This stunning family-friendly hotel is nestled in the popular tourist resort of Costa Adeje, offering a perfect place for families, couples and groups of friends. It enjoys a great location within a short walk from the marvellous beach and within easy reach of bustling commercial area with shopping centre, restaurants and wide array of entertainment venues such as the nearby waterpark. This elegant complex comprises different accommodation options including standard, double, superior and family rooms. Guests may retire to their tastefully appointed units, where natural tones beautifully combine with cosy furniture and modern amenities. The charming in-house buffet-style restaurant offers show-cooking and serves a wide selection of Italian, Spanish, Mexican and Canarian specialities. The youngest guests will delight in mini club and entertainment while adults may plunge at the outdoor pool or lounge with a drink at the bar.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel is what you would expect from a budget all inclusive. Food isn't great but not as bad as people make out there is always something to eat and plenty of choices. However my main reservation with the food and most of the hotel is the lack of staff I felt that on stations like the grilled meat having only one member of staff trying to do multiple things means things often ran out and took time to be restocked. Breakfast was good but again for the first few days one lady was cooking omelettes, waffles, pancakes, churos and carving ham! This carried on into the bars not enough staff to properly man enough bars for the guests so if the bar in the entertainment part opened the pool bar would be closed meaning you had no choice where to sit and have a drink. Not that there was really much choice anyways again if that evenings entertainment was outside then the pool bar would be open but the inside wouldn't. Even if you did find an open bar the cocktails were rubbish and beer tasteless the cocktails did improve while we stayed at the pool bar with a new machine however I'm pretty sure they're just very sweet fruit juice. Entertainment team were good especially the guys around the pool in the day which was great for the kids with the 'magic carpet' and inflatable day. Rooms were nice enough but in need of some work to make them as good as they could be just small things like the cover for the hot tub falling apart into the hot tub chipped and damaged floor tiles the Aircon really couldn't keep the room cool and was a bit pointless. Hotel was reasonably clean but again was just a bit lacking staff all very pleasant but again not sure if short staffed but sometimes our room wouldn't be cleaned until late afternoon and a couple of days the floor wouldn't be cleaned or sinks/bath cleaned only beds made and fresh towels. All in all not an awful holiday but average I would maybe come back again if the pricing etc was right however when looking out of curiosity it looks like prices have increased for next year and it is just not worth that.
I never write reviews and always think people go over the top with them but to call this hotel 4* is absolutely criminal. I didn’t expect much, thought it would be a typical European all inclusive but I wouldn’t even feed my dog the food here. It’s absolutely disgusting, egg shells in out omelet one morning, the pool food/drinks area is vile and stinks, the hot dogs didn’t even look cooked. We’ve been eating out all our meals now because we can’t even try to face eating here again without borking at the thought. The pool drinks don’t even have taste to them they are watered down that badly. The only positives I will say is the reception staff and cleaners are pleasant, the rooms are big and have been kept nice and clean. But our holiday has been ruined by how disgusting the food is, we’re walking up/down the hill to get to the front numerous times a day to get away from the hotel. Massively put off that coming to Tenerife again, Costa Adeje is a s**t hole aswell unless you are directly on the beach front.
After reading some of the more recent reviews, I have to admit we arrived with a few reservations, especially around the comments about the food, bottled water and even cockroaches. But honestly, we had an amazing stay and would happily return! ❤️
For families with kids, there was so much going on around the pool. The splash pool was brilliant, and the entertainment team were fantastic. The kids loved the magic carpet — the long mat into the pool that they could run along. On our last day, there were giant inflatables in the pool, which went down a treat! 🏖️💦
I also wanted to mention the bottled water, as this seems to be something people have commented on. We were provided with a 2-litre bottle of water at the start of our holiday, which we could refill at the self-service bar beside the main pool. We simply filled it up each evening, so we never found this to be an issue at all. 💧
The snack bar was great — lovely burgers, hot dogs, pizza, toasties and chips, perfect for grabbing something during the day. 🍔🍕🍟 The cocktails were good too! They were perhaps a little inconsistent, but that’s understandable when they’re being made by different members of the bar team. 🍹
The entertainment was another highlight. We really enjoyed the Chinese show, live music and music quiz, and the kids seemed to love the mini disco. 🎶💃
The main food could be a little samey, but we always found it fresh and there was plenty of choice — fresh meat and vegetables, salads, rice, pasta and a kids’ section. Desserts had a smaller selection of cakes and fruit, plus a kids’ corner with sweets, a chocolate fountain and fruit. 🍰🍫🍓
And breakfast was fantastic! Omelettes made to order, full English, fresh pancakes and waffles, smoothies, Prosecco and coffee… what more could you want? 😂🥂🥞
There was also sangria around the pool, which certainly added to the holiday feeling! 🍷☀️
Most importantly, all of the staff were lovely, friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.
So, based on our experience, I wouldn’t let the negative reviews put you off. Of course, everyone’s experience is different, but we genuinely had a fantastic family holiday at Tagoro. Lots for the kids to do, great entertainment, lovely staff, plenty of food and drink, and most importantly, lots of happy memories. ❤️
Would we come back? Absolutely!

Location was within 20-25 mins from airport / 10 mins from Playa Las Americas and same to Siam Water park. Hotel is about a 15min walk to beach downhill so uphill coming back. Adeje itself not much in it so if you like really lively and loads of shopping Las Americas more suitable
Hotel itself was really nice. Rooms spotless and spacious. Are a lot of steps still accessibility may be difficult. All hotel staff were very accommodating. And facility well maintained and cleaned
Food and drink was all inclusive and although not luxurious there was as much as you wanted throughout the day / night and really decent quality. We did go to Adeje (Lima) and Las Americas couple of nights (Bianca’s) to break it up a bit.
Entertainment during the day was ok and evening again was ok.
Gym facility decent if needed
Fresh pool towels with an initial deposit and can be changed daily
Only trip we done was Siam Park. We done day and night pass so went one of the days and then couple of days later went in the night. Absolutely brilliant! Although if going during the day and unlimited fast pass is a must. Expensive but well worth it
So in summary really decent hotel …. Clean and comfortable. Staff really accommodating and look after you
. This hotel is fantastic for families ! Just back from 7 days with my daughter and my two grand children. Every member of staff, whether at the bar, red or entertainment go out of their way to ensure you have the best holiday possible.
