The Hotel La Siesta boasts a stunning location in the popular resort of Playa de las Americas - where you will find heaps of shops, bars, and restaurants. The hotel is just a stone’s throw away from a lovely sandy beach, and on top of that… the golf course Golf de Las Americas is also within walking distance!
There is plenty on offer for guests who wish to burn off some energy, such as the hotels on-site fitness centre and tennis court. As well as the choice of two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, both surrounded by sun loungers and parasols to help guests kick back and relax. Next to the pool is a bar, where you can get some refreshments and snacks. The hotel has a second bar called the ‘Palapa Bar’. Guests can enjoy their meals at the hotel’s restaurant, serving international cuisines in a buffet style, with some occasional themed dinners throughout the week.
Other facilities featured at the hotel include a spa, hot tub & jacuzzi, beauty shop and barbers. For children, there is a dedicated area called ‘Magic Park’ housing a mini club with a ball pit and slides, and for older kids or even adults - a games room full of electronic games, snooker, table football and other paid services.
Rooms are spacious and decorated in an elegant yet modern fashion. All rooms are equipped with a range of facilities to help ensure guests have a comfortable stay, this includes air conditioning, satellite TV, a safe*, mini bar*, free toiletries and complete with a balcony. Upgraded rooms to include premium services like free daily spa access, bathrobes and slippers and welcome gifts, are available at a surcharge.
Fantastic hotel, close to the beach, great facilities including a gym and pool. Special thanks to Herminia at reception, nothing was too much for her to arrange or help with. Ramon at the poolside bar always had a big smile on his face and went out of his way to ensure that you had a great time. Would gladly go back again.
Location " great 2min walk from main strip Atmosphere very plesant and lovley. Rooms excellant clean and very moden maids everyday tea coffee milk mini fridge value for.money cleaniness. Good to know: This is the first all inclusive I’ve been to that you didn’t get wristbands. You need your room key to get drinks at the bar, to get anything from the snack bar and to get water at lunch and dinner. It was fine but just a bit annoying especially when it was busy at dinner and you sat for ages to just get a drink of water.
Staff: The staff at this hotel were great. In particular Tino, Antonio and Yaried were very friendly and remembered our order at the bar! The cleaning staff were lovely as well!
Location: Fantastic location just a short walk from the beach, shops and the strip. It was a lively and busy street but you couldn’t hear any noise from the rooms.
Rooms: The rooms were clean and spacious. The rooms only had shampoo and body wash in the shower which was a bit strange but the balcony, toilet and room were not to complain about.
Pool: The pool area was great and both pools were lovely. There was a few occasions we needed to take sunbeds off the pile and find a spot so there could be a bit more space for the amount of people at the pools.
Food: The food was okay but it could have been better. Breakfast was good and the snack bar was good. Lunch and dinner was hit or miss. They had themed nights and it didn’t always match up and there were some nights we didn’t eat a lot. Also do not like that you can’t help yourself to water or juice it needs to be brought to you.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel as the location, staff and amenities were great. The only downfall was the room keys being needed for everything and maybe a few more options at lunch and dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Last stayed at La Siesta in 2017 & 2018, decided to return, found hotel had been updated/decorated since last here, the hallways as I remember we're dark but a great transformation to bright colours. Room was great with small fridge snd kettle and cups now available, bedroom and bathroom very clean and everything we needed. Restaurant was fine, stayed half board, had theme food days and always had a good selection, as we are a bit pickie with food we always found something nice to eat, had good selection of salads and very tempting cakes. We used the roof top area to relax and sun bathe. Had onsite evening entertainment on outside stage after the kids mini disco. Found all staff professional, friendly and genuine from reception staff, restaurant staff and cleaning staff and will definitely return next year.
We stayed here 11th to 25th September this was our 2nd year as we enjoyed the hotel so much last year. The location of the hotel is amazing everything really close by. The rooms are very comfortable & are a great size little fridge which is very handy big bathroom. The pools are really nice one you can just walk into the pool bar is very good snack are lovely we had ham & cheese toasties most days came with some chips drinks are very reasonable also they are the same price for the bar in the evenings as well, food is beautiful plenty of choice & different theam every night. We stayed half board breakfast is also very nice plenty of choice. Our second week our family had gone home so we used the roof sun terrace which is only over 18s fabulous doubles beds with canopy very comfortable this hotel offers everything you need staff very friendly & helpful we would highly recommend it
