Well what can I say well defiantly no negatives at all. Every where is spotless, rooms a great size with massive balconies. Staff are the friendliest we’ve met on our travels. Food something for everyone the bbq night we’re just amazing. Pools we went to them all, all brilliant. Entertainment day and night something for everyone. Well worth the money we paid and we will be back. Location a bit quiet maybe for some but perfect for us. 10 min taxi ride to all water activities. Would 100% recommend this hotel.
Just what we needed, beautiful hotel, beautiful weather, excellent staff, huge variety of food, superb gym, pool, grounds and UK TV channels so we didn’t miss a minute of England in World Cup! (And lots of little kids could see Cbbeeies . Now relaxed and refreshed just what a holiday should be. Only criticism maybe a few more staff needed in the bar but it was World Cup and very busy !
Another fantastic stay at the Roca Nivaria! Our first stay was September 2025 which was amazing which is why we booked again for this year. This hotel has everything you could wish for, amazing pools, fantastic food, beautiful rooms and wonderful staff. Breakfast & the buffet dinner has absolutely everything you could possibly want & the food is so fresh & tasty. Rooms are clean & spacious with a great walk in wardrobe, large bathroom with separate shower & bath & his & hers sinks. We had a small problem in our room where the electrics tripped twice which we think was down to the kettle, reception got the service man to fix the electrics & the kettle was replaced, we didn't have a problem after that. It was fixed both times while we were at breakfast, so it was sorted very quickly. There was entertainment every night which was all very good. My view of this hotel is outstanding & definitely exceeds it's 5*. Would like to thank all the staff for making our holiday so wonderful & can't wait to return again (very soon).
So I’m still at the hotel and this is not a 5 star experience. One person to take drinks orders been waiting. 15 minutes. Oh and despite the menu limited drinks available on the cocktail list. Entertainment is so boring. The food is so samey. As a vegan the options are very limited but would highly recommend the beetroot and aioli dip because that’s what I have had pretty much every night. Breakfast is okay. It’s clean. Pools are nice. But this is a very poor standard for 5 star. I would say it’s a strong 3 or good 4. Max.
You have to taxi everywhere. The walks are limited which is such a shame because it’s so pretty. For the World Cup all games were on silent. So you could watch but even when guests asked for them to put volume on. They refused because of the ‘entertainment’. In the end went to the hard rock hotel next door - big screen. Amazing atmosphere!!
It’s such a shame because I came for 10 days with my daughter and haven’t been Tenerife before. Apparently the south is the place to be. I would recommend a lovely restaurant where you can watch the sun go down along the promenade. Great vibe and atmosphere.
Sad to say won’t be coming back here!
We had a fantastic stay at Roca Nivaria Gran Hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were spacious and spotless, and the ocean views were amazing. The food was excellent with plenty of variety, and the pools and facilities were perfect for relaxation. A wonderful hotel in a beautiful location — highly recommended!
