beautiful location beachfront ,spotless throughout , great sta ff , buffet breakfast good food replenished promptly , peaceful at night , relaxing intertainment at night , wi-fi good , very good value .
We normally go self catering in Los Cris , but Clepatras came up trumps , so welcoming , Cesar was very welcoming and cleaning staff & staff in general were all very nice & helpful . We opted for bed & breakfast , it is what it is , serve yourself & something for everyone. We do believe that the rooms are very very tired and in need of revamp, although we could not complain about the room cleanliness. We would definitely stay here again just because of the situation of where it is . I am sure we will return Cleopatras .
This was our 2nd visit to this hotel and again we opted for a sea view which is amazing. Food is very good and the pool area is excellent. All the staff are amazing but have to give a special thanks to Janine on reception who looked after us for 2nd year running. Diane and Paul
Having been going to the Cleopatra for almost 30 years since when it first opened, it has constantly deterriated to the point where it pains me to be able only to award one star. The rooms and general infrastructure are no higher than the most basic one/two hotel. This used to be one of the most desirable hotels on the island - sadly it's a pale shadow of its former self. No quibble with the staff who try their best but I would seriously deter anyone from booking unless it's incredibly cheap. From our experience it used to offer good value for money we always booked one of the bedrooms with personal plunge pool. Unfortunately, it's no longer an attractive proposition. The hotel needs hundreds of millions of Euros spent on refurbishment and I believe is to be closed next year for work to commence. The neighbouring Mediterranean Palace was a three-year project and looks every bit a worthwhile investment. To do to the same scale with the Cleopatra would, I expect, be a much longer process.
I'll start by saying the rooms are dated and in need of upgrading but, are kept spotlessly clean and the hotel has a super location on the Golden Mile and overlooking Playa del Camison beach. The staff were all very helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice. Nice, quiet pool area and no sunbed drama! Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. I would definitely return and recommend.
