Enjoyable experience

We went for a family holiday to celebrate a special birthday, and although we didn’t get an upgrade as others have experienced, our stay was lovely. Our trip was relatively last minute as our planned holiday was cancelled due to a combination of factors. I had never been to Tenerife and the choice of holiday was last minute. We chose this hotel based on the reviews, and glad we did. The service is excellent and the surroundings beautiful. Tenerife itself is overdeveloped on the coast (in my opinion) but this hotel is set back away from the beach, so you don’t experience the noise and crowds. Food is excellent with a great variety and choice at breakfast (and dinner should you choose to try the buffet). One thing that I particularly liked was the workshops provided for adults which I have not seen in other hotels previously, which usually offer yoga/pilates etc. These are not classes per se but “experiences” eg my daughter and I joined a coffee making workshop and loved how it was delivered - well done to Monica (the activities coordinator) and Ordri (hope I spelt that correctly) the bar tender. We also joined a jewellery making workshop and a painting workshop, both of which were great fun. The only small niggle was the lack of provision of bottled water in the room (most hotels provide one free bottle daily, here it was just at the beginning of the stay). However, this was more than offset by the staff (unobtrusive but excellent) the setting (beautiful design+ gorgeous views) and also value for money - equivalent hotels appear to be significantly higher in cost, though I can’t see why. All in all, I would highly recommend. I am glad we took a chance on a last minute booking!

Beautiful hotel

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Gorgeous rooms, cleaned daily, breakfast very good especially the egg station & homemade cake. The grounds & pools are immaculate. Adult pool wonderful as was spa. Staff were very accommodating & friendly. The hotel is approx 20 minutes walk from the beach, bars & restaurants. Taxis are reasonable. We mainly walked but it is quite hilly so taxi back good idea too. Definitely 5 star excellent hotel.

Wonderful hotel but stuck in time

We have been to this hotel many times. The staff are wonderful , they really cannot do enough for you. The rooms are comfortable but maybe a bit tired as they haven’t changed since our first visit.the hotel is Beautiful and has an amazing view to the sea.. But over the years the guests have got younger and the hotel hasn’t changed with that. The music playing all day long is soft jazz, I can’t tell you how many times I heard Nora Jones’s and Nina Simone. The evening entertainment was so dreary that nobody clapped. The only bar in the evening is awful with no atmosphere. They play sport on a big tv but it’s not busy. What they need to do is have something to do, my wife really wanted to dance and they could do with a DJ instead of the usual singers and saxophone player. We love this place but it needs to adjust.

Fantastic Hotel

This is the second time hear and wont be the last. Its a great hotel both for Adults and families. Everything about it was unbelievable
