This beautiful, up-scale hotel is the perfect spot facing βEl CamisΓ³n Beachβ, where guests can enjoy a relaxing holiday experience in company of their partner, family or friends.
In the surrounding area, guests will find a wide variety of other activities and moments of wellbeing that cannot fail to impress them. As leisure options, visitors will have the Safari Shopping Centre with plenty of shops and restaurants at hand, and golf enthusiasts will be pleased to find an 18-hole course just 500 metres away from the premises.
The hotel offers an outdoor pool with a large sun terrace, surrounded by Roman columns and marble statues, among a seemingly boundless array of leisure, recreational and dining amenities and facilities.
The hotelβs guest rooms are luxuriously-appointed, offering a sanctuary of comfort and serenity for a home away from home stay. All rooms are equipped with a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I can't say anything negative about this hotel and our stay here. We spent 10 night. The breakfast choices were amazing, I've never seen so much choice and we loved the freshly made omeletts. It was my birthday while we stayed here and the hotel did a lovely gesture of a cake and a drink at breakfast and the pianist played happy birthday, it was beautiful and made my day. The hotel is within walking distance of everything you could possibly need. We did read the reviews before we left and the room could do with a little update but that's personal preference and it didn't bother us as it's only there to sleep in. And talking about sleep, the bed was massive, I couldn't find my husband π. The interior and exterior of the hotel is simply beautiful and makes you feel that you have stepped back in time and brought back lots of found memories for my husband of holidays when he was younger. There are plenty of sunbeds and it didn't matter what time we went to the pool we always found a sunbed. The hotel is clean and all the staff are helpful. We will definitely be coming back.
Excellent hotel and great location very pleasant and friendly staff nice and clean and felt very safe. Rooms are nice and clean but if Iβm being picky some bits need attention like paint touch up and cracks in tiles but overall Iβd definitely come back to this hotel. Pool area very clean and breakfast was good plenty to choose from. Plenty of sunbeds available so no need to wake up at stupid oβclock to put your towels down. Excellent towel service at this hotel and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The beach is literally on your doorstep
Cleopatra Palace Hotel is, in my opinion, just an average hotel. Its biggest advantage is its excellent beachfront location. Apart from that, there is very little that justifies the premium prices. Another disappointing aspect is the lack of clarity around some room upgrade options. Some tour operators advertise upgraded rooms with descriptions that are not always clear, making it difficult for guests to understand exactly what they are paying extra for. In some cases, the price differences appear substantial despite no obvious difference in room features, size or amenities. The hotel should work with its partners to ensure that room categories are described more precisely, as currently some descriptions are misleading. Some room upgrades are simply not worth the extra cost. For example, we upgraded to a room with a private whirlpool bath on the terrace. One of the main reasons for choosing this room was the whirlpool on the terrace, but the water was so cold that it was impossible to use comfortably throughout our stay. Paying a significant premium for a feature that could not realistically be enjoyed was extremely disappointing. The hotel also offers relatively poor value compared with other nearby hotels. Many neighbouring hotels offer half-board or dinner options that guest can upgrade to, but Cleopatra Palace operates strictly on a breakfast-only basis, the hotel does not offer half-board packages at all. When you compare the hotel facilities, roomsβ design, upgrade options and overall value for money, there are much better hotels in the area that cost less while offering more. Overall, I would not choose Cleopatra Palace again. There are several nearby hotels that offer better value for money, more comprehensive facilities, fairer pricing and a more enjoyable overall guest experience.
Holiday with husband and 16 year old daughter for 11 nights. Well looked after on arrival - reception staff very friendly and informative - champagne for us on arrival and luggage taken to room quickly by the hotel porter. All staff multilingual which puts us to shame! Room was clean, fresh and huge bathroom with excellent showering/washing facilities, more than ample storage room for our luggage . I had read and heard people say the hotel rooms are dated, and there was not enough for families to do - the rooms are abit dated but we booked with Jet2 and the images shown and the description supplied are accurate, so we were not disappointed and having more modern furniture is not a selling point to us for a holiday and we are past the stage of having young kids so it was refreshing to have a relaxing atmosphere! We were booked for bed and breakfast and again great food and service. The chefs who were preparing the fresh omelettes etc and gluten options were excellent. Pool areas were well kept/organised and clean. The pool attendants were friendly and took care of the facilities well. The pool itself was lovely and a great temperature, the aqua aerobics was a proper workout - not like some aqua aerobics I have done in previous hotels. The housekeeping team were lovely and could not do enough for you, bed linen and towels changed when you asked and they doubled checked in the occasion we left a do not disturb on the door by leaving a message under door in case we changed mind. We did not make use of the piano lounge for the evening entertainment or visit the sister hotel for entertainment as the resort has so much to do. The location of the hotel is right next to a lovely beach with lots of supermarkets, restaurants close by. On the other side of the hotel is the Golden mile which is full of shops - some high end designer and some high street fashion, as well as numerous restaurants of various cuisines. It is also close enough to visit other areas for young adults the nightlife area of Veronicas is within walking distance and other resorts such as Costa Adeje. As a family we would recommend this hotel and would be happy to return.
We had stayed previously but this time treated ourselves to plunge pool room. It was a spacious room and the balcony had a lot of room as well. We were grateful for the loungers on the balcony as some days it would have been a struggle to get one by the pool. It seems that the pool area is impacted by med palace guests being able to use the pool at Cleopatra but not vice versa. Cleopatra is a much quieter pool area so I can understand the attraction. The beach is very close by so that would be an option if you were struggling - though you do have to pay.
A net would have good for the plunge pool, just to keep it a bit cleaner, and a toilet brush in the bathroom, say no more!
Room was fine, very clean, it is a bit tired but you can always find faults if you look for them. Communal areas are lovely, pool bar was reasonable for drinks and snacks. All the staff were very nice and courteous.
We are already planning our next trip.
