Pueblo Torviscas is a delightful complex 50 metres from the sea and built in the style of an Andalucian Village nestled around the swimming pools. A lovely complex for families and couples looking for a comfortable base close to all amenities in the Torviscas area of Costa Adeje. A wide range of bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance together with ample shops. Close by are 2 beaches, the popular Torviscas beach that offer water sports and stretches right round to Fañabe the smaller more sheltered cove at Puerto Colon Close to the marina.
This complex is close to a bus stop with a car park nearby. Within easy walking distance are the local attractions such as the Aquapark and the twice a week market as well as the Sim Park.
The motorway is easily accessible leading northwards towards the capital city of Santa Cruz and westwards to the fabulous cliffs of Los Gigantes and the more circuitious route via Mount Teide ( the highest mountain in Spain) to the north of the island and such treasures as Loro parque in Puerto de la Cruz.
The reception is open 24 hours a day and provides the usual services, including money exchange, sale of excursions, car hire, book exchange, luggage room etc. The staff are multi-lingual and cover most European languages including English . WIFI is available on the complex and in the room at a charge , please ask receptions for details upon arrival.
On site are 2 restaurants, one located in the square and one on the poolside serving international menus and open on a daily basis for breakfast, lunch and evening meals . There is also a small supermarket on site and a laundrette.
The main pool is heated from November until April. There are plenty of sunbathing terraces with ample sun beds and umbrellas for your relaxation. A pool table and table tennis are also available at the poolside to add to your enjoyment

Extremely disappointing and vastly overpriced
I paid £837 for a 7-night self-catering stay at Pueblo Torviscas and, unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing holidays I’ve booked.
The apartment was extremely dated and tired throughout. The furnishings looked like they hadn’t been updated for many years, and for the amount of money charged I expected a much higher standard of accommodation.
One of the first things I noticed was the brown-coloured water coming from all of the taps, which was very off-putting and immediately made me question the cleanliness of the water supply. I also found the TV and DVD remotes to be dirty enough that I felt the need to sanitise them before I could use them.
There were also obvious maintenance issues around the apartment, including poorly finished fixtures and fittings, giving the impression that very little money has been invested in maintaining the rooms.
Another frustration was the confusion around the sunbeds. Guests have to ask the lifeguard which beds they’re allowed to use because some are apparently reserved for different parts of the complex. This wasn’t explained at check-in and made what should have been a relaxing day by the pool unnecessarily awkward.
I stayed in Block E, Floor 2, Room 6, and based on my experience I would not choose to stay there again.
The location itself is good, but the accommodation simply does not justify the price being charged. I feel this property is significantly overpriced for the standard of apartment provided, and I certainly wouldn’t book Pueblo Torviscas again or recommend it to others.

Sunset harbour/ Pueblo Torviscas
Just back from a week at the Sunset Harbour/ Pueblo Torviscas.
An excellent complex with an excellent atmosphere, with 2 big pools, one more kid friendly & heated than the other one. Only thing with the pool there is no lilos etc allowed in them which is fair enough.
The complex in right bang centre in the middle of Adeje, with the beach across the road. Plenty bars/ restaurant in the surrounding area and only a 20 mins walk if you fancy going into las Americas for the day.
Some rooms are a bit dated but very clean and spacious and very well maintained. There was work going on in some apartments for renovations, but no noise etc.
3 restaurant on site, a swim up bar and a small bar for snacks & beers etc which is very reasonable priced. Also a shop which sells pastries, juice, sweets etc all also priced reasonably well.
All staff around the complex are very friendly.
All in all and excellent value for money complex and would have no hesitation to return here on holiday. Myself & my family had an amazing time.

The bar outside is playing mind numbing bass music most of the time, would never have come if I knew this
Fair for the money
My overall summary of Pueblos Torvicas is that it is a great and affordable hotel. The location is amazing, right by the beach and literally a 5 minute walk away. It is extremely close to multiple restaurants, including the hotel restaurant/bar, with a couple restaurants and bars just outside the hotel. The room we stayed in had its own wifi box, a balcony with chairs and a table, plus a drying rack. We stayed for a week and had a cleaner twice, however with the beach being black stubborn stand we definitely needed more towels and when we asked for me we were told we had to wait until cleaning day to get more. It was one of the more affordable hotels in that location, which is why we chose to stay there. For context our room was self catering and had a kitchen, my biggest complaints are that there were bugs in the draws and over the cutlery and crockery provided. I wish we could have had a cleaner more frequently and been given more towels, especially considering we’d be spending so much time at the beach, the towels were covered in sand and so was the floor - it made it really hard to feel clean every after a shower. One thing you also HAVE TO KNOW (which we didn’t) is that you have to reserve sun beds with the hotel, if you don’t, you won’t have access to the pool. Obviously in the heart of August the hotel was very busy and the sunbeds would book up quickly. I understand it’s difficult to cater enough sunbeds for every guest, but also some guests would reserve sunbeds and stay there all day, meaning other people couldn’t use them at all.
Overall, it’s a cheap(er) hotel to some of its rivals. The staff are friendly. Our room had a balcony which was great. What would have made our experience better is if we were given fresh towels everyday and the kitchen facilities were better.
Great place to stay.
Great location with plenty of nice bars and eateries. The Pantry does lovely meals. Sunday dinners are brill but you have to book if you want one.
