This hotel is located Playa de las Américas, Spain. Sitting next to a golden sand and crystal water beach. It has a good location being only 15 kilometres distance from the Tenerife Sur airport. Nearby attractions as commercial centres, Golf clubs or aquatic parks are alternatives of entertainment for travellers.
This magnificent hotel is ideal for family vacation as it offers a vast number of activities to join when stay in. A nice large pool as well as a childrens pool, where guests can either take a dip to cool off or lounge around whilst soaking up the warm sun on the surrounding sunbeds. The hotel also features an on-site gym and spa centre offering treatments at a fee for a sense of relaxation. Mediterranean Palace offers a range of dining options including a buffet restaurant, pool bar and sports bar.
Comfortable, spacious and ait-conditioned rooms with lovely views will charm all visitors when stay. All guestrooms are equipped with a TV, hair dryer, telephone, fridge rental and safe at no extra cost, 24 h room service and free WiFi during your stay.
Pamper yourself with on-site massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 2 outdoor swimming pools and bicycles to rent. This resort also features complimentary wireless Internet access, babysitting (surcharge) and an arcade/games room. Getting to nearby attractions is a breeze with the local area shuttle (surcharge).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just back from one week staying here . I will start with the positives the swimming pool all communal areas are fab , always no issue to get a sun bed excellent change of towels at pool . Breakfast very busy especially between 9 am and 10 am but good choice off food we always found a table no Que to get in .
Location is great on golden mile exit also to beach . Rooms cleaned every day good shower pressure comfortable bed good wifi .
Now to the not so good check in was not great got there at 2.30 pm told room not ready even though advertised check in 2 pm . Told you room ready in 20 mins so we waited 30 mins nothing ask again told another 30 mins .
Not happy about this complained reception then went look at room told 10 mins . Then after 15 mins came over given key to find its not our room someone else's . Then back again oh sorry gave wrong room key our room was ready so not great first impression.
No offer to take luggage to room had to ask how to get to room . Got to room safe does not work back to reception again . In fairness was fixed straight away but this is not five star hotel service .
Entertainment in evening was awful some of the worst I seen in Tenerife H10 hotels stayed in so much better service to bar was so hit and miss ignored lots other times good .
Food in the evening was poor same most nights and food not cooked properly cold chicken and not good enough again h10 hotels stayed in so much better again service not great in restaurant in evening .
Due to these issues would not return and this is for sure not a five star hotel four star hotel at very best .
We’ve just returned from a week at the hotel, staying on a bed and breakfast basis.
My honest opinion on the hotel (and it’s not a bad one but there were a few things that baffled me): The hotel is stunning, well thought out and visually beautiful. The rooms are great, and perfectly adequate for our stay.
Staff were also great, which makes a massive difference for us.
We chose B&B as there was no option for AI at the time of booking, which was fine as we wanted to eat out quite a bit. Honestly, I’m glad because our breakfast experience wasn’t all that good. The food is very tasty, and I’m of the mindset that if you can’t find something to eat, that’s a you issue! But we found all of the hot food was cold, and I don’t mean a little, I mean stone cold! My husband likes Eggs Benedict, but his was so cold he couldn’t eat it. Such a shame. One other small thing I noticed, is there were no bottles of water available, unless purchased from the shop. There is a water machine, but I got “told off” for filling a small bottle!!
The sports bar…. Only open during bad weather, what’s all that about? The ground floor is so pretty, that we would have loved to sit down there and watch the football but the whole week it was closed, talk about missing a trick with the Champions League on! The bar on the first floor, where the shows are, ALWAYS had a queue, which is crazy to me! So we ended up eating out the whole time, which worked out expensive for basically sleeping there only.
Would we return, I don’t think we would in all honesty, which is such a shame as the potential is there. We both say, perhaps with other holidays/destinations we’ve been to, we’ve been spoilt, but I’m just trying to give our honest opinion.
Second time we’ve stayed here. First time was before the refurb. They have done a great job with the refurbishment and the rooms are lovely. All the staff are really nice and polite and the room cleaning was spot on. We stayed half board and the food was really good with plenty of options.
Our only one annoyance was people leaving towels on sunbeds from 8am and not coming back until the afternoon. There are signs saying this isn’t allowed and that towels will be removed but staff don’t follow this through. Why say you’ll do this and then don’t. It’s very frustrating.
Stayed for a week and enjoyed the facilities. Bedroom was modern, clean, well appointed and comfortable. Bathroom was small but had a good shower. Pool area is large, clean and well maintained. Pool bar was busy and quite expensive. Coal restaurant was a disappointment as both our steaks were extremely fatty with little meat. We told the waiter but no allowance was made for such a poor meal. Main negative about the hotel was the lack of sound proofing between rooms and hallways. The walls are extremely thin so the noise from other rooms and corridors was incessant. Otherwise I would give a better rating. Location is good and well situated for local shops and the beach.
Just spent a week in this wonderful hotel. Almost everything was fantastic. Hotel is clean, beds are great . Location is fantastic and staff could just not do enough to help, in particular almost all of the staff in The Pier Restaurant just could not do enough to help us. Unfortunately there was one staff member who was cross and unhelpful every day. Her name was “ Micaela”. She was a well built blonde hair woman . I reported her to the restaurant Manager and explained that I never complain but I just had to bring this woman to his attention. He asked to write a review on trip advisor.
