Just home from a lovely week at the Waves Las Dalias with my husband and 2 older children (11&15). From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the lovely staff and offered welcome drinks. The whole hotel is very clean (yes certain corridor areas are a little more tired than others but that didn’t bother us) the rooms were clean and the maid visited daily leaving our room spotless and with fresh towels.
We loved that all the wristbands are also your room key so if any of us wanted to pop back to the room we didn’t need to be searching for keys or worrying about losing keys.
The location of the hotel is great, there is a shopping centre directly opposite and lots of restaurants nearby. It is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach.
The food was really good and there was always a large variety with something for everyone. Each night there was a different theme with new foods to try too. The puddings were really good. The restaurant staff were honestly the friendliest people we’ve ever met in a hotel. If you have allergies or dietary needs they go above and beyond for you. My husband is coeliac and they made him his own gluten free pizza, pasta, desserts etc. This was so nice for him as he is often limited at buffet style restaurants. The drinks in the hotel were really good too with some branded drinks being included in the all inclusive (Gordon’s gin, Absolut Vodka) if you ask for it. The wine was really good too and there’s a good range of cocktails. Free ice creams through the day too and the snack bar was great and constantly replenished throughout the day.
The entertainment team were very friendly and there was always something fun going on either around the pool or by the stage. They weren’t pushy if you didn’t fancy joining in.
Overall we have loved this holiday and would definitely come back.
Recently returned from las dalias, when i booked this hotel I read way too many reviews on here and became so nervous I tried to cancel. I am honestly so glad I didn't cancel! The greatest time was had with my partner and my daughters who are 23 and 13, both thoroughly enjoyed.. I like the good stuff in life and this hotel ticked all those boxes.. the positives on here far outweigh the negatives... the food, the staff and the premium drinks were outstanding, ive done all inclusive in some of the nicest 5 star hotels around the world, they didn't compare to las Dalias waves, thank you for your hospitality, muchas gracias Iberostar💚
Still here at the moment, my only reason for completing this review is that management will read The reason I have four stars so far is, why the coffee/tea machines in the restaurant are only available at breakfast time? Why not all meal times? Air con in restaurant is not great The lounge bar ( opposite side of pool bar) only seems to be air conditioned when a match is on, apart from that I can't fault the hotel, staff are superb.
Not one to normally leave a poor review but think this time the hotel and management need to act . All sun beds are gone by 6am , due to people putting towels on beds after the entertainment about 12 . This is an absolute joke , spoke to several people who said they had to come down at 5am to secure a bed around the pool . This resulted in me and my family having to walk down to the beach each day . The evening entertainment is pretty much the same , if you haven’t secured your table by 7pm you haven’t a seat to watch it at 10pm . Really disappointed with this . The hotel itself is lovely but due to this factors I will not be returning. We paid for all inclusive but spent most of the time offsite which meant we spent a lot of money which is ok but not when we wasent expecting this .
Can not fault this hotel at all. The food, drinks & entertainment team (especially Szymon) was amazing. Would definitely recommend, we will definitely be back.
