Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a week in September. We had the best time at the hotel! Although we were on the top floor overlooking Veronica’s we actually slept well and enjoyed our stay. The negative reviews did panic us before we went but we had the best time. The hotel is clean, the food is great, loads of sun lounger in September. I do think a lot of the bad reviews are because people are not looking before they book and that it might not be super family friendly when you are next to the strip. The staff also were so lovely!
We recently enjoyed a short holiday at Sol Tenerife, Mother (63)and Daughter (43) I can honestly say after reading all the reviews I was slightly concerned but I can honestly say that we had a fantastic time at the Sol Tenerife Hotel,we were on B block and the noise from the strip we could barely hear. Anywhere in Playa has back ground noise,that’s part and parcel of being in a vibrant resort .The location that it's in is perfect right on the beachfront. A good hotel that deserves better reviews than what it has been getting so far it exceeded my expectations,from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the warm, respectful and genuinely friendly reception staff also will do anything to make you feel part of the hotel and will help you feel as comfortable as possible,we felt very safe here with security on the door day and night. Room was clean,but very basic needs a little updating as it only had two electrical sockets one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. The cleaning staff work very hard to keep your room clean and tidy. The food was good and we never had a day when you could not find something to eat. The entertainment was good every night and always something for everyone. The pool area was always clean and tidy. Overall, Sol Tenerife gave us a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable holiday experience. The food, entertainment, activities, cleanliness and, above all, the wonderful staff that all contributed to making our stay special. A good hotel that deserves better reviews than what it has been getting so far. We certainly would recommend and will be back as it’s good value and it's a good location. Don’t let the bad reviews put you off staying here.
Just back from a week at this hotel this is a mixed review but honest one. Got to the hotel very late all the staff was friendly and very welcoming even though got there very late still made sure we got something to eat when we got to the room what we had previously read on here became true the rooms are very basic first hotel that I have been to that only has two electrical sockets one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom so if you take your tablets,phones and earphones it’s hard to charge everything. The bed are very outdated and very uncomfortable the one thing I will say is that the cleaning staff work very hard to keep your room clean and tidy and will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The pools have nowhere near enough sun-beds for the amount of guests. The food was good and never had a day when you could not find something to eat. The hotel run on a policy of using sustainable cups at the bar where on arrival you get given tokens for your cups rather than using plastic cups. The pool area is always clean and tidy. Want to give a big shout out to Macu in the restaurant and also Carolina the guest experience Manager where whilst we was there my friend was taking ill and Macu could not do enough for her and also Carolina contacted us whilst we was at the hospital to make sure that she was ok and on our return Carolina went above her duty as a guest manager to make sure that my friend had anything that she needed and was made to feel as comfortable as possible as was always checking to make sure everything was ok. If you want a sub-bed you need to get up and get one by 8.30am otherwise you won’t get one. This hotel also run a policy that when you check out at 12 you lose all privileges of your all inclusive so if you are levering late you go without food and drink unless you purchase it which is the first hotel I have ever been to that this happens. The reception staff also will do anything to make you feel part of the hotel and will help you feel as comfortable as possible. The entertainment was good every night and always something for everyone. All in all a bit of a mixed review but also can not thank the staff enough for what they do.
I would never go to this hotel again we had to move rooms as it was infested with bed bugs my partner slept in reception for 2 nights I slept on a chair for 2 night it ruined are holiday cockroaches in the toilets and restaurants it was disgraceful never ever again I have pictures of these to
I went with my best friend and 7 nights was just not long enough! The hotel is so clean, all the staff are helful anf friendly, the room fairies cleaned our room every day. Going alm inclusive was definately the best idea wd had we literally didnt need to leave the grounds betwedk the sunbathing, pool all day only vreaking for the bar and food. The entertainment each night was great and varied. The food options for all three stiings were very varied and fresh, something for everyone! The port for whale watching is a 5 min taxi away and worth a go. Our last night and i just wish we could stay and relax more!!
