lovely stay in royal deluxe suit. Room spotless and cleaned daily with fresh towels. bottle of water daily, snacks and fresh fruit left in room. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially nadine out of mini mart who had to deal with my friend dropping his wallet and then the waiter who had to deal with him when he dropped a plate and smashed it. The pool was lovely and clean no sunbed wars. breakfast was lovely.
Just back from a wonderful week in sunwing fanabe. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, modern and the perfect location to access the shops, restaurants and beach. We couldn't fault the hotel apart from the lack of entertainment for my 10 year old son, teen club never seemed to be open but maybe wrong time of year. We stayed b&b and the breakfast was really nice with a decent choice available, our room 528 was clean, spacious and ideal for us as a family of 3 on the top level. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming, the onside shop is really handy and staff lovely too. Will definitely return one day 😊
This is the second year we have come to this hotel end Sept into October. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 & 14 with grandparents also. We would a million percent return, there is nothing to dislike, the hotel is immaculate the staff are forever cleaning, sweeping and maintaining the building. We were bed and breakfast and there is ample choice even for the fussiest of eaters, all fresh and replenished throughout the morning. Staff are so friendly and helpful, rooms are big and spacious and the cleaners do a fantastic job, air con only works when you close the patio but was absolutely fine in fact I was a little chilly at night so got a quilt down from the wardrobe. They have a hairdryer which I found quite powerful and there is a little stool in the bathroom if you have a small child so they can reach the sink. They provide bottled water in the fridge and towels for around the pool. They have water aerobics on each morning with music and water polo around an hour later which I found to be a nice amount as we like to join in but don’t don’t like to be bothered too much. We went out each night so can’t comment on entertainment at night, location of the hotel is fantastic very close to everything. We got a taxi to Siam park and the bus back stops just near the hotel and is free. Beds are comfy. Not a single cockroach spotted. I like the fact there’s a baby pool a toddler pool and a bigger one so it’s not over crowded with kids. There are also zero sunbed wars so you can get up at 10-22am and still get a sunbed which is an absolute bonus as our kids love a lie in on a morning. All in all a fantastic hotel, would recommend and would return again and again. The pizza from the bar at lunch time was delicious and only 9 euros. On site mini market reasonable. They have a station to inflate lilos etc. people also leave inflatables for other to have which saves a small fortune. There’s nothing the hotel havnt thought of.
Just back from a 10 night stay at Sunwing Fanabe. Rooms clean, air-conditioning a disaster! Room didn't drop below 27° at any point of our stay. Really uncomfortable.
We have older children (11&14) and they found Sunwing to be very boring. During the day animation team pay no attention to older children, they don't interact with them. None of the team members even said hello to my children throughout our stay. Games scheduled throughout the day but no games are actually carried out - such a bizarre experience.
No music around the pool bar or pool during the day only when the animation team go to the baby pool - which lasts 10-15 mins max. Very very poor.
Show Bar empty every night and even if you wanted to stop by, the area is invested with cockroaches. Absolutely no atmosphere.
We stayed in GF Fanabe twice last year and had a much better experience as a family. Friendly staff and excellent animation team | nightly shows!
Unfortunately wouldn't return to Sunwing.
Great location very clean hotel and overall a pleasant stay but …. The pool is small for how many guests there are unless you want to get taken out by a ball or inflatable breakfast was poor barely warm so we only went down twice, rooms clean and spacious although air con didn’t work great and it was 40 degrees outside so would have been nice if it had worked! No real entertainment as a young couple I wouldn’t book again however if you’ve got kids then maybe it will suit you
