The place you have been dreaming about. An Adults Only concept-hotel with a modern design, tasteful decoration and excellent quality standards overall, located in the heart of Playa de las Américas with exclusive areas specially designed for a trip as a couple or with friends to the south of Tenerife. Enjoy live music in our fully refurbished Lobby Bar and relax in one of the four islands located in the new solarium with amazing sea views.
We would like to inform you that according to our new Green & Smart programme, starting next Summer 2023 season our Coral Suites & Spa (as per 11.04.2023) will be converted into “NON-SMOKING” hotel, which means that smoking is not allowed in the hotel premises, except for one designated outdoor smoking area adjacent to the Hotel Reception / Entrance of the complex, fitted with seating and ashtrays.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We booked a suite and the hotel confirmed this in writing before arrival. Despite that, when we checked in, staff casually informed us the suite was “not available” due to a burst pipe. I understand unforeseen issues happen — but the way staff dealt with it was unacceptable. There was no prior warning, no apology, and no effort to resolve the situation professionally. The staff just waited until we arrived to tell us, they could have rang or emailed.
They offered us dinner every night and a standard room instead. We had already booked restaurants, so we requested a cash refund for the difference we paid. Staff refused and insisted dinner was the only option. We stood at reception for at least an hour while they avoided offering any reasonable alternative. Eventually, after we suggested it, they reluctantly agreed to one night’s dinner and all‑inclusive drinks for the stay.
The issues continued at the bar. One member of staff at the bar was extremely rude and told us we had to pay for drinks or else go back to reception, despite reception confirming our all‑inclusive arrangement. After back‑and‑forth between bar and reception, we were told we were only allowed certain drinks — the ones marked with black dots — meaning the “all‑inclusive drinks” we were promised were not actually all‑inclusive. After this the bar staff were pleasant with us.
The room we received was much smaller than the suite but clean, and housekeeping did a good job.
The hotel itself is nice, very clean and quiet, but the staff’s attitude, lack of communication, and refusal to take responsibility ruined the experience. They should have contacted us before arrival, explained the situation, and offered a proper solution — not waited until check‑in and left us standing at reception for an hour. Because of how poorly the situation was handled, I would not return.
It also seemed possible that the suite may have been available during our stay. We asked reception to let us know if it became available again, but we never received any update. Later in the week, on our fourth night, we could see from our balcony that the suites were occupied by other guests, which made the situation feel even more unclear.
We chose to stay here to celebrate a special birthday. Unfortunately, despite emailing the hotel in advance to let them know, there was no acknowledgement or gesture to mark the occasion, which was disappointing.
On arrival, we had to wait around 20 minutes for someone to attend reception, as it was close to 10:30pm. We were then informed that if we wanted food, we would need to go across the road, despite being all-inclusive guests.
The staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, throughout our stay, it often felt as though all-inclusive guests were treated differently to other guests. On one occasion, when I explained that I am vegetarian and there was not even a vegetarian pizza option available, despite seeing several suitable items listed on the self-catering menu, I was simply told that I could have vegetables. At the bar, all-inclusive guests were given different glasses from other guests, and the wine included in the package was of very poor quality. Based on this experience, I would not pay extra for the all-inclusive package again.
Our room was lovely, as we stayed in a corner suite. I particularly appreciated that the hotel accommodated my request for a separate bed in the sitting room area, as my friend and I prefer to sleep in separate rooms.
The rooftop area was beautiful, and the sound of the water created a very relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, there was no bar service there, and once again it felt as though all-inclusive guests were treated as a lower priority, with staff often taking orders from self-catering guests ahead of us.
Overall, I would stay at this hotel again because of its lovely facilities and accommodation; however, I would definitely choose not to book the all-inclusive package in the future.
The location was spot on . Took 30 min transferred from the airport . Two of us have disability’s so was handy the we could get Motability scooter to getting around . We went to the golden mile 4 evenings but was better to go about 8pm when it was cooler . The hotel itself was 10/10 from the reception staff to the cleaners . Nothing was to much for any of them . We went to he spa it was ok for what you paid . The noise wasn’t to bad apart from when more travellers arrived late at night . I only herd on the first night but my friends herd a few times . The rooms were so big with a small kitchen for self caterers I only needed he kettle for my morning cuppa . The air con was amazing . Didn’t have to pay for the use of the safe or subbed on the roof which I have in other hotels . It’s a shame there wasn’t a bar on the roof top otherwise we’d have gone up there more often . The food was spot on no complaints about any of it . Good variety from healthy for to the usual chips and pizza . Plenty of drinks available for all inclusive as well. I would give this great value for money and we will be going back next year . Haven’t stayed in an all adults hotel only before and I must admit it was good . Something different but definitely you need to try out .
This is a great hotel. It’s very centrally located in Las American with many amenities on its door step. Not too noisy but enough right outside. Reception is really kept immaculate and is well presented and it always smelled beautiful. Excellent staff everywhere in this hotel, everyone is friendly, helpful and pleasant from reception staff to servers and housekeeping. Rooms are cleaned to a very high standard and are equipped with absolutely everything you could think of needing. From kitchen goods to ironing boards, irons, charger port and reading lights. Also there is plenty of hanging space for clothes in an open style wardrobe. Pool area is very clean and has nice beds and umbrellas but they are taken up very quickly in the morning. Not all sun loungers get sunshine all day either. The roof terrace always had space to sit out and was sunny all day with amazing views. We only stayed Bed and Breakfast and very very impressed with the variety and quality of food. They had everything you could want. One thing I would comment on to management is everything from the cooked breakfast stations were cooked in an awful lot of oil and might not be to everyone’s taste. ( Bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms.) We did not personally have any noise complaint issues but it is a lively resort with a vibrant couture so some street noise should be expected. Over all this hotel is brilliant and we would definitely return.
Lovely hotel, Good food , Friendly staff, Special mention to Pedro and Jose Maria and the lovely reception staff but all staff are lovely. Situated in a great position. Spotlessly clean. No complaints about anything, Be aware that this is a non smoking Vaping hotel, You have to go to the smoking area which is situated outside the main doors but we met lot's of friends while having a vape outside the main entrance. People we wouldn't have met otherwise. So it has it's benefits.
