Well this was our second visit here as a family. with my mother-in-law and father-in-law who are very elderly but we hired them mobility scooter and a wheelchair that was very easy to hire while we were there. The Hotel was amazing very helpful if there was anything you needed help with what you needed to get anything the food was amazing always plenty of it and plenty of choice and I am a fussy eater. The food was always nice and because one thing I cannot stand is cold food uncertain days they got this thing out in the swimming pool. It’s like a blue floaty thing and you had to run along it. It was so much fun. I would definitely go back here again.
We stayed at Gran Oasis in Tenerife from the 12th to the 22nd of July 2026 as a family of four, with two young adult daughters aged sixteen and twenty. Honestly, we couldn't fault it. The rooms were fantastic, absolutely spotless, very spacious, and the duplex layout felt more like a private villa, with separate bedrooms, a large bathroom, and balconies upstairs and downstairs, which worked perfectly for us with older kids. The pool area was excellent with a main pool, a smaller pool, and a baby pool. The all-inclusive food was delicious with a huge choice every day. We always found something we liked, and bottles of wine were available with meals. A really nice touch was staff walking around offering watermelon while we sunbathed, which was lovely. The activities were plentiful. We joined in darts, aqua aerobics, and water polo, plus table tennis, and even an arcade. The pool party was amazing, and there were also fashion shows and fun sun cream demos. The evening entertainment was very good, starting with a kids disco around 8, followed by family shows. We saw a brilliant Celine Dion tribute and another fantastic singer doing Stevie Wonder. The vibe was relaxed and fun, and you could dance or just sit and watch. The staff were amazing across the board big shout out to Alma from animation team eho made rhe holiday greay fun, friendly, helpful, and full of energy. They even supplied pool towels, which was another little bonus. 6 euro in taxi to main strip for a more lively night .Overall, a fantastic holiday. We'd highly recommend Gran Oasis, especially for families with older kids or young adults. Five stars.
Lovely time away with my girlfriends for a special birthday. Don’t usually do all inclusive, thought breakfast was good with a great selection, being gluten free and pescatarian I found lunch and dinner a challenge at times. Ate a lot of salad and chips. Snack areas and pool bars were lovely. Free shuttle bus was great and had a lovely day by the beach. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, a particular shout out to Renate and Shelly who organised some fun aqua aerobic sessions and evening entertainment- such lovely ladies who made it extra special. Some family evening entertainment but did finish quite early for a group of friends away together we would have liked a bit of music for dancing. Adult only pool area would be nice but understand it is a family hotel.
Really lovely hotel. Super helpful and friendly staff, especially Renate and Shelby. We loved their water aerobics - got the whole pool going! Beautiful spacious rooms with generous balconies, furniture and shades if needed. Very green around the hotel with beautiful flowers and trees, however it’s not near anything much, so taxis or the free shuttle bus are a must for exploring the nearby town and beach. We went all inclusive, and enjoyed quality drinks, coffee and food. Much nicer than your average all inclusive which can often feel like canteens! It’s very child friendly, so not so good if you prefer adult only. Very clean everywhere! Would return and look at booking direct first,
We have just returned from Gran Oasis resort with the family and grandparents (ages 3,5 and 62) we all had a lovely time however If you have aby mobility problems or young childrencrawlers its worth knowing this hotel is on a big hill, there are stairs or steep ramps that you will have to get up and down daily to get around the hotel, the floor gets very slippy. Even inside every room there are steep stairs to get down to the bathrooom. The adults enjoyed the food and the themed nights but i foind there wasnt a huge veriety for kids, My son ate bread and butter most evenings as the sausages were the tinned ones (other than breakfast) no pizza, fish fingers etc just chicken nuggets every night. Things we loved was the eveing and day time entertainment. Being able to enjoy games and activities with the kids instead of putting them into kids club and not sharing the memories with them, was a huge highlight. Shelby was loved by our kids. Overall a great holiday, very clean and scenic.Good location by taxi, short air port trasnfer, close. To las americas and cristianos.
