Located at the south of Tenerife, 12 km from Playa de Las Américas, this hotel is built in the middle of a volcanic landscape near Las Galletas, profiting from the sunniest area of the island where tropical vegetation and desert landscapes meet. It is located in a large and splendid park in Costa del Silencio and about 20 minutes away from the airport. Guests are sure to be kept entertained throughout their stay here thanks to the complete amenities and facilities. The apartments were built with respect to the local architectural style and are equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and unforgettable stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Absolutely loving this place . The staff are so thoughtful and help for every request . The hotel it self it’s cool as it is like stepping back in time and I like that . Food was absolutely beautiful and the variety of stuff was unreal at lunches and dinners . We had goat , duck, liver , rabbit you name it . Two types of fish every dinner to . Just beautiful. Definitely not English food which I was so happy about . We will be back for sure . Thank you
me and my partner stayed at this hotel for 10 nights, And it was the worst 10 nights we've ever had on holiday. the building is literally falling apart with chunks of concrete missing all over the place (see pictures). every time I closed our apartment a small piece of concrete would fall off onto my head It's that bad!!!! apartments are outdated with furniture held together by pieces of MDF (pictures). the hotel itself Overall is dilapidated But the pool area ironically is lovely with plenty of seating But the lifeguards lifeguards are with them clicking at my partner like she was a dog before wiggling their finger at her with no context given and walking away. food options OK but very same with most evenings considering of a pork option and a fish option with very little variation. considering we paid over £1800 for the holiday I don't think it represented value for money considering on one night they were serving liver for a change But I found glass in the food which have attached a picture of alas continued to serve the food even though I advise two waiters and main reception immediately. Equally I do not think that the cleanliness was where it should be for a holiday of this cost. the lack of air con is unforgivable in a modern hotel but it's just one of many money spinners that the hotel employs to try and get as much money out of you as they can including charging €60 per week for an air conditioning unit, a €7 charge in addition to a deposit for a towel which you do not get Additional charges for drinks after certain times additional charges if you want your room cleaning more often An extortionate charge for WI fi Asking for €30 for a week's WI fi which doesn't work and doesn't connect in the rooms and has almost no signal anywhere but reception. Avoid this hotel at all costs Pay the little bit extra to go somewhere else trust me you will thank yourself for it in the end. Do not use this hotel
An absolutely awful experience, I don’t think there are enough words in the dictionary to describe this hovel of a place. I just feel so sorry for the people who are stuck there… I’m thankful I only spent 12 hours there. Even at that, it’s an experience I will never forget for all the wrong reasons.
Avoid this hotel at all costs and avoid f you’re booking through a travel agent like we did, before confirming always check out reviews thoroughly before committing to any hotel.
Never ever have I had an experience were my wife and I lasted 12hrw in a hotel..sold to us by a travel agent as traditional hotel.Dump is the only way to describe this hotel from hell..the patio doors security was a bolt from the inside which looked onto which I can only describe as a lean to ,they called it the bar were warm beer was poured into a paper cup and even though you pay all inclusive you pay for your drinks after 10:30 at night.no air conditioning, walls falling apart ,concrete missing from the ceilings and tiles broken on the floor..The 1 fork in the kitchenette,I about gouged my eye out so I couldn't see anymore.I felt sorry for the man on reception when we got him to call a cab the fek out of there.would have taken him if we could.Food is a bio hazard waiting to happen .Do not book or listen to anyone that says this is not true!!! In it's hay day I suppose it would have be n nicer ,but I wouldn't want to travel back in time to 1920......not worth the anxiety and money and we paid good money...like going to your local tip on a Wednesday
We booked this break rather than stay with my 90 year father in law, as his carer was on holiday for a week. This was based on cost (quite cheap) and being not too lively. Also being 20 minutes transfer from the airport makes things much easier. We checked in after midnight due to a late scheduled flight but reception was very good and the late arrival did not make any difference. We had one bedroom and got a fold up bed in the main room. The rooms are very basic, not much furniture, and not too many electric points. There is no air conditioning at all and only one ceiling fan in the main room, nothing in the bedroom. Kitchen area had a sink, 2 place hob and an under counter fridge. Plates cutlery and cups for two people but no cooking pans. We did borrow a kettle from reception. Bathroom had a sink toilet and bath tub with a shower tap and curtain. There was a large tv in the main room fixed to the wall but you will need to hire a remote control from reception. There is wifi but this will cost 30 euros per device per week, so think about arranging roaming or esim before you travel as I'm sure that would be cheaper. All inclusive meant breakfast lunch and dinner all served buffet style in the dining room. The food was excellent with some items cooked to order. The bar was open 10.30 to 22.30 for all inclusive then pay after 22.30. Beer was San Miguel on draught. Some other bottled options and 0% beer are stocked and sold with a discount to all inclusive customers. Wine and sangria on tap. Local spirits and mixers for the all inclusive, with brand name spirits at extra discounted cost. The bar also serves hot snacks 10.30 to 15.00 The swimming pool was large and had a life guard during the day. A small children's paddling pool in the corner. There is an animations team who organise sports like rifle shooting, archery and darts every day, with some more sedate table games at the bar. There is evening entertainment every night 21.30 to 22.30 run be the animations team. The site is a little dated but everything works. Some of the units are privately owned so that means people take care of the surroundings. It is in a quieter area of Tenerife so I would not recommend this for younger people. There was a kids club room but as we did not have children with us I could not comment. Food choice was international European but no separate children's items. However I did see kitchen staff serving children's food separately so check with the resort if you have fussy eaters. I would love to return as this place offers great value for money and basic facilities that all work.
