At the OA Beach Club we have hammocks, Balinese beds and umbrellas, where all of these have an additional charge. The hotel will be completely closed from May 2 to May 17, 2024 for renovations to its facilities.

I have always wanted to stay at this hotel and decided I would treat myself in August last year. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the pool area and sun loungers were the nicest I've had! The breakfast was lovely and I enjoyed sitting in the court yard to eat. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel
Location great, staff lovely, food great, building stunning etc etc. We stayed in P106 low level pool facing room. 1st thing we noticed was how fab the room was however it smelt really MUSTY/DAMP this was not the real problem. From night one we began to get bitten by mosquitos , we thought maybe whilst out on a night . After night two I was covered in bites/sores & partner had 4 or 5. Came in night 3 and realised the room had at least a dozen mosquitos on the ceiling/walls spent till the early hours trying to kill them . The outside plants: water are a breeding ground and enter the room when the patio doors are open . The management moved us to a top floor with no problems. I Have been back home 5 days & still these bites flare up. My concern is this if this had been children or babies it would be much worse . Front of desk said ,we will get stuff from chemist, No it needs fumigating around pools/water . If you have a lower room BEWARE because these bites have lasted almost 2 weeks and itch like hell. I have added 2 photos but could have added 25.
Sublime. Always a delight to spend some time at the wonderful Hotel Villa Cortes. The attention to detail is exceptional without appearing too fancy. The hotel is spotless. Congratulations to the garden team, housekeeping team and all those who clearly work hard "behind the scenes". Without their input it would be noticeable. Eric and Manon on reception (and the whole team) are engaging and professional. Nina, Club House organised 2 wonderful personal tours for us. A delight. Team OA and Tiziano, are super. Andy, Eva, Miguel (we very much missed Anibal) and the rest of the team provide faultless service. It is clear we love HVC (15 time visitors). It is genuinely a home from home, not in terms of decor but that wonderful immediate welcome when you step into the glorious reception after a long day travelling. Finally, thank you Aki. You always take time out to say hello and look after us royally. The whole team effort, subtlety done, makes for a truly wonderful wind down stay. Bravo. Kevin and Tracie.
Our second visit to this beautiful hotel. We were greeted by Marco who took our luggage and checked in with a very pleasant lady called Patricia. Marco showed us to our room which had a large balcony with sunbeds with amazing views of Playa de las Americas. the sea and the hills. Breakfast was served in a lovely courtyard.. my husband's favourite was the Juanchito served up by the chef. All of the staff were friendly .. special mention to the lovely Katherine who was very pleasant and helped me with my Spanish conversation. We also enjoyed cocktails by pool and beach bar. Special mention to the live singer one afternoon .. she was really good. We ate a couple of times at the beach restaurant facing the sea. Staff were all very friendly and the food was delicious. We were checked out by the friendly Eric and Patricia .. very sad to leave but hopefully will be back again soon. Muchas gracias!
I’ll stick to useful info. No security or doorman common to most other units so my pal had his watch taken in a distraction robbery near entrance. No pool service around main pool and single pool bar person so long waits for cocktails. No poolside service for sunshade movement guests have to help each other. Beach club was closed to hotel guests Friday/Saturday (earplugs required) and €15 per bed on other less noisy days (it may at least have some service). Breakfast good, half board ok. Otherwise unremarkable and is overpriced given the lack of services. Service is generally grudging and absent any enthusiasm. Could be vastly improved with a few extra staff at the pool and a security/doorman at the entrance.
