Lovely hotel
Fabulous hotel. Clean, friendly staff, lovely food and plenty of it. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Lots of pools to choose from and always got a sunbed.
I stayed at hovima Santa Maria a few years ago and was less than impressed so was dubious of their sister hotel but am pleased to say it did not disappoint.
Keep up the good work, I hope to come back as a solo traveller.

We are just about to leave after a weeks stay at Hovima Suites and we are gutted to be going. Such a friendly and welcoming hotel! A special thanks to Jonny from the animation team for making us welcome from the minute we stepped in. Jonny got us involved in the day and evening activities and always wanted to make people smile. He is an incredible asset to this hotel.
We stayed with the all inclusive excellence package and my gosh was it worth it. The extra choices of drinks, the a la carte breakfast, and the table service for drinks in the buffet made us feel special and like royalty. As well as this our fridge was restocked with different drinks daily and we had an extra area to sunbathe in with a shallow pool that was great to use when it was too hot and a self serve bar.
The food in the a la cart breakfast and Italian restaurant was beautiful and can’t be faulted. As fussy eaters we were always able to find something that we liked in the buffet, some themed nights such as fish night and Asian night we decided to go out for food, but this is just because we aren’t a fan of that cuisine.
Cocktails are STRONG! And as a young couple that liked to go out to Veronica’s every few nights, they were perfect pre drinks and we never had to buy much when we went out.
There was always a sunbed available around the pool, we went to the adult pool every day. Although most of the time we perfected sitting in the excellence area as it had comfier sun beds. Before coming we were worried about the sun situation as the hotel is quite built up however the adult pool has soon pretty much all day from around 11-6pm.
This hotel was amazing however if we had to be picky these are the things that could be improved:
- pool bar snacks (food was sometimes hard and there was no variety)
- allow floats and balls in the pool!
- our key card stopped working 3 times during our stay resulting in trips to the reception to sort it out.
The location of the hotel is perfect and there is plenty of things in walking distance, with las americas just a 10 min taxi away. We spent many evenings in the sports bar watching the World Cup and the atmosphere was great, the animation team put a lot into the final game and it was amazing to watch.
Thank you hovima suites for a fantastic stay (we don’t want to leave!). I would 100% recommend.

great hotel , room was great except the bathroom floor which was falling apart, food didn’t have many options for fussy eaters, only plain food was fries and occasionally pasta, sunset bar was hard to find but great when we did, 10-15 mins taxi to veronicas strip , johnny was great and kept us entertained throughout our stay and helped us find our way around the hotel

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everyone was so welcoming, and the facilities were fantastic.
The highlight of our holiday was without a doubt the entertainment team, especially Johny. He went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He took the time to show us the best parts of the hotel, gave us brilliant recommendations and advice, and was always so friendly and approachable. What really stood out was how he remembered us throughout our stay and always greeted us with a smile and so much energy and positivity. He genuinely made us feel valued and made every day more enjoyable.
Johny’s enthusiasm is contagious, and he is a real credit to the hotel. He truly made our holiday, and we can honestly say we’ll definitely be coming back because of him. Thank you for such an incredible experience—we can’t wait to return!
