This resort is located on the coast, between Playa del Duque and Playa de Fanabe, just some 25 m from the beach. It lies 4 km from the town centre of Adeje. The resort is 80 km to Santa Cruz and Tenerife South-Reina Sofia Airport is 16 km away. The luxury resort comprises a total of 23 superior suites set in private and exclusive surroundings. Guests will love the attention to detail, and the property offers the personalised service of traditional boutique hotels. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area, a waiting room, a reception, a currency exchange facility, lift access, lounges, shops and a hairdressing salon. The younger guests can let off steam at the kids' club and the property offers on-site dining in the main complex, including a buffet restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants and 4 bars. Guests have conference facilities and WLAN Internet access at their disposal and they can also take advantage of the laundry service (charges apply). We’ve been to the Costa Adeje area of Tenerife on numerous occasion's in the last 5 years and stayed at various hotels, I wanted to treat my wife for a special birthday anniversary which I left to the last minute so options for a nice hotel where limited. I therefore booked 4 nights at the Iberostar Anthelia and 6 nights in the Iberostar Salome. Review of the Anthelia Rooms are tired and the housekeeping staff can be a little standoffish, the grounds and the pool area are immaculate. We stayed all inclusive for the 4 nights, staff at the buffet restaurant are friendly and the food was good and plentiful. Be aware that it will cost you €7 euro for a bucket of ice to be brought to the room. We ordered room service for my wife’s birthday which cost €18 per person (pastry option) and there where plenty of food, which was very nice, a little later in the day, the hotel sent a bottle of champagne and a cake, which was greatly received. Review of Salome. This hotel is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in, the room is spotless and clean and the sea view from every room is amazing. We decided to stay bed and breakfast, there is a separate waiter service are and everything is cooked and served fresh. The pool area is quiet and there is never an issue getting a sunbed. The standout for us are the staff throughout this hotel, they are friendly and extremely attentive, there is absolutely nothing they wouldn’t do for you. A special mention to Ramon, Amanda, Altair and Mayerlin for their help and attentiveness they showed us during our stay, they all went above and beyond, which made our stay all the more impressive. We’ll definitely be back.
Absolutely incredible hotel and amazing holiday experience. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they can’t do enough for you. Everything is clean and the food and drink really exceeded everything I expected. I have been before, and I will 100% return - recommend completly!
We are here as a family of five celebrating our anniversary and have had the best time. Everyone is looking after us so well - the service and standards are excellent!
After staying previously at the Anthelia & walking past the Salome numerous times, I made the stay at the Joia Salome a Retirement gift to myself & Wow did I make the right choice!
From arrival there was a Friendly welcome and Professional hospitality from Fran, one of the Butlers & that service was not only there at arrival but continued the entire visit, Thanks Fran!
I was on a Bed & Breakfast plan, as I know the area well & enjoy going to various restaurants during my holiday but was very surprised of the little extras that the hotel offers from Premium Champagne during check in & this was also available in the reception lobby during the day & at breakfast they also offer a premium champagne. The Suite was stunning with a perfect sea view & once settled in the Free bottled water was delivered by Fran & soon after one of the service team arrived to convert the 2 single beds into a double & my request for an ironing board was delivered soon after.
At the beautiful pool area, cava, drinks and snacks are available all day by an amazing team of young lady's & they were continually offering rounds of special drinks, snacks, and water.
From a food perspective, everything I had was excellent. The breakfast at the Mirador restaurant is made-to-order from a large menu, so it’s fresh/hot and highly customizable to your requirements, although you can also use the Anthelia Restaurant which is a buffet. I really enjoy a good breakfast on Holiday and food quality & service is key and I'm pleased to say the Salome breakfast team led by Janeth absolutely nailed it!!!
Overall the service at the Salome was truly fantastic. The Butler and Concierge teams were always available, so helpful, friendly and simply a pleasure to talk to, so a huge thank you & well done to Fran, Ramon, Raquel & Yurena. Housekeeping did a brilliant job and were always early to clean the suite & again the Housekeeping staff were so polite & friendly. So my stay at the Salome was a fantastic experiance, I highly recommend the hotel and will be back in 2027, so again huge thanks to the wonderful team at the Joia Salome & see you all again soon!
Wow. Wow. Wow! What an amazing hotel! The staff welcome you like you’re family. The food is outstanding at every restaurant (big portions too!) Rooms are spotless, clean towels twice a day, mini bar stocked up daily with Premium brands. Girls around the pool are great. Always on hand to keep your drinks topped up!
Rebeca in the Legarto Restaurant is fantastic with a great sense of humour. She gives a great science demo about the earth being round or flat so be sure to ask her. Vicky and Janeth work very hard and are always smiling. A credit to the team. The Poseidon & Portofino restaurants are amazing and run by great teams. They make you feel so special. We’ll be sorry to leave and go home BUT we will definitely be back in a heartbeat!
