This charming hotel is situated beside the beach of El Medano with a wide selection of shopping and entertainment venues in the neighbourhood. Links to the public transport can be found just a short walk away. The pretty location of this hotel is ideal for guests, offering a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Special features of this hotel include a cosy bar and a restaurant, which is particularly inviting with its delicious cuisine. All the rooms are non-smoking. They each feature a spacious bathroom with shower, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV and a hire safe. From the terrace or the balcony, guests are offered a stunning view of the landscape and the clear sea. There is a saltwater swimming pool in the outdoor complex as well as a poolside snack bar, sun loungers and parasols.
Be sure to enjoy recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and bicycles to rent. Additional amenities at this Mediterranean hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and wedding services.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
OMG …. I last stayed at this small hotel in 2022, when in all honesty, it was a VERY average no frills hotel !
But for various reasons I chose to stay again in April of this year, and WOW, has this hotel changed for the better ..
So much of the hotel has been renovated and upgraded …..
The rooms have a more updated look about them, with wheat/oatmeal colourings …. Gone is the dated plastic furniture on the balcony’s, now replaced with nice wooden furniture. My bathroom was super modern, with a walk in shower complete with a hand held shower and a monsoon shower head. There were plenty of towels, that were replaced daily. My room was a superior sea view, which had a small fridge, and an open wardrobe that offered plenty of space to hang and store clothing.
The breakfast room appeared to be larger than I remember, and offered both inside and al fresco in the sun dining. Towards one end of the restaurant you could eat inside, but the open sliding doors offered much appreciated air. The breakfast itself, isn’t quite on Meliá hotel or similar standards, but is more than adequate with a choice of both hot & cold, cereals, yoghurts, juices, and of course tea & coffee etc etc
I eat twice at the restaurant associated with the hotel, once ‘al fresco’ which overlooked the beach, where you could enjoy watching the kite surfers and similar. Both the burger one night, and the chicken cesar salad were to die for !
The pool area now is unreal. There are several King size bed mattresses to lay out on, which have to be the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced by a pool. In addition, there are endless supplies of cushions and back supports. At no time did I ever see any of these being reserved in advance, and generally there was always an available one to be found. At the side of the pool, there is a bamboo covered area with tables and chairs, if you momentarily wish to relax out of the sun. Furthermore, there is a bar where a full range of drinks are on offer, at an extremely affordable price.
To add to the pool area, there are more new Sun beds and new seating in a ‘club’ area outside the front of the hotel, which are bathed in sunshine, and again face the beach.
So there it is … a lovely small hotel on offer, located towards one end of a boardwalk in a small Spanish coastal resort, that has several bars, restaurants etc, and is EASILY reached by the Titsa public buses that run from Tenerife South Airport, at a cost of EUR 4.40, with one change at San Isidro en route.
I enjoyed my stay so much, I’ve rebooked to come back twice more this year.

We stopped at this hotel for one night whilst we waited for the rest of our group to arrive the next day as we were heading to the North of the island.
I wasn't expecting much to be honest, but in truth, I was actually pleasantly surprised. It exceeded my expectations. It's quietly humble and doesn't boast to be anything it isn't.
For the price point, this hotel actually has a lot to offer. A good location. Decent, comfortable rooms, with more amenities than you find in some 5-star hotels. A sandy beachfront on it's doorstep (a rare find in Tenerife).
I honestly can't fault it and would genuinely recommend it for people on a budget who want nice tapas bars within walking distance, a sandy beach and a short transfer from Tenerife South Airport.
I booked direct at a good price, needing a one night stay near the airport and preferably not in a big tourist resort hotel. I had a single room, no. 217, exactly as shown online, clean, modern decor, small nicely fitted bathroom. Large balcony with chairs and table, not a great view but not a problem. No chair in the room but I suppose there is the option to bring in one from the balcony. Bottle of water in the fridge, a welcome drink available at the bar, a well stocked and varied breakfast, helpful staff. The room was quiet, so much so I was surprised at the number of guests in the breakfast room the follow morning. Pool area looked nice, beach towels available. A 5 minute walk along the seafront to the town, plenty of cafes and bars etc around, and the lady taxi driver told me it was OK for me to walk in and out after dark, always good to know.
The hotel is amazing. Very clean and modern rooms and cleaned daily. Varied breakfast hot and cold which was tasty and plentiful. Most staff very pleasant and helpful. Sited on the end of el Médano and the town is typically Spanish and not many tourists which is what we wanted. Restaurants In the town are really good and varied choice. Now the unfortunate truth you’ll need to know.The wind around the hotel is constant and when you add the dry sand the walk to the town is like being sandblasted. The sand comes over the wall surrounding the pool area and covers everything. After you put sun cream on you end up like human sandpaper. It’s a real shame the wind and sand spoil such a lovely hotel. If you book ask for a room on the entrance side as the wind isn’t bad.
