Situated in the quiet residential area of La Paz , the Best Semiramis Hotel is only a mile from the centre of Puerto de la Cruz and Martianez Swimming Pool. Offering some of the best seaviews on the northern coast of Tenerife this hotel is ideal for a relaxing break. A selection of bars and restaurants as well as a Spa, which offers a range of massage and beauty treatments, area just a few of the facilities available at this well equipped hotel.
Me and my partner had a lovely time at best Semiramis. I would personally rate the hotel as a 4 star not a 5 star as it’s just missing some luxury that a 5 star hotel accommodates. The hallways, our room and bathroom needed some updating. Small things like our balcony tiles were all broken, wallpaper peeling on the walls so it just needs some general work as that is what you would expect in a 5 star hotel. The food was lovely, staff was lovely and the hotel is clean and pool areas clean.

The location was great, peaceful and chilled, but with shops, restaurants etc within a short walk. The atmosphere was relaxed as we went end of season, everyone was friendly and I felt chilled and comfortable in the surroundings. The room was absolutely gorgeous, clean, spacious with a balcony that gave a beautiful view of the ocean. Only complaint is although we were all inclusive, we were told we had to pay for extra coffee and tea for the room?, was not happy with this. Value was great, although things like tea/ coffee for room and certain drinks we were told we would have to pay for, if you pay for ALL inclusive, then you should get ALL inclusive, not have to pay extra for items!. It was really quiet in hotel, so maybe not best hotel for young people, as it is very peaceful. The staff were amazing though and really friendly an helpful.
The hotel at first glance was ok. We booked an all inclusive stay for 4 nights with love holidays. The hotel was clean but our floor (floor 2) smelt damp at times. The room had comfortable beds and a powerful shower. The pool areas were ok but the jacuzzi was cold with bubbles, which wasn’t so pleasant. The food was very basic and for certain snacks and drinks you had to pay, even though we were all inclusive. We also asked for some bottles water for our room and was told that the water was a free welcome drink and that we would have to pay. There was no entertainment for younger people, it stated there was a dance show but when we went they were playing bingo. I do not recommend this hotel because it is not all inclusive as stated and we were very disappointed.
Sad to say we are disappointed for a few reasons. Mainly, if you're not all inclusive you will be charged for water at the evening meal (€8.40 for 4 waters is obscene). When we took our own water, all glasses were quickly removed from the table. Come on, a glass of water should be free surely, especially when dining with children. The hotel itself is really nice in our opinion. The rooms don't cater for anything other than all inclusive so seriously consider the upgrade. The cost of eating out soon adds up to the upgrade. Small fridge, kettle and a small balcony, but clean and tidy rooms. We won't be returning to the hotel as the weather was not what we hoped for. We feel a bit robbed of our summer holiday to be honest, although not the Hotel's fault. It was cloudy almost every day due to the north-Tenerife location and it rained a couple of those in mid-August. If you want sun (like we do) then southern hotels are probably better for you.
The hotel was exceptional in everyway we where pleased with the food the rooms where very spacious the food was themed everynite it took 15 minutes to get to the centre of town the reception staff where very helpful the entertainment was great everynite we would definitely come back again
