Amazing family holiday
This is our second time visiting this hotel and we loved our stay. The animation team really made the whole holiday for our kids (6&5), especially Shelby and Swely - they are so lovely and make such an effort to ensure all kids are having a great time. The water slides were a favourite for our kids, especially the life guard Mariane who made such an effort with all the kids. The hotel rooms are very spacious, it feels like your own little house. The white party is great, so much effort goes into it - the mini disco and entertainment is good especially the acrobat show. Only suggestion I have is luggage help/carts on arrival, especially with young kids and cases the extra help would be great.
A fantastic two weeks at Gran Oasis Resort
We’ve just returned from two brilliant weeks at Gran Oasis Resort and honestly had such a lovely family holiday. From the moment we arrived, we found the staff so friendly, welcoming and hardworking, and there are a few people we really wanted to mention.
A very special thank you to Savoldi, who was incredibly helpful when our son needed some medical assistance during our stay. He went above and beyond to help me, even making sure I had the information I needed about a doctor written down on paper. When you’re away from home and one of your children isn’t well, that kind of help and reassurance means a lot. Thank you, Savoldi.
The entertainment team were fantastic — Bemba, Oscar, Cristian, Eva, Shelby and Ismael — always full of energy and good humour and working so hard to keep everyone entertained. You really added to our holiday!
And then there’s Miguel — what a man! 😂 Our super barista, always in great form and seemingly ALWAYS working. This guy definitely deserves a day off! Thanks for the coffees, the laughs and, most importantly, for keeping the Prosecco flowing, Miguel! 🥂😂
A big mention too for Javi Teira, who was always smiling, incredibly friendly and professional every time we met him, and to Makán for looking after us so well.
We also have to mention Pedro from security — an absolute gentleman and a genuinely lovely guy.
The food was lovely throughout our stay, with plenty of choice, and we really enjoyed our time around the pools. Our apartment suited us perfectly as a family travelling with two teenagers — we had the space we needed and it was a really comfortable base for our two weeks.
One of the nicest parts of the holiday was also the people we met along the way. We met some genuinely great people during our stay, which added even more to the experience and the memories we brought home.
Of course, there are so many staff whose names we didn’t get. A huge thank you to everyone across reception, housekeeping, the restaurant, bars, maintenance and the rest of the resort. You can see how hard the staff work every day, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
This was our first stay at Gran Oasis and it certainly left an impression. Two weeks flew by and we came home with some brilliant family memories of Tenerife.

⭐ 1 star – Absolutely appalling experience
What should have been a relaxing family holiday turned into an extremely upsetting and distressing experience.
During our stay, we received a complaint about noise. Although we were travelling with two children, aged 16 and 2, I completely understand that hotels have rules regarding noise and I was willing to address any genuine concerns. However, the way the situation was handled was completely unacceptable. They had said mt children was running around gone 12 mindnite knocking on doors this was not the case the children in question there parents came to reception to tell the manager it was there children infact and not mine they still didn’t want to listen. They was abrupt , rude and laughed at me when I was explaining the situation. I asked them for proof it was my children they said they have no cctv in the hotel however there is cctv there in the reception and outside area. They was unable to provide any evidence of this. We were ultimately told that we had to leave the accommodation. This left me and my children in an extremely difficult situation while we were abroad, with nowhere suitable to stay. When I explained to the manager, Andrea, that I could not afford to pay for alternative accommodation, I was told to “sleep on the streets.” I found this response absolutely shocking, particularly when I was travelling with my children.
Being removed from our accommodation during a family holiday was incredibly stressful and frightening. Regardless of any disagreement about noise, I believe there are far more appropriate and compassionate ways to deal with guests, especially a family with children who are already abroad and have nowhere else to go.
This experience completely ruined our holiday. What should have been a positive family break became an extremely distressing situation that I would not wish on anyone.
I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to think very carefully about how they would be treated if a problem arose during their stay. For us, the way the situation was handled was unacceptable and completely overshadowed the entire holiday. I noticed one of the cleaners of the hotel pick up my son’s sliders and show another cleaner smiled and put them in her pocket until I said there mine she then gave me them back. I would never never come back to this hotel , they had cockroaches roaming around the hotel awful. 1 star — I would not stay here again.
Don’t listen to the good reviews
Would never come back to this hotel , I’ve seen so many good reviews and find it extremely hard to believe … the hotel staff was rude especially the manager Andrea , also another lady at reception was rude unhelpful and disrespectful. Offered no help with luggage the room wasn’t available to check in when we arrived still had to wait for it to be cleaned. Food was awful I ordered chicken nuggets and chips and the nuggets was like rubber and the skin was like cardboard. After eating we was unwell so didn’t eat there again ate out. I’m glad we only went bed and breakfast if i had gone all inclusive I’d be extremely upset. Not worth the price I paid at all. Says it’s a family resort however when the children make noise they complain.
Gran oasis beautiful place 😍
Gran oasis resort tenerife was beautiful from entering the place to leaving. The atmosphere was fantastic very welcoming and pleasant the rooms was also beautiful very clean and cosy perfect for my family plenty of room. The food was brilliant too plenty of choices different themed nights the entertainment round the pool was great for the kids. Honestly couldn't fault the hotel. The entertainment staff did a absolutely fantastic job was non stop I did speak to an entertainer and her name was sue at the gran oasis resort I know she was on trial for a month as one of the entertainers and I really hope she gets the job as she was absolutely fantastic she was very polite. All the staff was great overall. The cleaners was out everyday cleaning the toilets the rooms the pool area it. I would 100 % come back again we was sad to leave also entertainment at night wasn't too bad
