Labranda Suites Costa Adeje

3rd time at this hotel and amazing as always. Really can’t fault the hotel, location amazing, can’t fault the food (i’m a fussy eater my partner isn’t but we both found something every night), rooms so spacious and pools great. MASSIVE shoutout to JONNY in the animation team, he absolutely made out time here. Kept us involved every day, he works so hard every day and kept everyone entertained. Jonny is an absolute credit to the hotel, can’t thank him enough for everything!

When we arrived at the hotel all seemed to be okay, we got given our room key and got to our room, when we tried turning the AC on as the room was very hot it wasn’t working as it should so we had to have maintenance come out to check it and then the guy saw it wasn’t working himself and cleaned the filters which put dust all over the room, there were also no English tv channels or even simple YouTube that is on most tvs so they are not useful and pointless them being in the rooms, our flooring was lifting up and was covered with duct tape and sharp screws coming out which i cut my foot on, after being there for a few days we walked past our room and thought to push it to check it was locked and the door just slung wide open, we informed reception and we waited for the man to come out to see if he could fix the door and at the start told us it was okay there’s no issue then told us that the door was “f*cked” and “no good” after we showed him the door wasn’t locking because he wasn’t understanding what we were trying to say, we were lucky that no one had gone in our room and stolen anything like our passports and money that were left on the table as the safe was also broke, we had to pack all of our things and wait to be put into another room, we were waiting a while so we rang reception to ask what’s going on and we were told that the hotel was really full and we’re trying to find us a room to be put in, then we had a call to say come to the reception and get our new room keys as a member of staff wouldn’t meet us at the new room with the key, when we got to the new room the shower would only work from the little head and could get it to work from the top one, the shower wasn’t draining so our bathroom ended up flooding with water, the balcony door wasn’t locking at all, and i woke up with all bites all over me from the bed, we were checking out that morning so was going to report it when checking out, they offered us free late checkout but that was it on the morning of checkout, the staff were quite rude we asked when the bar was opening and the woman told us no it’s not open, some of the staff were quite rude to us and were ignoring us but speaking to others in their own language, although they were the bad parts we did enjoy the rooftop bar and spent most of our nights up there, there were staff called Lia, Filipe and Louise they were very talkative and very helpful, they give off a different vibe and attitude compared to the staff who are running the hotel, the staff in the hotel need to be more like those staff mentioned, the cleaners are lovely and can’t fault them always around asking do we need anything or more towels or our room cleaning they can’t do enough, we were a young couple and wouldn’t normally complain but when we’ve spent so much on an all inclusive resort which wasn’t all inclusive at all too, and experienced a bad time due to the hotel then that is something we feel people should watch out for when going.
