The BEST TENERIFE is located in an area bursting with shops and restaurants that give it life both day and night. Of particular note are the panoramic views of the swimming pool. It's 380 rooms offer customers a functional and pleasant environment. The hotel entertainment staff offer activities day and night. Facilities include Air Conditioning.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Good location , very friendly staff & helpful , We had room on 5th floor very spacious , would recommend for families Good breakfast , with very good cleanliness
Hotel was very nice, rooms nice and cleaned everyday and balcony. Food and drink good, and self serve for drink so no queues, able to get subbed, overall very good experience. Only fault which did niggle was staff so keen to get your plates in the restaurant that they kept taking it away before finished. You could just feel there eyes on you hovering to take your plate away, kind of annoying when you just go to get a drink and you come back and your food is gone, my daughter asked a server not to take a plate and the server said ‘ well why did she leave it unattended then! It was a full plate of untouched food! and staff waiting in the restaurant could be a little more happy and more customer service from that, very good.
Nice hotel, rooms air conned and the drink and food menu are nice and affordable. We did 4 nights and loved it. Good staff, no loud noises at night.
Excellent location for young people, so close to pubs and clubs. Very close to the seafront and shops. Hotel is great location. The evening entertainment was very good, prices of drinks are comparable. Gin Bar is nice area to sit and chat.
Rooms are great size. Lifts are cool with glass and view out. Pool area large, annoying when people were smoking and vaping. Would benefit from having a smokers section maybe. People usually grab sunbeds from 08.00 even though poor staff are trying to clean. But still got beds later, help yourself to them.
Initially I thought lack of umbrellas but numbers increased at end of 10 days which was fabulous.
Teenagers able to entertain themselves, joining the aqua aerobics, some of the activities provided and excellent being able to play with a ball in the pool. Plenty room in pool which was great.
Great having shops next door. Had breakfast only and great selection of food. Some mornings some selections that should have been hot were cool. Lovely have a glass of cava.
Cleaners on third floor were so lovely and cleaners around the hotel and pool that I met. Gin Bar staff were lovely. Pool bar staff seemed to have poorer English and some could be mis - interpreted as may be rude. Reception staff in general were friendly,
Found some staff in local bars, restaurants unfriendly which spoiled some evenings out
But cannot fault the hotel and it was lovely to have the free water and the option of the 20 minute introductory massage with the male masseuse(whose name I forget) was excellent.
Hotel best room had no soap in the room, we had body wash and body milk in the hand wash holder, and shampoo and no conditioner in the shower , we had a kettle but no tea or coffee provided, the house keeping where good, the staff were friendly. The main let down was the food, we had all inclusive package. This included breakfast lunch and dinner. The food is opaque, bland and overcooked. The food dishes severely lacked any form of seasoning, the paella dish was lukewarm under the heat lamp, having worked myself in the restaurant industry in the UK this shows poor food hygiene as bacteria have an easier time multiplying when temperatures are not maintained. This was the same for cheeses which were warm in the center and had an off taste. I did not witness any staff checking food temperatures regularly thus increasing the risk. In addition I have a food allergy of shellfish, the restaurant food signs contain insufficient detailing on allergies such as allergies symbols showing what is in each dish instead of just “tuna” which also contains shellfish which increases risk of allergic reactions to guests with allergies. This again shows poor food hygiene in the restaurant. Having stayed at multiple hotels across the world I have never seen such poor allergies information until staying at best hotel. Furthermore not even the water dispensers work properly with the cold water being warm from the tap and having a very strong metallic taste, perhaps showing the filter needs replacing. Lastly the restaurant contained rotting food on the buffet counter, there was a selection of fruits which where severely outdated to the point they where turning black, please see the picture of the ROTTON FOOD attached. Once again having worked in restaurant industry in the Uk this on top of poor allergy information, no temperature control, shows a lack of understanding of the importance of food hygiene in the kitchen and front of house setting which is appalling for a modern hotel in a high tourism area. This hotel needs swift improvement, because of that I would advise to look elsewhere where for your stay in Tenerife. I especially believe if you have an allergy especially to fish or nuts you should AVOID this place for your own safety or risk getting ill and having your holiday ruined.
