Pueblo Torviscas is a delightful complex 50 metres from the sea and built in the style of an Andalucian Village nestled around the swimming pools. A lovely complex for families and couples looking for a comfortable base close to all amenities in the Torviscas area of Costa Adeje. A wide range of bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance together with ample shops. Close by are 2 beaches, the popular Torviscas beach that offer water sports and stretches right round to Fañabe the smaller more sheltered cove at Puerto Colon Close to the marina.
This complex is close to a bus stop with a car park nearby. Within easy walking distance are the local attractions such as the Aquapark and the twice a week market as well as the Sim Park.
The motorway is easily accessible leading northwards towards the capital city of Santa Cruz and westwards to the fabulous cliffs of Los Gigantes and the more circuitious route via Mount Teide ( the highest mountain in Spain) to the north of the island and such treasures as Loro parque in Puerto de la Cruz.
The reception is open 24 hours a day and provides the usual services, including money exchange, sale of excursions, car hire, book exchange, luggage room etc. The staff are multi-lingual and cover most European languages including English . WIFI is available on the complex and in the room at a charge , please ask receptions for details upon arrival.
On site are 2 restaurants, one located in the square and one on the poolside serving international menus and open on a daily basis for breakfast, lunch and evening meals . There is also a small supermarket on site and a laundrette.
The main pool is heated from November until April. There are plenty of sunbathing terraces with ample sun beds and umbrellas for your relaxation. A pool table and table tennis are also available at the poolside to add to your enjoyment
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Will book via Hilton in future
Can’t fault the hotel at all. Room is good staff are good and it has security. Just be smart I haven’t had anything taken but don’t leave valuables laying around. I’m on the second floor at the back of the hotel it’s noisy but what do people expect. Bars are open late always stuff to do. Only issue I had was with the taxi service from the hotel trying to charge me more than they did my partner. She left 20 mins before me. Taxi driver wanted 30 euros to take me 10 mins up the road when he only charged her 19. It’s on a meter so should be roughly the same as there wasn’t any traffic. Had another taxi driver from same company take me for 18 euros. First taxi driver was swearing and shouting at me because I said I would get a uber as it was cheaper. I would recommend the hotel it’s lovely. My room doesn’t have aircon but it’s equipped with a fan which is plenty good enough. No bugs at all it’s a lovely place to be
The apartments on first arriving were okay reception really good the apartment really spacious and really close to all the amenities but on the first day had to queue for over two hours to get some bed to be told that there wasn’t any. The queueing system is horrendous every two days queueing trying to get a sunbed and some days you can’t even get any. Haven’t said that when you have got to Son if you’ve got children, I recommend that you don’t book these apartments as it’s like being ina prison camp your children cannot do anything they can’t jump. They can’t dive. They can’t splash in fact, I’m surprised they’re allowed to swim. The whistle was blown every five minutes but yet an organised volleyball match was that aggressive it was unreal people fighting jumping on each other pushing each other but you’re your kids can’t be kids. I recommend that these apartments are adults only as they are very pretentious as some of the apartments are owned privately and was told on a number of occasions that we have been coming for years and that this is how it is where I think you should be told upon booking or if you are going book that your kids will just have to sit there and not do anything luckily the beaches lovely so spent a lot of time at the beach where the kids could be kids would never go back to these apartments again. They weren’t cleaned as good as I would expected beds changed once a week which with no air-conditioning is absolutely disgusting and the towels were like tea towels. All in all because of the people that we were with we had a really good holiday. But me mindful if you’ve got children.
So let’s get straight to it. I’ve stayed at hotels where it’s a free for all for the sun beds, and this system works perfectly fine for all. Plenty of beds, no panic. Place is spotless with an army of cleaners and grounds people that keep it that way. Our room was cleaned around 5 times in 10 days!!. We had an apartment overlooking the pool so a decent view, but some of the apartments were overlooking the roads and pavement. Pool bars, shops all good quality and decent prices. Would recommend
Great accommodation. We had a beautiful studio flat with ocean view. Complex is nice and clean all around. Security patrolling at night. There are three restaurants, we like the Pirata one. Two swimming pools but you need to be there early to get a sunbed. First come first serve rule. We spent most days at the beach and came back in the afternoon for pool and drinks. Staff polite and friendly. Also you got all restaurants, bars, beaches outside the complex.
