The hotel was clean, the food was very good, and the staff were friendly; we had a pleasant time as a family and will definitely return—we recommend it.
I have never been to a hotel where the management is so poor and i travel alot, to say im shocked by the way my family has been treated is an understatement. This all started on my first day in the outside bar when one of my children asked for a drink of lemonade. The barmaid looked at me and shrugged her shoulders and said no were shut now. I was playing a bit at first just saying "come on its only a lemonade" and she started shouting at me, i obviously took offence to this and asked to speak to the bar manager( Jose). When he came over he was trying to usher me out as i tried to explain what had happened i just could not beleive this is management within the bahia principe organisation as ive been to a few of there hotels and never been disappointed. I immediately went to the hotel reception and got told the manager is not on site. Later that evening jose was at the main bar and he refused to serve me or my children, again i went and asked for a manager and got the same speil. Its now day 3 of my holiday and ive spent more time out of it than in it waiting to speak to a superior and ive paid to be all inclusive so me and the kids could enjoy the hotel, its an absolute joke of a place and i will be checking out in the morning and seeking a refund. These staff need to go back to school and learn about hospitality
Just come back from a fantastic holiday at this hotel , the bar staff are brilliant along with the hotel entertainment team , food was plentiful with plenty to offer for everyone. We were due to check out at 12 pm but our bus was picking us up at 3.20 , for 10 euros an hour we kept our room for abit longer , will definitely return. The hotel is very central to most things including the lido and the main shopping area .
Just returned from a 5 night break, booked last minute. Overal it was a good stay but not sure I would return. Hotel is in a great location with a balcony overlooking the sea. Our room was quite dated and in need of some renovating. Furniture was old and worn, chipped and not looking the best. Bathroom, overal was ok but toilet was shoehorned into a small alcove. I think a larger person might have struggled to use the toilet comfortably. On the plus side the bed was very comfy and slept well. Found everywhere to be clean and staff were friendly. Food, main restaurant had plenty of choice but I thought it was quite bland and not always appealing. Pool bar lunches, bread for sandwiches was always stale, left uncovered so always had flies hovering. Pool, always managed to get a sunbed, seemed like you weren't able to have fun in the pool! No inflatables or balls allowed in the main pool, felt the lifeguards were always telling people off! Felt more like a 3 star hotel.
Niggles first Rooms are dark and dated but clean intact cleaned everyday Bath towels are quite small Pool is cold but aren't they all BUt it's a great hotel for a relaxing all inclusive The pool towels are a big plus point and can be changed daily Food is good lots of variety breakfast can be very busy You are seated by the staff and they are fab at clearing away empty plates and work hard No fighting at silly am for sunbeds no towels on beds till 9am and geds are always available w Entertanment team are awesome full on and enthusiastic Bar staff work hard too in the evenings they take your drink order at your seats and bring them to you During the day cups are frequently collected by staff so no wasps Hotel overall is very clean Rooms have TV fridge large wardrobe comfy beds a safe and air-conditioning No noise after 12 The kids are catered for with a kids club and two smaller pools which the balls and inflatables are only allowed in not in main pool The small town area is a 15minute walk with supermarket and souvenir shops The views from the hotel across the sea and to the mountain are spectacular I would definitely return for another chilled week
