From our 1st steps into the Bahia Principe hotel the level of professionalism & cleanliness was outstanding … Rooms , pool , Restaurants Fantastic All Staff were so friendly & helpful . Would highly recommend & will Definitely love to come back ☀️
Wonderful hotel and staff. We had a wonderful relaxed week. The choice of food was absolutely amazing. I am coeliac and the gluten free options were excellent. The staff were great and very attentive. The cocktails were class as were the bar staff. You could get a bed by the pool no matter what time you arrived . The evening entertainment was very professional. Favourite act was B&B. We will definitely be back.
We travelled to this hotel as a group of three friends sharing one room. Our trip was in mid August for five nights. The hotel was brilliant and we really enjoyed our relaxing stay. We spent the majority of our time by the pool and we were anlways able to find a sunbed. It did not feel like the hotel was full although there were plenty of people around.
The food was lovely. We felt that there was plenty of variety at each meal time. We did hear some people criticising elements of the buffet but there were various live cooking options at dinner every night and it’s important to remember that there are certain foods which just don’t lend themselves to a buffet style restaurant! Everything we ate was fresh and tasted good. We were also impressed with the range of drinks available within the all inclusive allowance.
Our room was suitable for three people. The bed separated in two and the third person slept on the sofa bed. Before we travelled to the hotel, we knew that the bathroom had no door and we knew that the glass wall of the shower was looking into the room with a blind which could be pulled down to cover it. This wasn’t ideal as a group of three friends but, as I say, we knew this was going to be the case and were therefore prepared. We did string up a towel to sit between the window and the blind as when the light was on you could still see the shadow of the person in the shower without it. It does seem like an unusual design but my understanding is that such a setup is more common in Europe than in the UK!
The hotel is in a very quiet area which suited us and, again, we knew this before we visited. We did catch the public bus into the resort one day but, other than that, we stayed by the pool. There is no beach within walking distance.
Only other comment I would have about the hotel and pool area is the location of the bathroom. When using the sunbeds or the pool, the bathroom option are either in the main lobby or around the back of the pool bar where you have to walk through people sitting on the terrace of the Gofio restaurant. Neither seemed ideal to be passing through whilst wearing swimwear!
We would definitely return to this hotel for a quiet, relaxed stay.
We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a really enjoyable experience.
The food was very good, with plenty of options to choose from, so there was always something for everyone. There were also lots of daytime activities available, which kept us entertained throughout the day. The pool was a great size and there were plenty of sunbeds available, so finding somewhere to relax was never an issue.
A special shout-out to Mary at the pool bar, who was very quick and efficient when serving. Sidney from the entertainment team was brilliant at getting everyone involved in the daytime activities and making sure everyone was having a good time.
The staff were lovely and very helpful throughout our stay.
The rooms were clean and well maintained. The only issue we experienced was that the balcony door wouldn’t lock properly, which was a little concerning.
The evening entertainment could be improved, as we felt there could have been a little more variety. It would also be great if the bar stayed open slightly later.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely consider returning. With a few small improvements, particularly around the evening entertainment and bar opening times it could be an even better experience.
What an absolutely beautiful hotel! Adults only so it was lovely and peaceful, yes it was slightly quieter than normal as the sister hotel was closed for refurbishment but there was still a great atmosphere! Our room was beautiful - even managed an upgrade! With us being all inclusive our bottles water was topped up every day which was brilliant!!
A special shout out to Juan on reception, he was brilliant - even helped my partner organise a birthday surprise whilst we were away. Also want to shout out to Sidney one of the daytime entertainers - what a lovely person! So funny, so friendly and just really made us feel special! He was brilliant at the entertainment!! We were warned a day or so in about some sunbed hogging but we had no problem at all securing a sunbed without getting up at the crack of dawn! The striped double sunbeds were the one! The buffet food was lovely, the drinks selection for the All Inclusive were fantastic - no limit on how many you ordered at a time either so great for doubling up round the pool or in the Teide Lobby Bar!
The evening entertainment too was brilliant - a mixture of live artists (solo and duos).
Overall we’ve had a fantastic experience and would absolutely return in a heartbeat! Well done Bahia Principe Escape ❤️
