Gara Suites Golf and Spa

From somebody who reads trip advisor reviews before booking any holiday this is my honest opinion. This hotel is such a great value for money! It is by far one of the cheapest places to stay in Americas & this does become apparent why in certain areas but overall it wouldn’t stop me from coming back. When we first arrived our room had a horrible smell which we put down to the cleaners using dirty water when mopping. We filled the room with air fresheners which soon cleared the smell. The room itself was very clean and spacious & had everything we needed as a young family. The pool area is one of the cleanest we have been to abroad & there is absolutey no fighting over sunbeds, at any time of the day sunbeds are available which we have never witnessed before whilst being abroad. The hotel breakfast has everything you need but does get busy around 09:30, I can only presume this is due to the pool opening at 10 so people filling up just before. Location wise, yes you are out the way of the main strip in Americas but this means at night the hotel is very quiet. Taxis are readily available, we waited no longer than 5 minutes for a taxi & it’s around €7 from the hotel to the main strip in Americas. All of the staff are very friendly & if you are hiring a car then the car park is huge. This is located underneath the hotel. We paid €34 for parking which was for one week. Overall, this hotel is not the best hotel in Americas but I would say it is the best value for money. Would definitely come back!

Amazing! Welcoming! Good entertainment

We recently stayed at Gara Suites Golf & Spa Tenerife Sur with our two children and had an absolutely wonderful family vacation! The rooms were exceptionally spacious, clean, and perfectly set up for a family of four, giving us plenty of space to relax. We loved the pool area, which was clean, well-maintained, and a huge hit with the kids. For my spouse and me, having the beautiful golf course right next to the property provided a stunning, peaceful backdrop. A huge highlight was the food—the buffet offered a fantastic variety of delicious, fresh Spanish & international options every single day, catering easily to both adults and picky children. Above all, the hospitality of the staff truly stood out. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went out of their way to make our family feel at home. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a memorable holiday. The location of the hotel is also very convenient and taxi is available at your doorstep ! Highly Recommend!
