertised at midnight the security is rude kicking you upstairs to bed didnt realise we had a bed time I mean come on we are adults not children the rooms are decent for what you pay no entertainment through the day the night we played bingo then was advertised a disco the disco never happened the singers on friday nights are great probably the best night to have a good time if the food wasnt decent and the friday entertainment wasnt as good this would be a 1 star
Some staff are friendly some you ask a question they look at you with a face on and say I dont know cocktails and sugary and less alcohol breakfast is always the same stuff after 4 days you get sick of eating the same thing, I got a vegetable soup which had chicken in.
Honestly some staff are great but I dont think we would rush back here
Brilliant holiday 17 nights fantastic didn't want to leave we had a great time.
